Very quiet and relaxing. We never heard any other guests nor traffic. Very clean and comfortable. Bed was perfect.

booking this hotel was like any other in the sense that the pictures were not what the actual hotel rooms would be. It actually turned out better. Everything is newly renovated, rooms were very nice and clean, pool was indoor and well kept, staff very friendly.

My only complaint is beds were not comfortable. The mattress on king bed was too hard with no pillow-top or foam cushioning. We tossed and turned all night and didn't feel rested the following day. Otherwise our stay was very pleasant and staff was courteous and helpful. The decoration and ambiance of suite was very nice and appealing.

Clean rooms, very nice finishes (granite countertops, nice appliances, full fridge), and fairly quiet as well. The neighborhood was also quiet, with the exception of a few ambulances from the nearby hospital. Very friendly staff. Overall, nice, modern, absolutely would try to stay here again if anywhere in the vicinity.

Everything was good except for the toilet ran all nite

The beds are horrible but the front desk staff is nice and helpful. Housekeeping leaves much to be desired. Close to everything which is also good for short stay.

Everything was wonderful. The only problem was the steps were next to our room and people were running up and down the steps. I also heard jumping on the top room.

Very good.

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Glad we made this choice. Will definitely choose again.

Clean and comfortable but felt outdated. I had the two bedroom and more than enough room, but the living room would be tight for a family. Bathroom was small and not connected to bedroom. Being by myself, no big deal, but something to keep in mind if traveling with others.

This hotel in baton rouge is very close to the mall and all the wonderful restaurants and also close to two hospitals.

A little bit off the road while we were on our way through town but the suite was great with an unexpected bonus of 2 bedrooms.

The room was clean and had a full kitchen and with a comfortablle queen sized bed. All that my wife needed after a day of tailgating at the LSU Game. The location is only right across the street from the new Baton Rouge General and would be ideal to stay for those needing to be near the hospital. It is only a few blocks from Essen Lane which has many food choices with many restaruants close by. The only thing I thought could be improved was having a larger breakfast area were you could actually sit and eat near the lobby. Currently it is really just a pickup area for coffee or juice and a danish to be brought up to your room. Everyone working there was courteous and friendly. We would stay there again without question.

This property was in well kept condition and the hotel staff that I spoke with were very kind and seemed concerned about our stay. The pool and hot tub were in good shape. The hot tub jet system seemed to have an air-leak causing the tub to fill with white (over oxygenated) water, but it didn't affect the function, just the appearance of the water. I found one door that needed to have the door handle repaired. The loose handle made it difficult to open unless you held it in the center and then use your door key to open it. The only real complaint was that a Youth baseball team was staying the same weekend. The kids weren't bad, but the parents decided to have a party in the parking lot until after midnight. They were playing music and being loud in general. Overall I would easily return to this property in the future when my wife and I need to get away for a weekend.

The TownePlace Suites on Summa Drive in Baton Rouge is right across the street from Baton Rouge General Medical Center. It is ideal for anyone whose loved one is a patient at the hospital. It is within easy walking distance, has a well-equipped kitchenette, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. It is also very close to the Mall of Louisiana. The only minor complaint was the skimpiest continental breakfast I have ever seen! But, with a kitchenette, it is very easy to stock your own food items, and all utensils are provided.
