I was very impressed with the set up and location of the hotel. Very convenient and relaxing, but apparently the hotel staff are lacking in critical thinking skills. They managed to mess up the dates on my reservation and on my key cards.They sent housekeeping to my room waking me times when I was not scheduled to check out. The third housekeeper didn't even knock. He just opened my door. I tried to come back to my room after the front desk was closed and I was locked out. The phone to call someone for assistance was not working. It took about an hour and a lot of work just to find a staff member.

Very clean and comfortable. Easy check in. Will stay there again as it's a great quality room for the price.

The hotel was okay however unless I was receiving a special offer I would not seek out this hotel for a future stay; I have stayed in other hotels for about the same price with better service and amenities.

I awlays stay here when going to New York City. Very convienent to South Norwalk Train station and Metro North service to NYC. Lots of services nearby.

Receptionist was very polite...and helpful.Overall,I enjoyed my stay.

This was a short-term notice and one day stay. Between hotels.com and the Extended Stay of America all my needs were met in a very kind, friendly and helpful way. The staff assisted me in all the directions I needed and the establishment was clean, comfortable and attractive. Again, the staff was outgoing and friendly and I look forward to staying there again for a more leisurely trip.

Hotel has a good location and service was great

Everything from check in to check out was great! I would recommend that if you like more than one pillow you ask for one at the front desk upon check in. Queen bed only had 2 pillows.

I've been here several times, because of the low cost and that other hotels in the area were booked. The walls are generally very thin, the beds not very comfortable, and the blankets are, well, synthetic feeling. In the past, I've had to change rooms because the toilet didn't shut off or the room had trash. This time, though, there was no hot water in the morning. The exercise room equipment didn't work well. I go to Norwalk often and will try to stay anywhere else if at all possible.

Convenient and appropriate for the economy rate

Its a hotel....nothing more...nothing less. The rooms could use some updating but they were clean and that is the important thing.

My boyfriend and I spent a Saturday night at the Homestead. The first room we checked into was dirty (towels on the floor, bed not made etc.). The second room was clean, but I was less than impressed. We were just looking for a room for a night, and that is what we got. The bed wasn't comfortable and the towels were extremely thin. It is an extended stay, so our room had a full sized fridge, microwave and stove top burners. On the way out, we saw a family checking in with a huge dog that was almost my size. All in all, for the price I would spend the extra $20 or $25 dollars and stay elsewhere. I will not be returning.

This hotel was great! After a stay at a more expensive hotel which was a total nightmare, this hotel was very clean and above satisfactory!!! Great staff, local yummy dining, beautiful hill top hotel to stay at... I will visit here again for sure!!!

Pretty nice place. Very nice people. No pots or pans, however...so not sure why it is considered "extended stay"..maybe that was just a mistake in house cleaning.

My stay way good! Second time there and I plan on making it a regularl stop.. I'm a truck driver and need place to stay most weekends and I think I found it!! Your front desk personal where very friendly and helpful ...

The mattress was old and bumpy. The room had no bar soap when I arrived. The tub did not drain when I showered. The fitness equipment squeaked too loudly to use. Upon arrival, the person at the front desk did not acknowledge for a long that I was standing there. Not even a simple, "I will be right with you."

Full kitchen is a great plus. Very comfortable rooms.

It is excellent for a small suite/kitchen type hotel. We have used them before for a wedding and will do so again.

Rate was good and space was available, but the shower needed a really hard scrub on the walls and the TV had poor reception. It was a basic setup with a basic kitchen, and pretty quiet except for the occasionally barking dog. Not a problem for us. Booked at hotels.com for less than half the posted rate.

The hotel was fine for our purposes, since we were visiting family in the area and it is the only one which seems to allow pets. I think it is overpriced for what you get and I do resent paying an additional $25.00 a night for our dog. I realize it is an extended stay place, and that maid service is not offered daily, but trying to locate someone to get extra towels or coffee packs wasn't easy. They also offer WiFi, which didn't work at all during our stay.

A great, simple, clean hotel that welcomes pets. Stayed a night here while on the road - convenient location just off highway. Quiet, friendly staff. One caveat - not clear if the WiFi is free - tried to charge me for access when I checked in, but when I questioned the charge, I was given the code for free.

This place was great the staff we really nice and the face that they had a a place to cook was awesome I will be staying here everytime I book a room in CT.

Room was spacious & comfortable. Was rather upset with the new check out policy, which was instituted 2 months prior to our stay. When I called to inquire about a late check out because of a bicycle tour for 'Safe kids of Fairfield County' the staff did not tell us there is an additional fee imposed beyond their scheduled check out time. I have stayed here in the past & would have liked to shower after the event, but we would not have been given the courtesy based on their new policy. I was very angry & dissapointed & probably will not be back again.

Mirrored closet door came off track, no maintence on the weekend. All kitchen cabinets felt greasy to touch on the wooden pull handles. Issue not addressed by housekeeping. Out of coffee for the week. I brought tea as back up however front desk clerk , Jessica, offered to bring in some coffee from home for me. Very nice of her to offer. Overall great location and comfortable room.

Bare minimum. No teaspoons for coffee. No decaf so had to ask (front desk was very helpful). Pillows too soft but no extras available. No shampoo in bathroom and I forgot mine. No dishwashing detergent so had to leave the cups, saucers, etc.
