This was my first time in Atlanta and I had no idea where I would be staying. I am glad I picked the Double Tree. People were friendly and the rooms were excellent!

GREAT stay. Staff was excellent

The hotel was nice but could use a bit of renovating, especially considering the cost compared to the nicer surrounding properties. The furnishings were nice and modern and the location was great. 5 minute walk to MARTA and surrounding restaurants. There is no free parking, only valet.

if you take all the short cuts. Nice enough hotel, friendly staff, close to Marta, restaurants, malls . . . plenty to do. One problem with the room -- and it makes a difference-- there is insufficient lighting in the bathroom. The hotel attempts to use energy efficient light bulbs throughout. However, my husband couldn't shave, I couldn't put on make up and the shower was a lithe frightening. Really, the management should go for the regular light bulbs in the bath.

The Hotel staff was friendly and professional. I was a very early arrival after an extremely long and tiring flight. I was allowed an early checkin into a beautiful, clean and very comfortable room. I was grateful for the kindness of the staff who went out of their way to accomidate me. The hotel was very conveniently located in walking distance from the Buckhead MARTA station and in a beautful location..I will not hesitate to stay here again when I am in the Atlanta area and recommend this hotel highly to my friends..

Hotel and rooms were very nice.

Great location almost next door to Buckhead MARTA subway, hotel great value and a very good area. Washing machine was Out of Order for 7 days, room very nice, staff were fantastic.

The hotel was perfect except for the cleaning of my room every day. The floors in the bathroom had urine stains on them everyday and was never mopped, even after I complained. The sinks were not wiped down every day and there was hair (which wasnt mine) in some of the towels and washcloths. Besides that, the hotel staff and the staff was excellent.

Our trip to this hotel started great! The valet parking and greeters were helpfu, friendly and courteous. However the next early morning, we were greeted with the sound of hammers and workers talking. The hotel is in the middle of renovations. When I tried to ask the housekeeper a question she did not speak fluent English and didn't understand. Another guest at the hotel told me renovations had been in full effect all weekend. We told the desk clerk about the noise and she informed us that renovations were only happening on the first floor. We promptly told her that she was incorrect and renovations were occuring on the second floor. The hotel even provided a sign that stated do not come on this end of the hall due to renovations. Next she said that she would tell her manager. She did not offer us the opportunity to discuss the situation with management. The desk clerk was friendly and very apologetic. But to be awakened by the sound of hammers wasn't acceptable.

Very comfortable, clean and location excellent for our needs, however walls are very thin, was awaken both nights from noise inother room, called security, noise was address

room was next to dumpsters and trucks, very noisy and was our window view. room desperately needs a upgrade-carpets frayed, paint faded and furniture old.

Good location. Thin walls, lots of noise. No high speed internet, charge for Wi-Fi. $20 per day parking, or $25 per day to valet, would've been nice to know prior.

I used the Doubletree as a place to sleep while in town visiting my family for Christmas. The location was perfect, very convenient, the room comfortable - with all the amenities (wifi, large bath, comfy beds). The only drawback was the old-school TV with mostly sports channels. However, since I wasn't in the room most of the time, that didn't matter. What really stood out was the staff - so friendly and welcoming. Very helpful. A great hotel choice!

I love to travel with my dog on road trips and double tree is a great place if you are a dog owner. Very friendly service, great location, very comfie too. the only suggestion is to avoid staying at any of the rooms closest to the highrise next door. Trucks entering and leaving all the time and a bit noisy to be able to relax during the morning or daytime.

The staff was very attentive and went the extra mile. Everyone was friendly and courteous. I was disappointed that everything was an additional charge but there were not notifications explaining. water bottles were placed in the room but nothing stated how much or that there was a charge, internet access was not free and I couldn't find a gym. They were renovating so the main lobby wasn't fully functioning but that was not an issue.

The room looked great but, look a little closer and you will find issues. We were put on the first floor and going to the room was like going into the basement of the hotel. We had to go out of the hotel and around the building to get all of our bags in. I would stay again but, make sure that they don't put me on the first floor.

The hotel was fine but traffic to get to the hotel on a Friday afternoon was amazingly slow. It took us over an hour to drive about 5 miles. The person at hotel check in said that was just the usual traffic. Also, I was surprised by the added cost of $20/day for parking which was about a half of a block away. Guests should also be advised that the parking garage is used on Sunday morning by a local megachurch. It took 30 minutes to get out of the garage on Sunday morning.

The hotel is currently undergoing renovations. Although you can stay in the rooms they are rather dated compared to other doubletree hotels. My stay was very unpleasant. The walls are very thin and you can hear people in the hallway. Additionally, I stayed on the 2nd floor above the hotel valet area. You can hear every conversation and word for word what the valet is saying all night long. The only way to drown out the noise is to put on the old, dated, and very very loud air conditioner. Lastly, the bathroom door doesn't close all the way - which is inconvenient when more than one person is staying in the room. I am usually a fan of doubletree hotels, but I would not recommend this hotel until they are through with renovations....granted that the renovations will fix these problems.

We booked two rooms for three day stay.We were given two end rooms on the 2nd floor overlooking the loading dock and the garbage hopper. The garbage truck arrived at 5am each day and loudly woke us up and the backing trucks then ensured that we could not return to sleep.I mentioned this to the front desk without any comment from the clerk.As a Hilton Honored Guest card holder I was very disappointed and will think twice about Double Trees in future.

Our room met all expectations but the shower head was leaking pretty bad. We notified the staff and they offered to come out right away to fix it. It wasn't a big issue to us since we were leaving anyway, but I was pleased that they offered to come fix it immediately.

A little difficult to locate but awesome location. Very friendly staff. Great room with only minor wear/tear.

The customer service is outstanding. We had some issues with the parking garage and they refunded all of the fees we paid from parking. Be sure to ask about validation of the parking tickets.

Overall it was an enjoyable experience. My only complaints would be low water pressure and they charged my card an extra $50.00 that I haven't gotten an explanation for yet. We did no damage, did not drink the $3.50 bottled water and turned all our card key's in.

Hotel staff was friendly and effecient. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Other than they are going through a lobby renovation the hotel is very nice. The sheets could be a little softer and I'm sure when they finish the renovation all rooms will have flat screen TV's. Location was walking distance to the Marta and lots of shopping near by. I would stay here again.

We were very pleased with this hotel. Staff members were friendly and helpful, and our room was welcoming and comfortable. It was very clean, and hotel linens were a step above the norm. It was a close walk to the MARTA station and the complimentary shuttle service within a 3 mile radius was perfect for us since we flew in and did not rent a car. We would stay here again.

they do a great job considering they are under construction. restraunt and bar were limited.

The stay was great however on both nights we were there we woke up to no hot water in order for us to bath. We had to call downstairs & wait for the hotel to do something about it!!

I have stayed at other Double Tree's and was overwhelmed with how great it was! The Buckhead location does not live up to this!!! It took 3 calls to the front desk to get a simple answer to a questions, and that happened to me twice! I was told I could have a CD player and a fridge for no charge. When I checked in and asked for them, they told me they don't offer CD players and that there would be a charge for the fridge (she didn't charge me because I told her what was told to me at the time of booking). Shuttle was there when they said it would be. Drinks way to expensive in bar.

There was no outlet near the bed to change my phone at night. Also I got a room on the first floor wing that was at the corner and extremely creepy. The carpet was dated and made the room look old. Other than that, everything else was great

Greatt hotel, friendly, helpful staff. Quiet, comfortable room. Good bed. Great location in Buckhead. My one and only gripe is $18 for parking in a suburb of Atlanta.
