Perfect - has everything i needed for a business stay downtown

This room was clean and functional and otherwise unimpressive. It was a good, cheap stopover hotel on a drive from Winnipeg to Calgary. The small continental breakfast was good for grabbing something quick and hitting the road.

I wish I had known it was a motel, not a hotel, ahead of time. The continental breakfast was 'a bit' limited, but it served my purpose. Comfortable bed. My title says it all.

Good location for the use of the casino and spa

Only problem, first night the room was extremely hot. Slowly managed to cool it down.

The room was ok. We had a problem with the microwave but it was resolved. Would stay again.

Room was freezing when we arrived. Once we got the heat up it was fine. The smallest bathroom I have ever seen in a hotel. Okay for a one night stay, but wouldn't recommend for any longer.

For the reasonable rate, it was pretty good. The bed was rather uncomfortable, but also expected. The part that REALLY set it back was the fact that the desk clerks do NOT communicate with guests or each other. I checked in about 3:30 p.m., but since I wasn't there at 2 p.m. SHARP, they called my emergency contact number. However, when I arrived, they did NOT tell me they'd been trying to reach me, which caused my family great worry. The second day of my stay, they cancelled my card key because they thought I'd be checking out (I had booked in two groupings). My brother tried to reach me by calling the hotel, and they claimed nobody by that name had a reservation. I never got any of his messages. VERY poor customer service that could be alleviated by common sense and attention to detail.

it was just what we were looking for as we traveled

Price was excellent but room had an odor in it that was not very appealing. Maid service was excellent! Terrible shower head - like standing in a light rain shower.

it was very good,cept he never mentioned the breakfast, or when it would be put away.

The location was really good, within walking distance of everything we wanted to see, but some parts of the room looked like they hadn't been cleaned or dusted for a long time.

My stay over all was uneventful. The folks at the hotel were friendly. I had a problem with my room and it was remedied immediately. When I travel a room is basically a bed to sleep in. They had that. I'm satisfied. If you're looking for more stay at a more expensive hotel. For the money this place was just fine. The location was excellent.

Pleasant stay. Room was cool and quiet at nite. Air conditioner was quieter than in many hotel rooms. Bed comfortable. Continental breakfast was skimpy and there is no seating area. Good locatin for access to good restaurants and entertainment.

Very friendly and helpful Management, hotel was claen and and located right downtown, 5 minutes from all the tourist sites. Beautiful Crescent Park is across the street form the hotel.

What a nice surprise!! And it was very quiet a restful. The worst part was the "lobby" - a bit crowded and a bit messy (not dirty).

The carpet was sticky in spots. Water pressure in shower sucked. They didn't even clean our rooms till 4:00pm when we were already back in our room. So they just gave us fresh towels. The TV remote was a pain in the butt to operate.

Close to restaurants & sights. Rooms are clean & comfortable. Room rates are very reasonable. Continental breakfeast not great but will do.

Older style but most rooms renovated at least partially. Clean, warm, functional, with plenty of hot water. Great location - we were able to walk to many places we wanted to go and easy to get anywhere if driving. Frendly and helpful staff.

no vent in the washroom, meaning that eventually it will become a nest for molds. The fact that it is more a motel than a hotel, being allergic to cigarette smoke, it was possible to live well because there was no hallway polluted by the smoking of others from other rooms. That is a plus for me. The possibility to open a window helps with air circulation, but not much. It can get very stuffy at night when we sleep. So if respiratory problems is not a problem for you, it`s and OK place.

All I have to say is that our stay was perfect! We were close to Main street and we ended up walking everywhere which was amazing cause we were able to see everything. The room was clean and very comfortable to stay in. The lady at the front desk stayed an hour after they close so that we would check in. Very nice stay and I would definately stay there again! I would recommend this place to everyone.

Stayed the weekend of August 5-7, 2011. Service was so-so, elderly man running the office had a bit of an attitude. Absolutely NO hotel staff in the evening, other guests were constantly drinking, smoking, and being rowdy throughout the night and into the morning with no hotel staff to control the situation. Basically, there were absolutely no rules to make sure guests who didn't want to party and had to travel 10 hrs the following day comfortable during their stay. Room was freshly cleaned when we arrived, air conditioner turned on prior to us entering (it was +30c all weekend). I wouldn't stay again. Too many times woken up and it shouldn't be my job as a paying guest to ask a bunch of shirtless jerks to keep it down at 4 in the morning.

parking here is the absolute PITS. we had to park on the street as did 2 other guests. I would hope that in the future your company would also consider the parking as well as guest rooms. A/c worked, but was in a real stupid location to cool the room !

We had spent the day traveling from Calgary and were ready for a quiet restful evening and night's sleep before the next leg of our trip to Fargo ND. The room was satisfactory except for the strong strange smell that greeted us when we entered. It made my nose all stuffed up. When we went to the office to ask about internet access, there was a man in the area that has had too much to drink. About 9 pm we went to bed because we were tired. Our sleep was interupted quite often by lots of noise and someone, I think it was a child, running back and forth in the room and deck upstairs. We thought things would settle down by 10:30, but not so! At about 12:00 we had had enough, and finally complained. It was quiet for a short while, but started again with running upstairs until about 1:30. We would had left if it had continued. We had a 12 hour drive to complete the next day on a half night's sleep. Not very safe, do you think?Before we left, we told the gal that we were very unhappy with our stay and she took our phone numbers and said the manager would call us---which he didn't.

The hotel service was smooth and professional. No problems. The room was very clean and came with microwave and fridge. However, things were pretty old though it looks like they've tried to update it a bit. The lampshades were worn, the towels frayed around the edges and overall the room just felt tired. Based on the price paid, it seemed fair enough for the kind of room. Nothing fancy and a bit old, but very clean. Very large flat screen TV was nice.

We were promised breakfast but it never materialized! Bed was extremely uncomfortable and the washroom very tiny! Would not stay here again.

This hotel should be demolished. It is old, smelly, and dirty. Our room was filthy from the uncleaned toilet seat to the cobwebs around the room. The TV only had a couple of channels with sound. The bedding was poor quality and would not even stay on the mattress. The room was so small you practically had to walk in and back out. The renovations refered to consisted of a 1" beead of silicone caulk to cover things up. The meager breakfast of toast and coffee had to be taken back to our room since they had no place to eat. Since you cannot cancel after 24 hrs. in advance we could not move or we would have. This was the worst hotel we have stayed in since our retirement travels began 5 yrs. ago.

If you want to stay in a hotel/motel that should be torn down then this is the place. The room was filthy from the toilet seat to the cobwebs around the room. The bedding is poor quality and the sheets will not even stay on the mattress. The remodel of this place consists of 1" beadsof caulking. Small dirty room with no appleal other than "lets leave". There is no place to eat the meager breakfast. I guess there is a reason you can't cancell. What a hole.

This is actually a motel which was surprising to me.

The outside appearnce was very deceiving. It is an old motel. The manager was very friendly and helpful and upgraded us to a main floor room. The room had been recently completely done over and was very clean and the beds very comfortable. It is about a block away from the Moose Jaw Casino

My room was very clean and extremely comfortable. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay there again. I was within walking distance of many nice shops, and found this to be very convient. The management were very helpful, and very nice to me and definitely added to the pleasant experience.
