not the best...not the worst

Would stay here again. I could take the trolley to my conference venue on the university campus (a 15 min trolley ride). Wasn't too expensive for a room of this size either (2 double beds for 4 guests = 500 sq ft kitchen suite).

Everything about the Windsor Suites was great, even the price. The only thing that bugged me was tax on parking. It was $6 of tax on top of $29 per night parking fee.

Ours was an eventful photography visit to the city of Philadelphia. We had a wonderful time, and the hotel's staff was very helpful.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. In terms of cleanliness and friendliness of staff, the hotel far exceeded expectations. In fact, they even let us check in early because they knew we were going to go look at the sites. The surrounding neighborhood is fine. The amenities were great as well, as we had a nice cozy kitchen. Some caution though, this hotel is not as close to the historic district as you may be led to believe. It was a good 40 minute walk to get there. That is fine as long as you are walking around in the daytime, but in the evening, I definitely would not want to be walking that distance.

Very Friendly & Responsive Staff, Clean & Comfortable Room, small lobby area. Hotel location was perfect for us, between the fountains at JFK Square & Logan Square. Everything walking distance, 6 blocks in any direction takes you to West to Fairmount Park & Museums, East to Reading Mkt & City Hall , South to Rittenhouse Sq. Historic Area downtown is a little further, but still all walkable. Only negative - layout of the suite is a bit odd... bathroom is a hike down 2 hallways & past 3 closets from the sleeping area. On the up side, no sleep disturbances from any bathroom noise. Plan bottled water for inroom coffee maker. Overall GREAT Stay!

We reserved a room with a queen bed weeks ago but found we had two doubles because they were out of queens. Check-in was very slow and lobby was very noisy from adjoining bar.

The Hotel was OK... No probelms, just average typical room. Cost was high for accomodations. I guess you are paying for location.

The hotel was very noisy because of renovations. Their reduced rate did not begin to cover how noisy the hotel really was. I was there during the Philadelphia Garden Show so I guess they could not put everyone away from the noise. I am not sure of that. The system of the shower was baffling to me. They sent someone up and they explained it to be wrong. Another engineer came to show me and it worked: a little dribble came out of the shower. I met the worker in the elevator and she brought me a new shower head. Finally a shower after 3 days. Such drama for a shower! There will be more construction later for a parking garage next door. It might be good to check that out and ask for a room away from that end of the hotel or a more reduced rate. $25 reduction did not cover it for me.

I had a very nice time

Staff was courteous and helpful. The room was beautifully appointed and had a lovely balcony. Very close to museums and restaurants. Down side, awful TV.

A little expensive, but we got a good deal. This hotel is awesome, the room we had was like a studio apartment with kitchenette. Fantastic location for Philadelphia sight seeing. Front desk staff also incredibly helpful.

Room maintenance needs improvement. Our room was cleaned, toilet paper not refilled. Bathroom fixtures broken, but working.

There is nothing fancy about this hotel, however, it easily accommodated my family of five. There is ample room for two children on the pullout sofa, and one or two on a cot. A very simple kitchen in the room is very useful for breakfast if you are so inclined. For the price, and in a good neighborhood, I would stay again with my children.

Location is amazing. The one bedroom suite was huge. Kitchen was not very well equipped, no paper towels, limited utensils, etc. We had to wait for an hour and call three times to get sheets for the pull out couch. Parking is convenient.

The Windsor is well located in center city. The parking garage is expensive, especially if you drive a truck or SUV. The rooms are essentially small apartments, with closet space and a full kitchen. The quality of the in room TVs isn't great, they have new TVs but not HD encoders so every channel looks blurry. I have stayed here before and will stay here again.

The room was BEAUTIFUL! I had an amazing time there and I'm not just saying that because my boyfriend proposed to me in the room :)

Clean, full kitchen and centrally located at a reasonable rate. Everyone that worked there was pleasant.

Would definitely stay again: close to downtown shops, on Ben Franklin Parkway (Museum Row) -- debits include not too interesting restaurants/ coffee shops in the building. Room had a simple kitchen which I wasn't there long enough to use, tho it would be helpful for families.

Overall I was very satisfied with the stay. My only real issue is that the tub did not drain when taking a shower, I called to ask for it to be fixed and it was not taken care of. That is why I gave a low grade for Comfort.

The location is terrific, and the suite is large. My problem was with the 'utilities' The shower watrer temperature could not be changed and was too hot for comfort. I mentioned this to the desk the first morning but it was never fixed . When i told the same receptionist about this at checkout she said that she had turned in a work order. Ok, it wasn't her fault but i still got scalded! FOLLOW UP, Management!

Usually stay at a Marriott property when we go to Philly. This hotel is less expensive (including the parking rates) with larger rooms and full kitchens. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Great center city location. Will stay here again and would definitely recommend.

I could not believe how nice this room was. It was larger than my first apartment. Clean, comfortable and spacious.

Rough start with getting into my hotel room, beings though i was only 19. But everything was nice. Nice view, nice desk clerks, even down to the housekeepers. I never ate the breakfast but i could smell the delicious food. It was a great stay i'm planning to go back and enjoy some more.

They had construction going on which was a bit annoying. The over all experience was great just because of the service. They tended to all our needs and in a timely manner....no waiting

Very good hotel and the amenities were also goodThe staff are courteous and there are lot of nearby restaurants . Only flip side is the parking fees which is the case in all nearby hotels ..So that can be discounted

There was maintenance going on when I arrived and the noise in my room was very loud.Hotel staff told me about the work going on when I checked in but it was louder than I thought it would be.Hotel staff apoligized and changed my room to a suite that was great and gave me 2 complimentary breakfasts.Unfortunetly I had to check out early due to a personal call from home.I would definatly stay at the Windsor in the furure.

It was a huge room with lots of space .. The balcony was a great feature

A large room, small but clean and well appointed bathroom. Bed was very comfortable, excellent view. I think the price was low due to construction in the garage, but I'm sure the price will go much higher once the construction is done. Excellent location, walk to plenty places to eat, but the attached Irish Pub had excellent dinner and breakfast. Yes, I would stay there again,and recommend to my friends.

The service was amazing. The concerige was very helpful finding some local stores and banks. He knew where everything was. Even though the room wasn't ready when we got there, they made good with free drinks at the bar.

Bang for my buck the hotel was great. Booked it the morning of my stay drove to Phillie not knowing what to expect of the hotel. Came early and could not check-in but the hotel offered to hold our bags. Paking was under the hotel although it could have been a little less expensive, I guess the low price for the stay evens it out. We could see City Hall from the front of the hotel, perfect for walking to museums. Walking distance from Reading Terminal Market, bars, and other attractions. Was upgraded without a request, full kitchen, gas burners, full size fridge, and walk-in closet. Would Stay here again next time I visit.

the rooms are big but very run-down. Don't believe the pictures on the internet. The staff is friendly but would not trouble themselves to go "above and beyond"

Nice room for overnight stay. Parking was a bit expensive.

Staff very responsive. King room was apartment size with a kitchen essentials and a gas range. Cleanliness was above average. Smallish bathroom recently upgraded otherwise furnishings well worn and may be unacceptable to some. Center city location allowed us to park the car and walk to numerous attractions. Granted our request for an hour extra on our check out time and took advantage of the standard policy on garage check out time of 6 PM on day of departure.
