Baymont Inn and Suites New Orleans - ניו אורלינס

The room was nice. The ac was cold. The shower was hot. There was a fridge and microwave which I liked. Overall it was a good stay for me. It rained heavily both days I was in New Orleans so I didn't get out to see much but the room was comfy enough to enjoy a lazy rainy day.

For the money, this was a great place. The hot breakfast had a lot to choose from, and was good. The staff was friendly. The fitness room was nice. Too cold for the pool, but the area looked well kept. The location was right next to the interstate, so it was easy to get around. I only had one small issue, the bed was not made by housekeeping because my toddler's blanket was on the bed. I thought that was a little odd. Overall, good experience. Would stay there again on the next trip to New Orleans.

I have never been more disappointed in a Motel in my 67 years of life. These are the issues I confronted: The Parking lot was flooded, the room reeked of mildew, there was actual mold on the bathroom wall, the shower handle pulled completely out of the wall, the toilet was cracked and patched with caulking, the toilet was filthy and unclean able with stains, the bath tub glazing was chipped and had rust. If this is a 3 star property then the persons who rated it should pay a re-visit. I could not check out early enough in the morning. I will never stay at a Baymont Inn again if this is typical.

Nice hotel, nice friendly staff, but it is not pet friendly like the site says. Found this out after the first night. They let us stay for two more nights. Too bad, really enjoyed our stay

Neighborhood wasn't to good but very nice and friendly staff

Good place to stay. Went for a girls weekend. GREAT breakfast, lots of choices. Staff friendly.

For the price it was worth it.

The maids neglected to clean our room two of the three nights we were staying over. The door lock to our room only worked after up to six failed attempts to use the keycard. The front desk person who checked us in was upset that we asked her help to enter the room. The 'free' breakfast was absolutely disgusting -- dried up, tasteless, and stale. The location is not near anything but we knew that when we chose the place based on it price. Stayed at another Baymont Inn on this trip in Tupelo, MS, which was worlds apart and much better than the New Orleans Chamber of Horrors.

The staff was nice, the breakfast was good. The location was not central to what we were there for, but we made it work. I would stay again though. Oh it had a great view of Six Flags New Oleans from the 4th floor.

Room had visible water damage on ceiling. Phone did not work. No cold water in the morning. Internet service so slow could not print boarding passes.Appeared to be mold growing on walls in bathroom. Hotel may still be suffering from the effects of Hurricane damage.

Cons: This hotel was not what it seems online. The check- in went smoothly; however, entrance to the room was horrible. The room had a funny odor and caused my nose to itch and my sister to sneeze uncontrollably. It seemed there was moisture in the air, so the rooms should have a humidifier installed. We were switched to a room down the hall smelled a little better, but there wasn't a shower curtain. The rooms need to be updated immediately! I also encourage the place to be inspected for mold. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone I loved!!! It's in the run down side of New Orleans. Pros: It's easy to find and is directly off I-10 East on the service road. It's also close to the Lakefront Arena. There's free complimentary breakfast and checkout is at noon.

Well, when we checked in there was no room number on the door. Then upon entering the room, the room looked as if someone just left out of the room prior to us arriving. There were towels on the floor in the bathroom, the sink was dirty, the bed had not been made, trash cans had not been emptied, and it smelled of smoke. So then went to the front desk and they were able to place us in another room but it pushed our plans back due to having to wait for another room.

I decided to stay here because it was inexpensive and close to the start of the New Orleans Half Ironman. When I pulled up to check-in and got out of my car, the hotel looked nice but there was a definite smell of 'weed' roaming around the parking lot. I'm guessing it was probably due to it being 4/20? The lady at the front was courteous and the room was nice and clean. The bathroom, however, I think they forgot to clean. Also, the water did not drain very well in the shower and there was only one water tempeture for the shower which happened to be boiling hot! Overall, it was ok to stay here for one night but not sure I would stay any longer than that.

Multiple problems regarding room and facility. Condition of the premises is poor. While the facility and room are not out-dated, hotel cleanliness and room maintenance need major improvement to be considered acceptable.

Lets start with the positive. The bed was fine and the sheets were clean. The room had plenty of space. The nonsmoking room at one time must have been smoking because even though there was a no smoking sign on the door the first thing you smelled was smoke stink. We stayed 2 nights and the 2nd morning we opted out of taking a shower because the water only had one temp. HOT there was no cold or cooler or warm. The shower rod was hanging by one screw on each side which made the rod sag and impossible to close the curtain on either side. Breakfast was awful! The attendent was too busy standing in the dirty prep room with the door open leaned over the counter messing on her pink phone. The powdered scrambled eggs were way over watery, sausage was under cooked. The room was full of about 30 people and the biscuts and oatmeal stayed empty. The 4 apples available were shriveled. The only thing that might have been good was the fresh waffles you make yourself but the line was so long I didn't wait. There was nothing for someone who might try and be healthy. Bread, bagles, juice, and coffee. No water was available. Needless to say we picked at our eggs and sausage and decided to eat elsewhere. The attendant who checked us in was too busy eating her dinner at the desk to have any pleasant conversation just here's your key.

Overall the hotel was nice. It's right off the interstate and I was afraid we'd hear a lot of traffic noise, but we did not. It was actually very quiet. The room was very clean. The only negative thing I can say is that one of the wash cloths looked as if someone had used it to clean the sink, then wrung it out and hung it to dry. One of the bath towels had holes all through it. And even though there were 3 people in the room, we only had 2 towels total.

Was rushing to see NO HORNETS play La CLIPPERS. Gave my name n got my keys. Room was clean n spacious

Hotel was great. Great hospitality as well. Would stay again. Only downfall, not many restaurants in the area. Cab service was quick but prices were outrageous!

We came to town for the baseball game between UNO and GA State. The French Quarter festival was going on that weekend so there were no reasonably priced hotels near Wesley Barrows stadium or in the French Qtr. Most hotels were booked so this was the only acceptable option without getting a room in Slidell. The bed was slanted (the foot of the bed was higher than the head) but the linens were clean so it wasn't too big of a deal. Didn't eat breakfast at hotel. My husband went to work out and said the equipment was broken or non-functional so he was very disappointed. The rates were higher due to the festival being that weekend so I wouldn't normally pay that kind of price for the below par accomodations but that was our best option without paying $250/night downtown. Also had to wait 10 minutes to check in while the clerk was on the phone even though there was another person on the computer next to her (who never asked if she could help me) and I was the only person at the front desk.

Stayed 2 nights. Room ( Hotel ) needs a deep cleaning. Mold in bathroom, bedding dirty when housekeeping came in they didn't even empty the trash or grab the pizza boxes. Couldn't get extra towels as front desk said they only provide what is in the room which was 2 and we have 4 adults in room Pool was disgustingly dirty. Hotel staff were sitting on window sill smoking

I only paid 58.00 a night for this room and for this price it was more than I expected. The breakfast was great! The beds were clean and comfortable! I will be back.

Thought I was staying at a LaQuinta Inn, but found out when I showed up after a 13 hour drive, that it was taken over by Baymont. I had a small dog, which Baymont did not allow pets, but was nice enough to honor the pet policy from LaQuinta Inn. Overall the people that work there was very nice and helpful. The bed was the worst part of, the center of the bed sunk to the floor, which cost me an unexpected visit from the life squad due to sleeping with my feet above my head from the sink hole in the middle of the bed. Until they make a lot of improvements, I would not recommend anyone to stay there. But I guess for the money, I got my moneys worth.

We were expecting to have a microwave and refrigerator in our room based on our reservation. None of the rooms had either one. Hotel was run down. Be careful of this one for now.

Although we were awakened in the early morning by the fire alarm; it was a nice stay. Breakfast very good, employees were helpful and the room was nice.

The rate was very good. The beds were comfortable and sthe staff was very friendly and accomadating. Very peaceful and quiet. Would stay at this hotel again.

I arrived at 3:00 PM for check in and my room was not ready until 6:00 PM. The staff was very rude and cancelled my reservation after talking to Hotel's . com.. I had to make several call to clear up the issues. I booked this room because it was pet friendly and come to find out it was not..

We had a lot of issues with the Hotel. To start with No ice machine on our floor. A minor inconvenience. the Toilet bowl was running and flushing by itself all night, the window has a curtain that covered one third of the space and during the day it was very bright and you could not escape the street lights during the night. Sound insulation was non existent for a hotel. You clearly hear all discussions from the adjacent room. The one good thing about the whole stay was the breakfast. It was better than expected.

So this was my second time staying at this hotel, the first time was a good stay but this second time was not good, although they were working on improving the hotel due to new owners but let me begin by saying when I got my room I opened the door and it was in the middle of being remodeled so I had to return to the desk to get another. The second room smelled like smoke (which was smoke free) by then I was tired from a 6hr drive and just winded up sticking with it, the next morning I heard banging next door come to find out they were remodeling the room next door, kuddos to remodeling but NOT while guests are there sleeping, now on my last day 30min before I left the water was cut off in the middle of my shower. I am not one to complain but I was there for a couple of days and no kind of compen was offered to my family and I. NEVER STAYING AGAIN!

I read the reviews & was some what wary of staying here, but I decided the price was right and we would just be there one night after driving in to NOLA. Well, I am glad we stayed here! The room was huge, and in great condition. I think we were in room 136. Everything was super clean. The linens were pristine, and the bed was comfortable. My tv wasn't from 1983, like some reviewers described. We didn't watch it, but it looked like it was from 2006ish. Our closet doors were fine, and nothing was falling apart. The staff was super friendly. Definitely a lot of bang for your buck.

The room was stripped of a fridge and microwave. The sheets were damp and felt dirty. Hotel needs remodeling. Will not be staying there again.

Hotels.com must eliminate this LaQuinta because first it has been sold. It is old, needs updating, replacements and Maintenance. Nobody wants it. The beds are Terrible! I think an elephant made my concave mattress! I do give a nod to the staff. They did try to help--but their hands are tied too.

Terrible. We arrived and the receptionist waited until I was checked in and paid and THEN told me, "Oh, by the way, we don't have any keys so you won't be able to exit and reenter your room without our maintenance man coming down and opening the door for you." BUT, the key he had didn't work, or the door lock was broken...whatever...45 minutes later we are still standing in the lobby. It took about an hour for us to get in the room, and then of course we could not leave because we'd have to chase down the maintenance man. That night...uge puddle of coffee on the floor in the breakfast area I stepped into in my sock. Lovely.

I rented the room for the purpose of attempting to get some writing done. However, outside circumstances required my time and attention and I was unable to be at the hotel much. When I did arrive back to the hotel, all the food items that I'd left for me to consume when I returned had been thrown away!! And these items were not to be confused with trash as majority of it was in the refridgerator and the reminder of it was left on top of the counter UNOPENED!! Very disappointing!!!

The hot water comes and goes and the coffee pot is missing its lid . I've been to busy working and room to remember and tge staff hasn't seemed to notice .

I was extremely impressed with this hotel. I found it through Hotels.com. The rate was really good. I was just looking for a place for my family to stay the night before we left on our cruise ("all we need is a bed"). Well we got a whole lot more. The breakfast was wonderful, beds were comfotable and staff was very friendly.

Nice hotel within a short drive to Downtown!

Convienent location to highway. Very helpful staff. I question if the bedding was dirty or stained- I used my own blanket I had brought. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was suprisingly varied and good.
