Nassau Suite Hotel - מיאמי ביץ'

Hotel is becoming worn with no recent updates. Gym had no A/C. Lobby shows wear and no attention to detail. Afternoon/night male front desk clerk very un-friendly. I used to love this hotel but will not return. Disappointed it has not been maintained the way it was on my last visit 5 years ago....properties do not magically maintain themselves!

Great location, friendly staff, and good sized room. For us it was a good value.

For the money this was all I could ever have hoped for. This hotel had everything we needed - clean rooms, updated decor, ideal location and a great price. I would definitely choose this hotel again. I highly recommend it!

was fine and convenient - not at all luxurious - great location. hotel is tired and very in need of updating. room was very spacious. staff was very very nice. would call it shabby and convenient Right on collins Ave and near the Lowes and other nice hotels. They could not find a wine glass that we could borrow... but they sniled and tried!!

The front desk male was the most rude person we ever came across. I had to cancel my reservation eventually. If you are looking for good customer service this hotel should not be even in the last of your list.

This hotel has a great location, upscale amenities and a helpful staff.

The hotel exceeded my expectations and was priced correctly. I just hope the hotel stays in good condition for my next trip. would definitely stay there again - I booked it online without ever staying there and was charmed by the room. Lovely walk in closet, security safe. Full kitchen with granite tops, stove, microwave. bed was comfortable and CLEAN...the front desk people were always friendly. I hope to stay there again soon. I actually didn't want to post this review because now I won't be able to get a room next time! My only comment is if your looking / expectation is for a high end luxury resort type hotel - then you will be disappointed - but if you need a really nice clean spacious room near near Lincoln, beach, etc...then your good here.

The location was optimal; clubs, shops, and pharmacies were within walking distance of the hotel, which saved us money on using a taxi service. However, the hotel itself was pretty average.

Great location, surprised at large the size of the room, rate was very fare for what we got. Breakfast was sparse

It was a good-priced hotel perfectly located close to the beach, Lincoln Road etc. A little noisy at night, but I would recommend it. It had fridge, microwave so you could do a little yourself if you want to. Very friendly staff.

Hotel was over priced for no reason and the people at the front desk are rude as I don't know what.

Studio apartment style offers a good and relaxing base in busy SoBe. Very comfy bed. Clean. Great location. no bar at the hotel means decent noise level. friendly staff, yet sometimes not available. Only annoying thing was that our rooms was out to the back street where they were cleaning up at 6 and on Saturday 7am in the morning with a tremendous noise. Best to get a room on the 2nd floor and the middle.

I felt safe in the neighborhood. The hotel is clean and convenient. It is old, but well-kept. The room with two queen beds is very roomy. It is a well-stocked kitchenette. Mattresses could use replacement. The couch is small. The plastic molded chairs are painfully uncomfortable. Closet space in the room is massive. The staff was helpful and welcoming, with the exception of one young man, whom I asked about a tour company. He said they worked with a company that could take us on a tour of the Everglades and city. I asked if he had a brochure on the available tours. He looked through a notebook and said he didn't have any. I asked if he could go to their website for information. He said the tour company did not have a website. I was incredulous and told him so. He became testy and I decided to let it go. We did take a tour with the company he mentioned, by going to the location and booking the tour in person. It was not a very professional tour, but the driver was a nice enough person. For about $65 per person, we toured from about 10 a.m. until about 6 p.m. We toured the Everglades and rode on an airboat, a few places in Miami Beach and some spots in Miami on the bus. Late in the afternoon, we took a boat tour around the island of the homes of the stars. It was a long day, but the price was nothing to complain about. For the price, the hotel was worth the stay.

This hotel was perfect for our vacation. The rooms had plenty of space and the full kitchen worked out great. The beds were comfortable and clean. The bathroom was big enough for two people to get ready in and the addition of a full body mirror was nice. The location could not of been better, walking distance to everything in South Beach. It was nice to be able to get beach towels and chairs for free and the beach was only a block away. The front desk staff was very friendly and made you feel at home. The cleaning staff took great care of us and even stayed late one day to clean our room. I will stay here next time I am in South Beach.

I stayed in a One Bedroom King Suite and the room was clean, roomy and beautiful.The only pitfall is that in that whole big beautiful suite there are no full length mirrors. How do you supposed to see what you look like going out? But otherwise the Hotel was awesome.

The hotel stay was ok. When we first got there out sheets wasnt clean and we had to wait a whole day to get clean sheets. Front desk never answer the phone, if you need something you have to go doen to front desk. They had electrical problem in the bathroom and The stockets wouldnt work to dry my hair and use my flat irons. Other than that it was ok. Its right in the middle of everything in South Beach.

I have stayed several times and it is always a pleasure. No pool but a great location.

i did not get the room that i paid for. the room i stood in was number 308. there was a small kitchen, and a futon with a coffee table and one king size bed. there was a stereo in the room circa 1999 and they listed there would be an ipod dock in the room, and there wasnt..the lighting was horrible. and there was only one small mirror in the weird area where it was just a sink and mirror, and you had to walk over and there was another room with a shower and toilet. i dont get why they wouldnt just put a mirror in that bathroom, it was plenty of room. there was a walk in closet- right ext to mirror sink area with a safe- the safe was a plus and we used it everyday. the cleaning ladies hardly gave us towels and we had to ask for them one day when the cleaning lady only changed our sheets and left the wet towels in the room without new ones. the woman who comes in and counts the mini bar got into a fight with us the day we left about the mini bar which we caught her in a lie.the location was great though, close to everything. the elevator only fits 2 people and is extremely tight. one of the night time desk guys sleeps on the couchand i did not see any breakfast anywhere. other that that- if the price is right and you want to stay at a hotel just for sleep this is a good choice. but if you care about features and front desk staff, i wouldnt stay here

Very convenient to the action and beach. Our one bedroom suite was exceptional. Lots of room and a complete kitchen.

Convenient for all sights we wanted to see. reasonable room but bathroom/shower a little cramped.

A Below Average hotel. Tile floor, old spring mattresses, and poor/limited breakfast in an old building.....but just 1 block from the beach and very close to many eating/drinking choices. Room A/C worked VERY well though.

construction beginning at 7am on the roof above the room i was staying in, and not having any hot water for a shower because the shower level cannot move past the safety rail they installed on the shower walls.

Very Clean and Renovated Rooms. The rooms are very big with a kitchen, desk, flat screen TV and big beds...we were on the third floor in the back of the hotel so it was very quiet. The one thing I didn't like was the fact that when we checked in our luggage before our room was ready so we could go to the beach, they just left the luggage in the lobby. That doesn't seem safe with people walking in and out. Their was plenty of room in the back and they should allow you to keep your luggage in a safe and secure room. The location is excellent, with it just being one block from the beach....

If u want a clean, relaxing place to come back to after a day at the beach or a night out, and thats still close to the action, this is the spot for u. The fresh smell of the lobby was really cleansing esp after a night out. Had a hotel suite that was perfect with a separate living and dining area, hardwood floors, and really nice bathroom and kitchen. The location is great, close to the beach, lincoln road, ocean ave, etc. The only downfall was since we stayed during spring break, music was blasting during most of the day, could not sleep well at times. Staff was pretty nice (helps if you know Spanish), however watch out for a lot of fees that come ur way I.e resort fees, extra person fees, parking, etc) keep a good count of what u pay for! Also make sure everyone in ur room registers with the hotel, Cus if someone loses their key and cant get in their room, they will not let that person in. Also some keys did not work for us, had to keep getting new keys which was annoying. But regardless, great stay!

I booked this hotel because of the location and the fact that it had been recently updated. However, upon arriving at the hotel it was clear that while the location was great, the upkeep was not. The hallways were dark and tired. Encountering the roomkeeping/frontdesk staff was much the same, as they barely acknowledged your presence and didn't make an effort to make you feel welcome. Meanwhile the beds had to be one step above cots. In fact, cots would've made less noise when you move during the night. At first, I was disappointed that there were two beds, and not one king, but seperate beds were the only way my girlfriend and I could ensure a full night's sleep. We later had to look under the bed to find a lost item and found that the boxsprings were in terrible shape, ripped, and may have been leftover from the original days of the hotel. If you're on a budget/spring break trip with 10 of your friends, this hotel could be for you. It won't be for us again.

This hotel was under construction and a total DUMP. For one night stay, I should have paid a little bit extra and stayed anywhere else than this hotel. The hotel does not look like the picturces posted. BEWARE! And do not stay at this hotel alone.

A wonderful little boutique hotel in the perfect location, on the main drag of A1A, just a block from the beach. Friendly staff, tasteful decor. A simple breakfast is included. It was an especially good deal for a large suite room with a full kitchen. (One critique is the uncomfortable beds, but you can't have it all.)

Room 103 and 104 back up against the service alley and the parking lot. There is a lot of noise from the cars, service attendants, and people arguing once in a while. In addition, right now (January 2012), they are renovating the hotel. During my stay, they power-washed the walls around the windows of my room on the alley-side and as you can imagine, it was loud, even with ear plugs in. The only other bad was that the built-in TV/stereo system was in disrepair and you could not plug the iPod in to play music.

This hotel looks much better online than in person. It is old and run down. It is also very noisy. The sounds echo from the lobby. It was very hard to get a good nights rest. The location was handy to the ocean however.

My girlfriend and I had a quick weekend trip to South Beach. We chose the Nassau Hotel because the price was right, it had two beds, a kitchen and the location looked good. When we arrived (from the airport you can get a taxi for a flat rate of $33 or take the shuttle for $21), we instantly loved the location. It's one block from the beach in the art deco district amongst other older hotels that have been remodeled. The front desk staff was pretty friendly. Our room was a great size with two queen beds, sofa area, walk in closet and pretty much a full kitchen. The decor for the most part was nice and modern. Our only issue with the rooms were the beds, not comfortable at all. If you're gonna redecorate a hotel room go for good beds people. Didn't experience much noise. Continental breakfast was simple but decent. There's no ice which isn't ideal in Miami, but that's an easy enough fix, also the elevator isn't working. There are towels and chairs available to take to the beach at the front desk. Overall, a nice stay at the Nassau.

My room was so dark that I could not tell if the sun was up outside. Bottom floor north-facing rooms were like a crypt of dark. the room was very large, great, with a kithchonette, but I was disappointed by complete absence of daylight.

The Nassau Suite is in the center of everything South Beach. Staff was great and room was very large. The only thing it lacks is a pool but they have parking. Overall a home run of a stay.

I only stayed 1 night but it was very nice. The only complaints would be the bed was squeaky and the tub/shower lever was broken. (you can still take a shower). Overall, the room was chic and comfy. I loved the front porch with the lawn chairs (very comfy), the parking was very convenient. The location was awesome, a short walk to Lincoln Mall (outdoor mall that was open at 10:30pm on a monday night!) and the beach. Tons of shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

The suite was very nice, clean, and in a good location. I could walk to the beach, shops, etc.. The only complaint I had was that the room had no clock or microwave and the stereo system in there was old (it had a tape player), no ipod connection which the room said it had. Other than that I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again! The parking was a good rate for south beach($16/day) and we could easily get to the car and no problem with parking space.

The staff at Nassau was wonderful, helpful, friendly and attentive to our needs. Lilly in particular provided stellar customer service. The room was very clean, convenient, and nicely decorated with all the amenities necessary for a fun time on South Beach. I have absolutely no complaints or reservations about staying at the Nassau. I look forward to my return.

All in all it was a nice spot to be at... Could sit out on the porch and people watch. Nassau is within walking distance to the beach, also shopping and eating establishments a plenty. Housekeeping got to my room rather late in the day but they always apologized and did what they needed to do quickly & efficiently. The extra amenities came in handy for warming up leftovers and keeping drinks (wink wink) cold.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The suite was like a one bedroom apartment with a full kitchen, large refrigerator and microwave oven. Internet connection (Wi-Fi) was fast and free. Best of all they had their own large parking lot next to hotel. The daily charge was $16, which is a great bargain for south beach. The location is only one block from the beach and very convenient to the shopping stores. They also provided free beach towels and chairs. My kids and I loved the place and we are planning to go back soon.

For the price I loved this hotel. perfect location rooms were very nice. we took a girls trip and rented two rooms. they had the rooms right next to each other and the staff was very nice. Very satisfied!
