Hotel Saint Nicolas - לה רושל

Room was perfect, bathroom was sparkling clean and bed was firm enough to provide a good night's sleep! Parking is available onsite and breakfast was yummy!

What a beautiful place and the hotel was very good. Good location within walking distance of the town. Great food and nice people.

Great hotel. Friendly service with comfortable modern rooms. The breakfast was also very good. Only downside was limited parking although underground car park 5 mins away was less than €10 for the night

Great, the Hotel was clean and the room was spacious, even though we had a double bed and single bed in the room. We got the bus from the airport to the bus station in the center, then it was a 10/15 minute walk to the hotel, we followed google map and it was easy to find.

We will absolutely return. A very well executed modernisation of an old building. Brilliant way to use an arboritum to separate the carpark from the common area/reception. Very quiet but within 5 minutes from the bustling of the centre. The bed was of exceptional quality. The staff was efficient but not ingratiatingly so.

Great city and ideally located hotel

We only stayed at this hotel for two nights but it was a very good choice. Good location with restaurants close by. The staff were very friendly and spoke very good english and were very helpful. The breakfast was excellent value for money. I would not have any hesitation in recommending this hotel to any of my family or friends and would stay at this hotel for more than a few days if we were to visit La Rochelle again.

A pleasant hotel, well located, with friendly staff. Parking available but needs to be reserved beforehand. Our room was on the front of the hotel overlooking a small square on a Saturday evening, and we were kept awake by people talking outside until the early hours - if you need your sleep, it might be better to be based away from the square. However, a good location for sight-seeing during the day.

It was my second time there and I would not consider another hotel.

A pleasant comfortable hotel, centrally located just off the old port. Staff were very helpful, and there was car parking available (pre-book).

The hotel was extremely well positioned for access to old town, harbour, bus station and railway station. The staff were very friendly - no fuss on check in, no requirement for passports etc. The room was very quiet as it was at the back of the hotel (longer stay guests benefit from this), breakfast was adequate with a fairly good selection although the toaster did break down and was not replaced very quickly. Could not be faulted in any way.

Great hotel in a very central location. Spotlessly clean with a well stocked buffet breakfast, we would definitely stay here again.

great hotel overall, very nice greenhouse style breakfast room, good breakfast, excellemt service. Location is very good although the one-way street system can be maddenning when trying to get to the hotel in a car. It took us about half an hour of circling around until we managed to get into the right street. The room was nice and clean although not very large, the bathroom was excellent. Would recommend to stay in this hotel.

A most pleasant experience. A very nice comfortable hotel which is very good value for money. Helpful, friendly staff and very clean. The hotel is centrally positioned and there's a super wine bar round the corner!

The room was very clean and the interior design was thoughtful and attractive. For me, the major downside was their attitude which I found was penny pinching, unfriendly and superior. I won't go into details but I would not recommend it to a friend.

Excellent location. Close to the Port. Spotlessly clean. Room small but bed comfortable. Parking awkward because we didn't know we had to reserve in advance. Supervised Parking near enough but closes at 9pm. Friendly staff. Overall, highly recommended.

Très joli hôtel , mais un accueil froid et distant . La chambre un peu petite pour le tarif . Sinon , une propreté irréprochable, malgré des rideaux qui mériteraient être changés.

Bien en tous points de vue, bon petit dejeuner, personnel avenant. Si je devais formuler une critique, il manquait 1 ou 2 m2 dans la salle de bain. Les wc à part aurait aussi été un plus.

Les services proposés & les dimensions de la chambre sont très (trop) standards. Nous n'avons pas pris le petit déjeuner car nous trouvions son prix trop élevé, voire injustifié. Cela nous a permis de voir la ville plus tôt le matin. Par contre bien que payant, nous avons apprécié le parking. Ayant dû dormir souvent hors de chez moi pour des raisons professionnelles, je me rends compte que quel que soit la région maintenant, il y a une uniformisation de l'ensemble des catégories hôtelières & je le déplore. Le personnel à l'accueil est agréable & très professionnel. Globalement satisfait de mon séjour.

Beaux volumes dans la chambre 503 que j'ai occupe. Pour voyager souvent en France et a l'etranger, cet hotel est acceuillant, tres propre et probablement renové. Le mobilier est simple mais pratique. Le lit est confortable et l'hotel est bien situé en plein centre ville. Le petit dejeuner est sympa avec des produits locaux et bien choisis! A prendre les yeux fermés.

excellente impression générale, difficile de trouver un argument pouvant altérer cette impression générale,une suggestion toutefois une glace spéciale pour le rasage des messieurs serait la bienvenue

Hôtel parfaitement placé dans un quartier calme et central, chambres parfaites, climatisées et meublées avec goût, bonne literie, petit déj copieux et excellent : je suis enchanté de ce séjour et conseille vivement cet hôtel.

La Rochelle e' un gioiello poco conosciuto da noi italiani, non si capisce perche'. L'Hotel Saint Nicolas e' perfetto per l'ubicazione centralissima e particolarmente piacevole per il buon gusto dell'arredo, un perfetto mix tra il design contemporaneo e alcune scelte evidentemente fatte negli anni '70-'80. Personale gentile e disponibile, colazione varia ed abbondante, insomma, il soggiorno perfetto! Unico neo la mancanza del parcheggio, ma e' normale in un tessuto di stradine cosi' fitto.

Très bien à tout point de vue, seul le petit déjeuner n est pas exceptionnel

Oppholdet har vært kjempefint, hotellet ligger i rolig strøk og perfekt avstand til sentrum. Vi kommer til å reise dit igjen og bestiller gjermne samme hotell. Vi hadde også vært der en tur i juni og vi fikk til og md samme rom denne gangen. Noe vi hadde satt opp som et ønske. MEGET fint opphold.

Tres agreable hotel, super bien place pres du port et tres bon buffet de petit dejeuner.

Petit dej copieux prit dans la verrière. Sympa. Petite déception sur la taille de la chambre. Accueil chalereux et personnel serviable et arrangeant.

il n'y a pas de parking privé ! l'hôtel partage un parking avec d'autres hôtels mais pas à proximité. du coup il vaut mieux se garer au parking souterrain de la ville. moins cher au final mais compter au moins 15 mn de marche ! pas facile si vous oubliez quelque chose dans la voiture.

La propreté de la chambre était sans discussion, c'était nickel. La qualité du service était bonne, Wifi disponible, possibilité de réserver des restaurants avec l’accueil, emplacement de l’hôtel idéal, bref je recommande vivement.

Bra rum, lite små men fräscha. Bra läge i stan med kort promenad till hamnen. Frukosten mycket bra. Ett hotell att rekommendera.
