Best Western Mornington Hotel - לונדון

Great location near Kensington Garden, close to Paddington train and Heathrow Express and tube stations.Room was small but more than adequate for a short stay.

Fairly priced as I booked the room on the same day as check-in. Comfortable and clean rooms. Breakfast a bit expensive at £12,50 each, though.

The room was too hot, temperature control did not help. Even turned it off. Being an internal room, the window opened onto the kitchen exhaust ducts, so in the morning it get some of the odors. Left a day early, asked if a refund would be possible if they re-booked the room. We were told no. I don't mind paying for the room, if it stays empty, but it is not fair if they can resell it.

They don't really have working internet here. Don't plan on updating facebook or doing any email or getting any work done at all. They don't seem to understand the Internet or its role in a traveling person's life.

The hotel was in an excellent location, close to Hyde Park and easily walkable to Paddington Station so easy access to Heathrow. Price was very reasonable and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Room was compact, yet comfortable. Location convenient to Hyde Park and Paddington, but not too noisy. Free WiFi a bonus

I really liked this hotel. It was relatively inexpensive, great location, really nice decor/tastefully done up, good amenities.........recommend it for sure......

ok place, like many places in London, the building was old!! The rooms were small but the twin beds were comfy! A ten minute walk to bus or trains!

Great location and neighbourhood....good value for money and clean bedding. But for some reason on the second day of my stay room service was poor and they did not bother to wash mugs and left bathroom in shambles including towels on the floor and cleaning liquid spray bottle left behind !

The hotel was great! The location was easily accessible to Paddington and Lancaster Gate. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall we were very happy with our hotel selection. I was a little worried that it was a Best Western because those aren't so great in the US, but this one in London was just what we were looking for!

I chose the Best Western Mornington Hotel based on it's prior reviews and wasn't expecting too much from a BW based on US experiences. How wrong could I be! From the friendly welcome, to the excellent breakfast and exceptional service, this was a great stay. Pros: Location is a quick 5 minute walk to the Tube, there's two pubs and a number of restaurants within 5-10 mins. Breakfast buffet. Great! And the service was top notch. Cons: Rooms are "London small" - (I had a standard double) - which means big enough for a business trip, not at all for a family... Overall: If I need to be close to our office in Oxford Circus again, on a budget, this would be my choice. Great experience, and most importantly, friendly staff.

Would have rated this hotel much higher, but the manager was rude, Unattentive and unreasonable. Flights cancelled out of the tristate area due to winter storm for 2 days and they wouldn't allow us to extend our stay OR reimburse us for the lost days. But the hotel isn't sold out? "Sorry, you need to make reservations months in advance". Which we did. It's a Best Western, not the Four Seasons.

I think the title says it all -- there are so many hotels in London to choose from and our decision to select this one was based on our satisfaction with another recent visit. It won't change your life -- it's simply all you might wish from a London hotel: great location; clean, comfortable room; generous, tasty breakfast. And for the quality and the neighbourhood, it's reasonably priced

Pleasant Hotel and relatively modern fittings. Single Room very small with the bed filling the room. Room was in the basement and suffered from external noise from before 6am

Clean, well functioning room and super friendly, helpful service - the Mornington is great. Be warned - the rooms are tiny, so if I was traveling with my husband, it'd be a tight fit (I was in a standard double), but as a single business travel it did the trick. Close to the tube, right off Hyde Park - pure lovely. The free WiFI is terrible, which was wildly frustrating, but that's the only quibble. Oh, I didn't eat there, so I can't speak to breakfast or any food.

Very convenient to Paddington station. Very helpful staff. Couldn't ask for a better stay.

We stayed here just a few nights, but really liked our stay. The staff was not overly-friendly, but they were not rude. The rooms were clean and we enjoyed the free wi-fi. There is also a computer and gym downstairs that we were not told about but discovered on our last day. The front desk did loan us an umbrella for a day which was VERY helpful. The bed was bigger than we had expected, but not very comfortable. The area is safe, but didn't seem to be too much to do in that area. Very short walk to the Tube/bus. We would recommend this hotel!

Took advantage of a new year hotel sale and for the sale deal this hotel was great! Perfect for central London holiday and nice rooms with typically size for a central London hotel. Good bars and restaurants nearby as well as great transport options. However, with full price cost not sure I would fork out for it.

It's easy to reach the hotel from the tube stop, Lancaster Gate, but the surrounding neighborhood is just residential so no interesting shops or restaurants. There are no extra services like room rare ice, mini bar, porters but the low price (for London) reflects this.

We have no problem with our stay. Staff was very polite and efficient.

Nice clean hotel. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. We will stay again. Near a tube station and close to central London

Very enjoyable stay! Check in was warm and pleasant. Arrived to room which although very small was perfectly acceptable as there was no intention to spend any time in there. It was modern, clean and bright! Had one quick drink in the bar that evening whilst waiting for my good lady and service was very pleasant. £4.80 for a large glass of wine - absolutely reasonable for a hotel. In fact, I'd say - very good for a hotel, I've paid more in bars! Didn't have breakfast so can't comment. Public areas are also very nice.

very good experience overall as we heeded previous guests recommendations and requested a room on an upper floor in order to avoid noise problems associated with lower floors. The staff were very friendly although not one appeared to be a true Brit- not a problem for us but we wonder about the unemployment problem in the UK.

Past reviews mentioned that the rooms were tiny, which for me wasn't a problem. Was only in London for one night, the room was spotless, bed was large and service was pretty good. Would definitely go back again

Bayswater/Hyde Park area is both pretty and convenient. The hotel was less than 5 minutes from a tube stop so commuting was easy. The hotel was kept up nicely and the room was clean. No issue.s

Small hotel with few amenities, but in a really convinient area. The pub around the corner offers decent food. Would stay again for convinience, but rooms are small. Breakfast was ok.

I liked this hotel. The room was small, but that is to be expected in London. There was no mini fridge which would have been nice. Good free wifi, and nice breakfast. The desk staff were very helpful, same for the breakfast staff. The location could not be much better.

I thought I was overcharged for the size of the room we stayed in. I don't think this Hotel deserves even a 3 star rating. Additionally, the concierge service was unavailable. The so called "free internet" would crash most of the time. This is a very expensive hotel for the quality of service and size of rooms.

Was ideal for a busines trip, walked through hyde park in the morning rather than stay at the more expensive knightsbridge side.

The hotel's location was perfect for a one week visit inside London. A small but very convenient hotel with better than basic services. The w-fi in the room was a great help. I do suggest however that the breakfast should be included in the room's price. The staff was friendly and helpful. I felt myself in this hotel almost like at home.

Adjoining neighboring building next door is doing major renovations - so be prepared to wake up to shaking of your room from construction next door

Friendly welcome, clean, stylish and comfortable. Great location. Room was luxurious, with mezzanine floor for bed, and very comfortable. Layout was wierd e.g. no table to put coffee cups on in sitting area. Bathroom was lovely, but shower would suit someone 5 inches shorter than me. Several light bulbs, a main light switch and the bedroom TV didn't work. Very comfortable bed, nice hotel, I'd use it again.
