Good spacious accomodations in the suites.The suites are good for families. A little noisy in the suites from people walking upstairs but apart from that, good stay, friendly staff, great price for the accomodations. Furniture a bit dated but clean.

This was one of the best hotel experiences we've had. Staff was amazing, location was great - will definintely return

I really enjoyed the staff, the front desk ladies were great and even helped me to fix an issue with my reservations because I somehow reserved a room one night and a suite the next so they just upgraded me to an available suite-WONDERFUL the area is very pretty and cozy the suite was great! I was in 3 hotels this trip this being the last and the best! Thank you!

Parking my car was a real problem!

Significant road noise from Eaton avenue at night, otherwise, nice place and nice people.

I HAD A LARGE SUITE AND IT WS VERY COMFORTABLE. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT THE CIGARETTE SMOKERS DO IT OUTSIDE OF THEIR ROOMS AND IF YOU WINDOW IS OPEN IT COMES RIGHT INTO YOUR ROOM...And there are still a lot of smkers in miami beach. and the breakfast buffet sucks! crappy eggs every day and no cereal sndf occasionally some fresh fruit. The hotel seems to get a lot of toursits staying one night arrivng on tour busses.....

First, the pluses. The Dorchester is far enough from the discos to be reasonably quiet at night, at least on the back side away from Collins Ave. The staff were friendly, and the beach was close enough. But the smell of chlorine was overwhelming as we entered our room. The floor was sticky, the carpet elderly, the paint in need of a touch-up. I can forgive a bit of dowdiness, but the cleaning staff really needs to learn some new techniques.

My friends and I stayed at this hotel for Four days and three nights and we were very satisfied with everything. The room was spacious for our group of five and was comfortable and well maintained. The location was perfect for visting South Beach as you could walk to just about anything. The hotel staff was also very friendly and was able to quickly answer any questions that we had. I would definitely recommend this hotel as well as stay at it again in the future.

Ask for a suite they are like an apt. They're beautiful! Close to beach, 8 blocks to clevelander. Great service.

This is a 3-star hotel- the carpets and paint look tired. However, everything worked and is reasonably clean. It has an in-room safe. Next door, they are doing construction on a new hotel so pounding started around 7am. This is not the fault of Dorchester since they can't control others' construction projects but they should be done soon. Suites are spacious even for our family of 4. The best part about this hotel is the LOCATION! We parked our rental car and walked to Lincoln Mall and South Beach. But we didn't have to hear the noisy SoBe parties. They also have an arrangement with the Marseilles across the street so you can use their beach,chairs,umbrellas, and towels. The hotel is also staffed with friendly, bilingual staff with great attitudes.

The suite was very large, with a kitchen, living room, large bedroom and nice bathroom. Everything was clean and the complimentary buffet breakfast was great. The rate was excellent for the accommodations. Parking is an issue sometimes because there are not enough parking spaces for all the guests. The valet, Gustavo, graciously helped us with a parking issue, and we are very grateful. We only stayed one night on our way to Key West, but we would stay here again. My daughter lives in Miami Beach and she visited us while we were there. She said she would recommend the suites to any visiting friends.

very nice hotel, good price for the room i had

Initially, we were concerned because the living room furniture and carpet was old, but it finally grew on us. There was only 1 mirror in the entire room, which was a small oval mirror in the bathroom. Also, there was no electrical outlet in the bathroom. I really liked that it was very roomy and more like an apartment than a hotel. Overall, it was ok and worth the money and I would probably stay there again in the future.

I was very impressed for a 2 and a half star hotel. The 'suite' was plenty big enough and comfortable with good clean bedding and a sofa bed too which came in handy when a friend stayed with us for a couple of nights. They even left us the extra bedding and towels without any fuss at all. We used the hotel mostly as a base and the location was really excellent with the beach just over the main road and plenty of good bars and restaurants within a short stroll. The hotel was happy to extend our booking for a couple of nights when our plans changed and we even managed to negotiate a really good price with them. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful- we used them to make restaurant bookings for us as well as get information about excursions and taxis. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Its not 5 star quality but the price you pay represents very good value for money.

Passei o carnaval de 2013 em uma das suítes do hotel. É enorme, tem muitas comodidades e a cozinha é bem equipada. As dependencias da suíte são bem velhas e precisam de uma reforma, principalmente o banheiro que é pequeno e desgastado. No mais, só tenho elogios à equipe do hotel, principalmente a Silvana que fica na recepção. A localização é a melhor de South Beach pois fica pertíssimo da praia, da Lincoln Road e ainda dá para ir a pé às melhores lojas da Collins, que ficam perto do quarteirão 05. No geral, excelente!

Parkerede hos Shore Club på anden side af gaden for USD 42 og var nervøs hele natten for bilen og de ting der lå i den. Ved afhentning ville de have yderligere USD 12 hvilket jeg hårdnakket nægtede. Bilen kom tilbage i ok tilstand.

Hotel calme malgré la proximité des centres d'intérêts, seul bémol serait les frais supplémentaires relatifs à internet et aux lits de plage utilisés ou non. Belle piscine et personnel aimable et souriant. A proximité, bus pour aéroport : attention au sens de départ... Nous retournerons lors d'un prochain voyage. Robert

Bra hotell för familj, inte i värsta party.kvarteren men ändå såpass nära att man lätt kan går dit. Nära strand .

Bra service. Nära till stranden, shopping och restauranger.

Indico esse hotel. Bem localizado e o apto bem espaçoso. Comodidades, tais como, cadeiras de praia, toalhas, estacionamento próprio e disponibilidade de café da manhã no próprio hotel. Os empregados do hotel são prestativos e educados. No entanto, alguns pontos de observação: o ar condicionado não refrigera o ambiente, a geladeira estava estragada e as cortinas não são blackout, o que dificulta dormir durante o dia.

Als Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen Ideales Hotel. Wenn man sich etwas Komfort erwartet , dann lieber ein anderes Hotel wählen. Keine Ablagemöglichkeiten um seine Wäsche vernüftig abzulegen. Kästen die nicht vorhanden sind. Balkontüren die nicht schliessen und von aussen zugänglich waren.Safe im Zimmer der nicht Funktionstüchtig war, nur einer in einem improvisierten Kästchen,welches man jederzeit mit dem Safe hätte entfernen können. Also Zimmerwechsel, ging aber nicht , da alles ausgebucht war.Kein Frühstück am ersten Tag, da die Tische nicht mit benutzten Geschirr abgeräumt wurden. Nach 20 Minuten Wartezeit eben kein Frühstück. War aber wie wir dann feststellen durften eh besser,schmutziges Geschirr,Kaffeelöffel voller Kaffeeflecken und angebranntes Rührei glaube ich sollte das sein, ersparte uns die Entscheidung noch einmal in diesem Hotel zu Frühstücken. Sehr hellhöriges Hotel.Pool benutzen ist nicht , da man ständig den Baulärm vom Nachbarhotel hört. Insgesamt sollte man dieses " Hotel " lieber meiden.Genügt auch nicht Amerikanischen Standard.

Hotel tout à fait correct, les suites sont spacieuses, propres mais pas luxueuses. C'est très pratique de pouvoir disposer d'une cuisine. L'hotel est très bien situé par rapport aux bus qui sont un moyen de déplacement très pratiques à Miami. Attention, petit supplément au moment du départ non annoncé.

30 dollars pour 24 h de parking,c'est cher pour garder nos bagages quand on quitte la chambres=1 dollar par bagages;pas tres commercial

hôtel sympa très bien situé mais le problème c'est que nous avions réservé une suite pour 3 et le coupon petit déj n'était que pour 2 tout comme pour les transats! pas très logique sinon super suite style mini appart et très bien situé pour sortir à miami beach à pied! on traverse la rue et on est à la plage!

Nous avions une suite avec deux chambres et un salon. C'est simple mais bien. Les points négatifs sont le bruit de la clim et de la petite route derrière l'hotel et la dimension de la salle de bain. Les points positifs sont l'emplacement, et le rapport qulité prix.
