Good place to stay.no pool or gym or breakfast. Great vale for the money though.

we entered the side door near our room on Saturday evening to the smell of marijuana in the hallway across from our room. I did not care for this at all, we had 2 small children with us. There was also other children close by. Everything else was terrific though and day staff was very helpful and friendly

Stayed here for one night on March 25th, 2013. Decent hotel and fair price.

We stopped briefly on a long drive - the room was fairly clean but double beds seem small and many things in bathroom were broken - towel bar fell off wall and the shower knob also fell off - it is also quite far off the highway (I-90) so not nearly as convenient as hoped. But it was quite inexpensive and the staff was friendly

For what you pay, it is what it is. While the room was non-smoking, the reception area and halls smelled strongly of stale smoke. The towels were very small also. The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful although it took 4 people to check us in and confirm our room. Was conveniently located close to the highway, but there is nothing else around it.

We stay at this hotel overnight before skiing at Holiday Valley. It is hands-down the best low cost hotel we've ever stayed in. In fact, I never would have considered it until I read the reviews here- and I agree with them all. The rooms are average sized and very clean. One advantage for us is that most (maybe all) of the rooms on the first floor have sliding doors that open to the parking lot. This makes unloading ski equipment very easy- four steps from the car to inside the room. It has been relatively quiet and empty during the winter weekends we have been, unless there happens to be a younger rambunctious ski club staying there. The staff is friendly and helpful- even at the very late hours we often check-in at. It is the perfect stop-over place to stay for us to stay- clean and conveniently located right off the Falconer exit.

Price was good and location was convenient. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Was looking for low-priced but comfortable hotel for overnight stay between 2 days of skiing at Holiday Valley in Ellicottville. Hotel was fine. Nothing luxurious, but clean and relatively comfortable. Wish they offered 2 queen beds instead of 2 doubles. Mattresses were a little thin but not uncomfortable. Only complaint is the smell of cigarette smoke in the hallway. Our room was non-smoking and could not smell smoke in it. But could definitely smell the smoke in the hallway.

The stay was pleasant. Ada at the front desk was so hopeful!!!

I left a tip despite the club chair being soiled. i was impressed with the hotel and felt it was just overlooked. overall a nice experience

We stayed here once before and it was disgusting. However we needed to stay in the same area again with our dogs and noticed that this place got much better reviews than our previous experience would indicate so we decided to give it a second chance. This time, to improve our chances, we got their "deluxe" room which is really just a few dollars more and still less than most of the competition. It wasn't the most spotless room we've stayed in but definitely acceptable and over all was pretty comfortable. This area along the Southern Tier Parkway is not known for it's fine food and accommodations. On the other hand, this would surely be one of the least expensive places you've stayed in and is pretty good for the price. Just be sure to take a good look at your room and be prepared to ask for a change if needed. If my experience is any indication, booking the deluxe room may increase your chances of a good experience.

The front desk staff was very helpful in recommending places to eat dinner and breakfast. The hotel was quiet and well-kept. The beds were reasonably comfortable and the heater both quiet and effective. Wifi worked reasonably well, as well. It's a Red Roof Inn, so scale your expectations accordingly in terms of the level of furnishings, but I found everything satisfactory.

For the price, the Red Roof Inn is probably the best value in the Jamestown/Falconer area. The room was comfortable , spacious, clean , well located just off the highway and convenient to Jamestown. What it lacks in charm it more than makes up for in function. . I will stay there again.

My only issues were the cleanliness of the sheets and a smoke smell in the hallway. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

Our non smoking room was clearly a smoking room in the past. They were trying to cover the stench with some sort of air freshener and the room smelled awful. People were nice though and room seemed clean. Just outdated. If they updated the rooms it would be much better.

The room was surprisingly comfortable and location was excellent. The price was enbeatable and we would be happy to stay there again.

It was fine.

The Inn looked a little run down. The room did not appear to have been cleaned very well. There were areas in the bathroom which were not clean. The clock/radio was old and beat up.

This was an old facility, so I think everything was as good as it could be, considering the age of the place. Our only complaint was that our room was not made up after our first night. However, the management was very apologetic and offered us a free movie.

my stay was great the rates very fine the staff where very polite and helpful my only suggestion would be to wipe out the microwave a bit more often as some guests are not very careful or at least leave wipes close to the microwave

Good hotel for a short stay. No breakfast and no plce really convenient for breakfast. Clean, quiet and typical of this chain. Close to freeway.

The room was clean not fancy but clean, every time we went for coffee it was empty. I had a gross worm in my room tried to bring it to the desk but dropped it on my way down and couldn't find it. Very gross bug!

need some new pillows. Large clean room great loacation right off highway.

Stayed one night only--thank goodness only one. You get what you pay for. In this case not much. Floor was wet which was gross and sticky.

The staff was very kind but the hotel contestation where terrible. The carpet was dirty (turned the bottom of my feet black), the room had a bad musky smell and we ran out of hot water. Red Roof really needs to think about spending some money to fix this stuff.

Clean and orderly with a helpful staff. Very quite and cant be beat for the price relative to other local options. Ten + minute drive from Jamestown proper.

very good value. Room was clean, spacious enough and the facility was close to Jamestown which is where our reunion was being held. Front desk check in was easy (advance reservation) and the staff at the desk were very helpful. Will stay there again when in the area.Thank You

It was ok - it was convenient for where I needed to be. The staff were very friendly. However the room was sparse, and the place looked dated. Not sure if I would stay there again.

Would have preferred to have a King size bed, instead of two doubles.

A better than expected hotel for the price.

The night clerk was very responsive, it was appreciated to speak to a mature adult person! The room was very accpetable and the location near I 86 was good. The price to value ratio is high in my book and I would stay there again.

Kudos to Wanda who was very gracious and helpful in honoring my request to change my room to one with a microwave.

Great place to crash for inexpensive, clean lodging.

I was pleasantly surprised. The last time I stayed in a Red Roof I was disgusted, years ago. But their much touted renovations, at least here, have made a huge difference. The place was clean, neat and attractive. The service, especially Robert, was awesome. He was patient and attentive, helpful and knowledgeable. Even the grounds were neat and taken care of. Thank you for making my stay with you a much more enjoyable one then I had anticipated.
