Great stay, great staff..

This hotel is located towards the center of the french quarter near the tawdry end. Being a short walk from jackson square I was able to enjoy Cafe Du Monde each morning, The hotel was very clean and orderly. The front desk staff was attentive and my room was comfortable. The limited room service and lack of a mini bar caused me to spend more time out of my room than i wanted searching for snacks , soda and a late night bite.

This is a great Hotel in the heart of the culture. It is within walking distance of everything you need in the French Quarter. It is a 3 - 4 block walk to downton New Orleans. The Service from the staff is world class. I rate this service above Washington D.C. Under NYC and top notch in the south. The staff is experienced with accommodating world travelers. The pool was lovely and the restroom in the pool was excellent. This hotel is for people who expect a connection to cultures that retain their heritage.

Room was a little small. Located a little too near Bourbon Street which is a hole. However, Derek the bellman was a top guy.

We really liked everything about this hotel, staff, room and the location. The only thing that was strange was the plastic lining under our sheets. It felt weird and kind of grossed me out that it was needed.

Enjoyed the hotel. Room service was "closed" after we got back from "Wicked" and we were starving, so that was inconvienent. The room was comfortable, but there were not many channels on the television.

Loved it!! Only complaint was that the mattress on the bed was very hard and had backache from it.

fantastic,will recommend to everybody,we had 3 nights in the OMni Royal before,small room ,and facilities,but the Bourbon Orleans was perfect,and the staff very helpful.

The Bourbon Orleans Hotel made our New Orleans stay like a visit to an old family member - beautiful decore combined with exceptional service and location, gave us the best experience imaginable! We all (6) absolutely loved it!

Great location of a historical hotel right on Bourbon Street. Clean beautiful room and enough towels. The bathroom lacks shelving to put your bathroom things. Our room was small, but comfortable with no view except a peek towards the nice courtyard and the pool, and that was fine for us to have a quiet place to rest being right on Bourbon Street. Would stay there again in a heartbeat for it being right in the French Quarter.

Awesome hotel, awesome location. Right on Bourbon street but down a few blocks from the craziness yet still where the action is. Only complaint was shower head didn't angle far enough out for my tastes

We got a room in the 6th floor and seemed too boxed in for my wife due to the sloped ceiling. I asked to get moved to another room and had no issue with the front desk. Parking in New Orleans is horrible and had to pay for valet parking, but it was cheaper than other hotels. Overall, location was very convenient to all points of interest.

Your hotel is prime spot for walking the French Quarter!!! Just wish your rates weren't so high. We have stayed at your hotel probably 6 times so far...

We were very impressed with the Bourbon Orleans Hotel. The staff were very friendly, the hotel was immaculate and the rooms spacious and clean. The hotel is located in the French Quarter just off Bourbon Street so was close to everything but was not noisy at all. Loved it and would definitely stay again!

Close to all the hot spots Bourbon & Jackson Square area easily accessible. Room was a tad small but it was very nice.

The hotel staff was amazing, especially the front desk and gentlemen working the front door. Every time we left we were wished a good day, and every time we returned we were greeted with a "welcome back." The only disappointment was the attached restaurant and bar, both of which were eerily empty most of the time, despite the bar being located right on Bourbon Street.

Bourbon Orleans is the perfect location to the party scene as well as the relaxed, laid back scene. The pool was a huge plus because it was private, well kept, and plenty of lounging room. It's SUPER close to the French Market area, the Steamboat rides, the JAX Brewery, the Cathedral, and of course, Bourbon Street. The staff is awesome, the hotel is beautiful and the history of this hotel is fun to learn about too. I've stayed at the Monteleone before but I believe I prefer this hotel....it really made our 3 nights a wonderful experience!

The hotel was in a good location. It was close to restaurants and shops and our room was very clean. The hotel staff was friendly.

We live about an hour away, but love coming to this hotel to unwind and relax. Everything is within walking distance. The staff is very friendly.

This was our third year in a row to stay at this hotel. Love this hotel! We will be staying there again next year when we go back for our annual trip to New Orleans.

The hotel was very nice.The week that we stayed there was rainy.My only complaint was no weather channel to help plan our days.

Gio at the front desk was very personable and even booked our dinner reservations when we inquired about a local restaurant. The lobby is a nice place to hang with a drink, which we were treated to with a two-drink coupon they hand you on arrival. Very nice place.

We loved the Bourbon Orleans Hotel, everything about it. It's elegant, charming, comfortable, and perfectly located within the French Quarter. The staff was extraordinary. We would definitely stay there again on future visits to New Orleans.

Good competitively priced hotel - handy for a short spell in New Orleans

I especially liked the gorgeous and relaxing salt water pool. Being at the hotel, so aesthetically pleasing, was like visiting another era.

Located in the heart of the French Quarter so convenient to the attractions and transportation. The Hotel staff was helpful but there was no Concierge service which meant you were on your own to decide what to do. And there is LOTS to do and see in the area. Just to sit in a cafe having coffee and pastry and watching the street is relaxing and enjoyable. The 'glitz and glamor' of the French Quarter and the debauchery of Bourbon Street distracts from the rich cultural and historical presence and importance of the area. Make sure you get a walking tour of the Quarter from a qualified docent and get into some of the historical locales open for visitation otherwise you will miss most of the significant attractions. Yes. There is still some jazz in the Quarter but needs more! Never enough street musicians! (Thought it a 'bit tacky' to have a computerized piano running in a hotel where live musicians abound in the City and need opportunity to make music.) Beautiful colors, always great weather even when it rains!

Excellent place, I could enjoy my quiet room, and focus on work, but I was just a few steps away from the center of it all!! close to great restaurants, bars, music, excellent location. The view from all rooms is great too. I really enjoyed this stay.

We were having a great time until we were rudely woken up at 3am by a lady staying across the hall. She was screaming and shouting. We called the desk and complained after about 5 mins. It took the security guard and a police man over an hour to toss her out. The whole time they were talking loudly in the hallway and keeping us awake. The next morning, we informed the hotel staff of what had happened and they claimed ignorance. The manager said he would call us later that day. It's been a week with no call. When we got home, we realized that we had left a painting in our room. We called and gave them our information and they said they would check and call us right back. They never did. We basically paid $200 to not get any sleep and none of their managers care.
