Super 8 - Fenton/St. Louis Area - פנטון

I am not sure the sheets had been changed. There were hairs and debris on the sheets. The faucet needs replacing. The towels were terrible. I stay over 100 nights a year in hotels this was by far the bottle of the barrel.

You get what you pay for. The rooms were very outdated, dirty and smelled. I will pay more to not stay here again

We asked for a non-smoking room, but the room reeked of cigarette smoke. The sheets and comforter were so dirty looking one didn't want to sit on them....and don't even get me started on the bathroom.

Smelled dreadfully of smoke, and when we changed to ANOTHER non smoking room, it was just as bad.

This was probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. First of all, the hotel is right next to the highway and it felt like we were in the ghetto. The first room we were put in smelled like a chain smoker lives there when its not being rented out. Next door someone had a dog that wouldn't stop barking and whining. The walls are so thin I thought it was in our room. We had them change our room. The second room had that same "great smell" plus just outside the room it smelled like pot. It looked like all the furniture came from a thrift store. Everything was beat up and old. There weren't any end tables. The electrical cords on the two bedside lamps that were mounted to the wall were spliced together with wire nuts and electrical tape. I thought the place might burn down so I unplugged them. The only towels we had in the room were two wash clothes and a hand towel. I usually keep a handgun in my car, I felt the need to keep that with me in the room. It was so late when we checked in we decided to stay one night then go somewhere else and get a refund.

Very friendly staff...best part of the hotel. Rooms were ok, but I will say the inside of the rooms look a lot better than the outside of the hotel. Once we were inside of the room, we saw that the microwave and tv were on its last leg. There were no washclothes in the room and the blankets/comforters were TOO THIN and scratchy.

Just plain horrible. Filthy rooms, blood on clean bed, dirty sheets on clean bed. Never again will I stay at a Super 8.

One of our beds, room 109, was completely broke down and I had to share a bed with the other guest in my room. There weren't enough towels and coffee and clean sheets were too much to ask for.

Stayed for a short while. Off of Highway with lot of noise. Pretty old Linen. No Exhaust in the Bathroom. Getting to the hotel is tricky, it is a Run down Motel. Electronic doorway key has to be corrected everyday to get into the room. Breakfast is OK, Onsite staff are good too. If you find a better one for $5 or $8 more go for it. I personally would not recommend it , if you are staying for more than couple of days.

The motel was old and has definitely seen better days, but the room was clean and comfortable. This was the least expensive motel I could find in the St. Louis area and it was perfect for our purposes (in town for one night to see Paul McCartney). The free breakfast (including fresh waffles) was pretty good too.

Cheap. Comfortable bed. Great staff. Right off the highway. Cracked toilet that pinched to sit. .

This was a cheap place to stay. The bed was comfortable and there was cereal, waffles, juice and coffee in the morning. If you are like me and all you want is a place to sleep and a quick breakfast before you leave in the morning, this place was fine. Conveniently located just off the exit about 15 minutes from downtown.

Old looking. Felt dirty . Inexperienced desk help didn't know how to do check in paperwork.

This hotel is kinda out of the way and a difficult to navigate if you are using it as a base of operation and making lots of trips in and out. Was a little disappointed that there was no hot water in the morning to take a shower. Not that it was cold; it was just warm and not an inviting wake up to the day.

This place was with in our price range, yet was surprisingly clean, comfortable and the people were helpful and very nice to work with. The beds were OH! so comfortable, and we were pleased to see the coffeemaker and the small refrigerator! Since we are in St Louis area the same weekend every year, we plan to book here again!

Have already filed a complaint.

First two rooms sliding locks didn't work (the second room wouln't have mattered as the sash was loose and window had a major crack ) . Third room door would lock . Dirt and trash between bed and nightstand. Large console between end of bed was shabby and served no purpose except to obstruct passage between bed and wall restrictive. Wife would not shower as tub was old and shabby . Could not refuse stay because we prepaid and cancellation was not an option . Desk person tried to please

My room was clean enough, but my friend's room had water and hair on the bathroom floor. . .ugh. Since each room only gets one towel, there was no way to both soak up the water AND take a shower (or dry your hands) without calling someone to bring you another towel. Whole hotel seemed chintzy & penny-pinching. The TV had a banner across the screen warning that if someone didn't pay the bill, the hotel was going to lose its satellite TV sevice. . .classy. Breakfast was gross and very limited. There WAS a waffle iron, but everyone was so desperate to make one that it was never available. Lobby seemed dirty througout--sticky, steaming hot with a weird smell. Nice aquarium, though. I've stayed in cheap hotels that didn't ' seem cheap...this one definitely did. I hope to never go back.

The hotel was fine. It is a inexpensive place to stay and it was clean. They did have a shortage of help the day we checked in. We did not have any towels in our room, went to the front desk where the lady working was busy folding laundry. She gave me the towels we needed and said that she was sorry and they were doing laundry constantly. She was very friendly and helpful! We were there for 3 nights they came in everyday and emptied the trash. We really did not need anything else. It is not a bad place to stay if you are not in the room a lot. Very close to many different places to eat.

I expected to get a low budget room for the price, BUT........the room smelled awful, even after 11 nights burning candles and leaving baking soda in the room the whole time. The TV reception was the worst.......I received about 5 channels that I could see with out static. They didn't clean my room every day and if they did they didn't give me new towels. The ONLY redeeming quality was the bed was actually comfortable.

The hotel seems to need a major wipe down and fixing up. Toilet kept flushing all night. Carpet needs some cleaning. Bathroom door did not latch. No towels until requested. The front desk however was very helpful in providing what was needed. Continental breakfast was good.

Nice little hotel for the price. Great desk staff. No complains here.

Fortunately we didn't stay. We checked into our room to find that both beds were not made. Neither bed had any sheets on them and had the blankets and comforters thrown on top of the beds. To top it off, the room smelled like cat urine. Building looked like it was in need of major renovations. Would NOT recommend staying there at this time.

I didn't even stay because within 20 minutes of arriving I had been given a room that was already occupied, and a dog tried to attack me when I opened the door. After listening to the front desk attendant curse about it I was given another room that smelled foul and had a roach infestation. The attendant also had her child at work with her and was completely rude. I will never even consider thus as a place to stay. I was more comfortable sleeping in my car. I was also told there was no refund I could have, even after all that.

The pool was filthy. The alarm clock didn't work. The phone did not work. I had no towels the 1st night & had to hunt some down for the second night. My last morning I found a large roach in the bathroom. This motel is located among abandoned warehouses. My reccommendation is to go to the next exit where there are better motels- a little more expensive but well worth it. All of the restaurants are also at that next exit.

The hotel was clean the breakfest was good the rooms was good but aged but they was very clean. It was very close to all the sight we went to ,Zoo,6 flags,Arch,Ballfield and shopping(12-16Miles).

It's ok just to go sleep

I will admit that the staff was ultra friendly, however I would not recommend that anyone stay here. My room smelled of stale cigarettes. The TV only had 7 working channels and they were all fuzzy. You had to operate the TV w/o the remote as the remote was missing the back and had syrup on it. Pillows at the hospital were better than the ones in the room. There was loud noises throughout the night as well as you could hear the sounds from the highway very well.

This hotel was o.k. We didn't have any problems. Everything went fine, but it wasn't the Hilton either. Fine hotel for the price. We would stay again if in the area.

Staff was friendly and breakfast was good for a family who does not do a large breakfast. We liked our stay.

The staff was great. Very pleasant and helpful. We did not have enough towels in room and once notified the staff immediately took care of situation. The rooms were very clean. The only negative comment I would have would be that they need to fix the ceilings in rooms. Carpet was in great shape and bathroom was very clean. We would definitely stay there again.

This Hotel does not meet Motel 8"s standards at all I'm sure. The room was very musty the bathroom faucet was literally melted. There was a plug-in with no face plate and that was where the TV was plugged in. We had a nonsmoking room and the comforter on the bed had a burn in it as well as the chair. When we were packing I was checking the room and found dirty clothes that were not ours in the chair, so not much cleaning going on, and the beds where as hard as a rock. I did not expect the Hilton but I did expect Motel 8's standers all we needed was a place to sleep and well when we arrived home we slept for over 16 hours. Overall never going back.... The nicest thing I can say is the coffee was good if you don't mind walking across the parking lot to get it.

Although it says free breakfast, dont count on much. Ran out of milk, syrup, and other things. Very amatuer

IT WAS GREAT, IT WAS 10 OR 15 MINUTES FROM EVERYWHERE WE WENT TO VISIT, SIX FLAGGS, ZOO, GRANTS FARM.

i wouldn't take a dog there. We got there at 3:00 for check in time and it was 5:00 before we got a room. Staff was rude. The cleaning people had there kids there while they were cleaning jumping on the clean bed. Pool was nausty no clean water it was dirty and unable to swim. One room had and air condition working. finally at midnite someone came with a new one. ASked for towels was told they didn't have any to give who do you take a shower? would i go back NEVER!!!!

They need to do better with the supply ot towels There wasnt any face towels and not enough bath towels when I arrived. I cared less to hear about people stealing them or the dryer was broke, you are a business that suppose to have these items for your customers other than that it was a ok stay.

adequate, but just barely. Was primarily there to go to Six Flags. Had clean good beds Pool was dirty . Maid did not make up the beds one day. It was cheap and I feel we got about what we paid for.

Check in was at 3:00pm room was not readt till 4:30. No hot water to take a shower, room had a roach in it. Was told there would be a microwave no microwave had to keep asking for it, finally got it. No towels in the room had to ask for towels. Just a horrible hotel will never stay there again.
