Homestead Cleveland - Beachwood - ביצ'ווד

We were informed that housekeeping would be an additional $10.00/night and that we would need to bring towels to the desk for exchange. Hair dryers would also need to be obtained from the front desk. There was one small bar of soap in the room, but no shampoo. The room itself was dated in appearance. Breakfast was coffee and prepackaged pastries.

We were looking for a cheap, clean hotel in a neighborhood where a u-haul of belongings would be safe parked outside. This was a perfect fit. The hotel was bright and clean and the service was excellent. The room was very spacious. Could not have asked for more given what we paid.

The stay was good but it did not have a business center with a computer or printer available.

UN-eventful, just the way I like it. No loud guests or snotty service. Everything was pleasant. Would stay again for the price. Lots of places to eat and it's close to the race track.

If you stay here, I hope your experience is better.

Loved the room, bed and the price and it's close to airport. Will definitely book on next trip to Columbus

All thats missing is a pool.I enjoyed my stay.

Staff wasn't overly helpful and I could never get the room to be a comfortable temperature. However it was clean and very convenient. Based on the price I would stay again

There were no disappointments about my stay at the Homestead. What stands out among all the good things is the wonderful staff! Without exception, they were a warm and friendly crew with true compassion for the issues travelers face. I will return again and again. Bravo!

well, the outside of the building looks nice. lady at the desk was polite. DISLIKES: THE ELEVATOR WAS LOUD AND WASN'T VERY CLEAN, THE WALLS IN THE HALLWAY COULD USE A CLEANING. OUR ROOM HAD WHAT APPEARED TO BE A PU*** HAIR ON THE COUNTER, A LONG STRAND OF BLONDE HAIR IN THE SINK, DENT WITH A RED MARK ON THE FRIDGE AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, THERE IS NO FREE WIFI, THEY GIVE YOU A CODE TO PUT IN YOUR DEVICE TO RECIEVE WIFI BUT THEN IT ASKS YOU TO PAY TO ACCESS IT! THAT IS FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!! Other than those issues, the room was pretty quiet, comfy bed, nice flat screen (limited channels). overall would I stay here again...yes pretty decent!

It was ok for the weekend. With it being a pet friendly hotel they need to check on the rooms after the maids have called themselves cleaning it. Hair on bathroom sink and on floor. I cleaned up after going to the store, but I will consider another place next time I visit Cleveland. My mistake that I didn't pay attention to all the details about what they offer. (about the pets) Don't care for pets in closed environments like hotel rooms. Pets walking around from outside and children leaveing the pools wet and barefooted. Parents beware of the germs they pickup.

This hotel wasn't bad. I guess the best way to explain is "spartan." It is an extended stay hotel so there were some typical hotel immenities they didn't offer, i.e., ice machine. The staff was very helpful an nice. I probably wouldn't stay here again.

Served my purpose. I was satified. The airconditioner was very loud.

It was cool, i had a smoking room and it smelled every bit of it upon walking in. The sheets had holes in them. Other then that its nothing glamour and glitz, at the end of the day its a room with a bed

We were originally booked for 3 nights and left after one! The hotel room was not clean. We had to ask for toilet paper. The staff was very nice, but they couldn't make up for the dirty, dingy room! We ended up going a short distence down the road and paid only slightly more.

It is one of the worse hotels I have seen and not very clean. Service, what little there was, sucked. Never again!

Great value. Quiet and comfortable. No dishwashers in unit.

Hotel staff was nice, but you only get housekeeping ervices every three days because it's an Extended Stay property. Location and price were much lower than surrounding hotels in the area. But the bed was very hard and not good on my back.

Found the following disturbing things in the room: fake fingernail (with painted-on design) stuck to bedspread; chewed up gum on bedstead; dirty coffee carafe (never rinsed out from last guest); faint smoky/musty odor in bedding; shower spray with harsh jets of water, unable to adjust to more comfortable setting. Also, the stained carpets in the hallways had dirt in corners where they met the walls, and the stairs in the back stairwell were covered in debris. The stairwell also had spiderwebs hanging down to face level from the bottom of the satirs going from the second to third floor. That being said, nobody got hurt and it served its purpose for a one night stay. And it was cheap considering the area.

The hotel was clean and in a good location for where we needed to be. Had to wait a good while to get into our room since they only had one person on duty at the time, but we were checking in at about 8:00 on a Tuesday night too. Other than being seemingly short staffed, I've got no complaints. I'd stay there again if the need arose without a doubt.

Comfortable but some pest maintenance needed. No shampoo was included in the room. You have to request. By the time, we were getting ready for a bath, it was too late.

Everything was great from check in to check out. Staff was friendly and attentive. We had been on a redeye flight and needed to check in early. They were accommodating. Would stay again for next visit.

overall it was good--I had a room by the exit door so was woken up every morning by the door slamming -- beds were not too hard (I hate hard beds) - the kitchen stuff was adequate but a little dirty- great restaurants nearby and Whole Foods is 3 minute walk--don't forget to get a pastrami sandwich at Corky and Lenny's!--don't forget that you get a discount for 7 day stay or longer

The stay was fine except the pillows were horrible. If you are going to have that type of pillow you need to put at least 6 pillows on a bed

Great location - Great price. However, bring your own shampoo and conditioner, neither are provided. Dish soap - make sure you ask for it at the front desk. Wireless - two separate access points were down. I had to use a colleagues room to connect. Also, I had to switch rooms as my AC didn't work. A HUGE PLUS is that a Bally's FItness pass is offered to all guests. If it wasn't for that fact, I wouldn't have stayed there.

The hotel stay was very nice and the accommodations and the employees were very kind and curtious. Also making the hotel reservations were quick and easy via the hotel.com call in line.

this could have been the worst experience at a hotel I have ever had. Staff were non responsive, the room was not equipt with anything, and when I asked the desk for said items, I was told they don't have them. However when my husband called in the a.m. another staff asked if we needed the same items! Bed was about as uncomfortable as a floor and the pillows were 1 inch thick. When we asked for additional pillows, we were told they were sold out and therefore had NO PILLOWS. Seriously? Would never recommend this property.

Thin walls. Could hear the couple arguing next door for ~ 2 hours. Found it odd that they supply dishes for the kitchen, BUT NO CUPS - NOT EVEN PLASTIC CUPS. Hallway was freezing cold, yet the room only got cool with the thermostat set at 60 deg.

We had read good and no so good reviews---I have no complains at all about our three day stay!

The lobby reeked of cigarettes. The hallway carpets were all filthy. All room & bathroom surfaces looked like they had been cleaned with the same dirty rag - a layer of smeared grit covered everything. No shampoo in bathroom. Cigarette burns on both bedspreads. Hairs stuck to various surfaces in the bathroom. One wall full of holes and patched with poorly-matched paint. Beds didn't even have skirts covering their box springs. Just a really substandard, gross place.

During the four night stay the room was not cleaned once. I had to request fro toilet paper replacement and then pick it up at front desk. Never again use Homestead

More spartan than I anticipated. Clean and good location, but that's it.

You basically get what you pay for. No problems with the room

I enjoyed my stay there. The only thing is that there was no flexibility in getting a late check out which means I had to take my luggage around with me the rest of the day before I left town. Other than that, my stay was quite pleasant.

The room had a foul odor, bathroom lights were not working & there was no pool as I expected.

The staff was very friendly/helpful, but the hotel itself was not satisfactory, it could definitely use some improvements and could be cleanier. I see why it is rated a two star. There are not a lot of channels. If you are going for a short stay, it maybe okay. Definitely not for a vacation! Take a can of lysol and air freshner.
