Pacific Inn Resort & Conference Centre - סורי

Had a HS graduation in White Rock. Just stayed one night. No bellman to help with luggage - had to get the cart, do it myself and then return the cart. Room needed a new mattress and some maintenance, but for one night it was fine. Excellent assortment of small-sized toiletries.

Hotel was too old

I travel to BC 3-4 times per year to see my children. We love to stay here due to the convenience of location to their mother. My children love the pool and how close it is to surrounding children/family friendly things to do. I would highly recommend this establishment.

We have now stayed there twice, and will not stay again. FOr $99. I had expected it not to be so dated and old looking. IT definitely is time for an update. We had also reserved a king bed, but were tokd when we got there thsat we could only have 2 queens.

We stayed here for location. This place is in bad repair, tired dirty furnishings and the person who i talked to at the front desk was probably the rudest , unhelpful sourpuss I have come across in a long time......would have turned around and walked out at that point, but we were with a large group.

We had a good stay, loved the foyer when you walk in ! Would stay again if needed to be in White Rock. Just skip the restaurant. Tried to mention to restaurant manager, but she stood by her food that we threw out.

As soon as we stepped in the front doors we enjoyed the exotic feel of the hotel set up. We had great service. We would go again.

Me and my boyfriend stayed in the traditional room and the paint and linens had not been updated for years. The bed was not comfortable and when we showered it set the smoke alarm off. I would not stay at this hotel again.

The room according to the email sent to me was to be for 5 people with 1 king bed and 2 queens. Arriving we were sent to a room with 2 queens, so we had to get a cot along with. There was an ice maker outside our room that was very noisy every 10 to 15 minutes, which wasn't good for sleep, especially since I had requested a quiet room with extra blankets, which we didn't get either. The bathroom had 2 towels and face cloths, although there were 5 of us, and 1 shampoo, conditioner and lotion. The hairdryer didn't work at all. So, all in all, we were not too happy with our stay.

The hotel for me and the kids was the best, It needs a little updates but overall we had a great time the bufet was amazing and so was the food.

The hotel has a pleasant experience

We enjoyed our stay, the lobby and indoor pool were amazing. Wish we had brought swim suits. There were a couple of issues with the room, leaking sink drain, shorted lamp, and motion detector in the room. When we mentioned these items to the front desk, the made a notation, so hopefully they will be attended to. Overall, it's a very nice hotel, and we would consider a stay there again. The staff were very friendly and seemed to enjoy working there.

The rooms were comfortable and quiet. Every staff member we encountered was so courteous and helpful. Front desk, restaurant and housekeeping. The front desk helped me out in a bind when I had urgent documents to print and all with a smile. The lady cleaning our room was able to suggest places to go with our kids that they would enjoy. The restaurant servers were very accommodating to us and our very picky eaters. Thumbs up!

We stayed at this hotel because we were attending a conference. It certainly is an interesting place, with a nice pool, hot tub and great sauna. The hotel would certainly score some extra points if they changed the carpet out in the hotel rooms and the fitness facility. We were very impressed with the front desk clerk who was super friendly, helpful and willing to meet out needs. She was probably the best front desk clerk that I have seen in a long time and certainly left me with a nice over all impressions of the hotel.

This hotel was a paradox - beautiful common areas, lobby, pools with very clean changing rooms, great restaurants and very helpful staff. The room was an entirely different thing. Tiny, rock-hard beds so bad I had to see a chiropractor after two nights there. The shower head only let out a trickle of water and the bathroom lights blinked constantly. The bedding was very thin and worn, although it seemed clean enough. Only two flat pillows per queen bed. I would not stay there again, although I loved everything outside the room!

The chlorinated swimming pool smell was too strong when entering the hotel.The breakfast not too special. Using individual creamers for coffee is very un-eco-friendly - so much plastic garbage. Noise in the hallways at 1 am. Otherwise, we enjoyed the room and the convenience of the hotel location.

The best thing that the Pacific Inn has going for it is its pool and hot tub, both of which are nice. The staff were also quite friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the hotel itself is long overdue for renovations. Our room was nice, but the bed wasn't particularly comfortable (the mattress was a lot more firm than the average hotel mattress, which I suppose some people would like). Also, the mini-fridge was quite noisy, and we had to unplug it so we could sleep. The only food option in the immediate area is the Pacific Inn's restaurant, "Manyana". First of all, the very name of the restaurant is terrible. A word of advice to Manyana: If you don't think customers will be able to pronounce the word "Mañana" without phonetic spelling, just find a better name. Anyway, the butchering of an exotic-sounding Spanish word is a pretty good metaphor for the quality of their food. Overall, I'd say our stay at the Pacific Inn was pretty okay.

I was disappointed with this hotel - there were teams, I believe, also at the hotel which may have been responsible for late night noise in the corridors and a brief ringing of what sounded like the fire alarm. The room was dirty with cobwebs in the window well and visible along the ceiling, including a live spider behind the curtains. The room gave the appearance of the very basic care & attention. When I brought it to the attention of the front desk at check out time there was no offer of a reduction of the cost, a credit, or any form of compensation for the poor stay. There really wasn't even an apology, just a comment about not knowing why any of those things were happening. I will certainly never be found spending the night there again.

It felt like we were on an exotic holiday at the pacific inn, I loved the open spacious and slightly exotic feel to the grand entranceway and foyer. I also appreciate the consideration given to my mother, a smoker ; they provided us with a room that had access to an outdoor deck where she could smoke comfortably without feeling like she was in exile.

I am unlikely to stay at this hotel again. The bath tub was black on the bottom. I refused to step in for a shower or bath, (room 362) There was no stopper in the bathroom sink. The furnishings were old, well used and very tired looking ... this hotel needs a make over! The king sized bed was hard and pillows quite flat.... overall quite uncomfortable.

Plus: Nice pool, solid Wi-Fi, good TV, clean, restaurant inside (though we did not eat there). Minus: very far from Vancouver, no microwave, uncomfortable pillows.

The hotel itself is beautiful, somebody put a lot of effort into their vision of how they wanted the hotel built years ago. It is well maintained and comfortable. Unfortunately the clerk checking us in was rude and abrupt. She commented immediately that she saw we booked through Expedia and said we should consider ourselves luck that we got such a low rate when the hotel was full of full-rate paying guests. When I mentioned that the website said either pool or mountain view, she snapped back that there's no way we could have a pool view room at the rate we got. She did not offer us the option to pay for an upgrade and we ended up in a freeway view room. The experience was redeemed slightly by us being allowed an early check-in, but the clerk once again mentioned she was doing us a huge favor by allowing an early check-in. Oddly enough, she and another clerk at the desk had no idea that the city's Spirit of the Sea Festival was on that weekend which probably contributed to the fact their hotel was so busy. We may be back, but on the merits of the hotel itself, obviously not the "friendly" service.

Non-Smoking rooms still stink of smoke. Staff and maids especially, were very helpfull. Roof over pool area leaked. For the price per room, this hotel was not even close to worth it.

Functional but could use a little updating, beds somewhat creaky.

This is the first time I have stayed at the hotel and it will certainly be the place for me to stay when visiting family in the White Rock area. The front desk staff are extremely friendly and helpful; the room was large and bright and well appointed. I am sorry I forgot my swim suit!

the hotel was fine....other than the double booking us and us getting locked out of our room.find your own direction because the directions we got from our confirmation email......sent us an hour and a half out of our way.

Although they had a nice indoor pool, they were short staffed at the front desk, no one available for checkin for 10 mins. Found out later that only one person (girl) was working plus a security guard. Room was bad. Bed's not comfortable, one pillow, bathroom door was falling apart, desk lamp switch broken and light bulb socket broken. Very poor quality room.

Very relaxing and enjoyable, My grandson loved the sauna and pool.

Had a great time... pool was fun for kids, very convenient to border for those driving in.... and darn good public transit right out front for way out in the suburbs. Wouild stay again if pricing stays competitive

this hotel is no where near a 2 1/2 star hotel. It was so runned down the lamp shades were brown when 10 years ago they were white. Not worth the money to stay there what so ever. The room its self was so runned dowrm right from the carperts to the closet doors to the paint. The pictures on hotels.com are not what you get when you check into the room. It felt so dirty in the room I didnt want to lay on the bed. I've booked many rooms through hotels.com and been successful, but this one was a disgrace!

Hotel is generally clean but needs some TLC and touch up. Beds are old and sagging. WiFi is slow. Hallways often smell of cigarette smoke. Brunch is tasty and good value. Unfortunately, there are no really good hotels in the White Rock area. We tried staying on the beach and the trains ran all night. We have tried other hotels in the area but none are really nice. The Pacific is a stone's throw from the border crossing, so that makes it very convenient. Front desk staff is very helpful and friendly. Parking is free.

Service was slopw. Under staffed. Pool was nice for the kids. Bathrooms were the smallest I've ever seen.Thought they were modeled after a trip to Japan. Would not stay there again.

We had a great stay. Loved the pool and the restaurant. The service in the restaurant was friendly and prompt, full of laughter and friendliness. Little problem getting towels for the pool and in our room - not sure what happened there but we'll be back and bring some of our own. People were lovely! Thank you for a nice weekend.

good from far but far from good non smoking room smelt like stale smoke cigar et burns on comforter, used condom wrapper on the floor . when i talked to the front desk they said because we paid on line they couldn t do anything pool area poorly keeped and change rooms smelt like musty /mouldy not impressed at all

In a nutshell...I found the hotel a bit "tired" but clean! The front counter staff very very friendly, helpful and gave great resturant advice.

While on initial greeting the reception is very friendly and overall clean, we were overcome by the smell of old smoke in what was to be an apparent 'non-smoking' room. As we came with our child it was a first bad impression. We visited the pool and were surprised to see green slime on the floor beside the pool, abundance of chlorine in the pool and a stink of 'wetsuit' or 'old wet' in the change rooms. We hadn't noticed until our breakfast the next morning that there was a condom wrapper on the floor- thus lost our appetite. The breakfast was fairly decent for powdered eggs, the fruit not so fresh. I would have preferred to give a better review but since no one was actually willing to investigate at the time of our concern, this is what we have to say. I work in an industry where customer service is 100% and based off client satisfaction. I was given the impression that our complaint was an inconvenience. We work hard for our money, why shouldn't you?

Great location, close to the US-Canadian border. The front counter staff were very helpful in recommending a decent Italian Resturant in White Rock.

The hotel was in the perfect location for my business trip. It was central to all my sales calls. The staff I interacted with were all professional and friendlt. I will stay here again.

The hotel is in a very good area. Close to white rock and close to border. It needs a face lift!

The hotel is a bit dated and could do with a change of paint and carpets. Pool and hot tub are excellent, my kids and I spent the whole weekend around the pool. Will definately be staying there again.

Very noisy both from the 99 highway and from the room door that lets in both outside light and noise from the corridor.

We stayed at this hotel, last there 10 years ago there has been very little updating done, paint the same, bathroom old and dated, there were three adults in the room only a couple of towels, we phoned down to the front desk, we never did get them. I went down in the morning and picked them up myself, not impressed.
