אני חוזרת אל המלון הזה בכל נסיעותי לציריך בגלל מיקומו ומאחר והוא עונה על כל צרכי. גם הפעם הייתי מרוצה, ובעתיד אשוב אליו שנית.

very close to the main shopping street but very quiet, reasonable breakfast, spacious room but very simply furnished.

Nice location near bahnhofstrasse, 10 min walk to the main train station in Zurich. Decent room size and comfort in the superior room, included breakfast was average but good enough to help start your day. Check-in/out process was quick and efficient. Staff were helpful and efficient. Would certainly come back when next in Zurich.

Very nice hotel in good location for minimalist traveler. Only complaint is tiny shower stall.

Nice hotel in a good location with sights within walking distances. Front desk personnel were helpful with any questions we had, especially with how to best get to the location where we were to pick up our rental car. Very nice pick we made, and we would return.

Great time and experience. We chose the hotel for the conveinience of the train depot for trips to the other cities and sites. Worked out perfectly. Staff very helpful and transportation was easy. Great little restaurant and breakfast included was a plus.

We only booked this hotel to spend one night before catching an early train next day. The beds are setup on the european way. It was supposed to be a king bed, but they only provided two indiviual duvets, I felt like I was sleeping on a slepping bag over a king bed, weird. The room was small, but ok. Breakfast was supposed to end at 10 am, but at 9:50 am they were already putting away stuff, no matter people was walking in.

Excellent all around, from the location to the staff to the room... everything was very good. Thank you for a good stay in Zurich.

Liked the hotel, first room, the bathroom too small for comfort. They did change our room without a problem, for a room that was slightly bigger with a larger bathroom. We were very satisfied. I would consider this hotel again. It is so close to trams and the main station. Also department store across the street. Very quiet for a downtown hotel.

Everything as expected, front desk and breakfast (if included) is excellent. In general a very good option at @ 200 us $

Helpful, friendly staff. Centrally situated. Recommended, but a bit pricey.

Excellent location in the middle of the most famous shopping street in Zurich, steps away from Lake Zurich. Nice and big rooms. Very nice breakfast served. Good value for the money.

The Sorell Hotel Seidenhof is right in the centre of Zurich, just off the main shopping street and opposite the Jelmoli department store. There is a Asian restaurant (which we didn't try) where a reasonable buffet breakfast is served. The staff are all very pleasant and our room was comfortable and pleasant. There are plenty of other eating options close by including the famous Hiltl vegetarian restaurant.

I have stayed here a number of times, and it cannot be beaten for cost and location when doing business. The rooms are basic, but what you would expect, and the most important thing is that they are comfortable and clean. The staff are friendly, and the hotel is well placed for conducting business while in Zurich.

Very good location. Breakfast was awesome! Served buffet style with bread, juice, cereal and a few hot items. Service was good, front desk was helpful, they arranged taxi for us for early morning departure. Room is bigger than average European hotels. Only thing is Internet is expensive, but they offer 2 computers at lobby with Internet free of charge.

Great value, relatively cheap hotel - very comfortable at the price!

We are guests in this hotel for many years and return to it, mainly due to its location.

We were very pleased with the stuff, the room and most of all of its location

The title says everything, it is all about the location and convenience to the Bahnhofstrasse ( 5th Ave or Rodeo Dr. of Zurich) as well as the main train station and museums. The Seidenhof hotel has smaller rooms, like the other reviews mention, but certainly comfortable and quite. The included breakfast is a big plus and very good, saving you time and francs. After using the Swiss made Nespresso coffee machine in the room, you will want to buy one when you get home, it is that good. No matter if you are visiting for business or pleasure, be sure to take the 20 min train ride to the Top of Zurich (Uetliberg ) Enjoy!

The hotel was a little pricey for what it was - however that's Switzerland for euro travellers these days. The hotel was perfectly located for walking distance to everything. The room & breakfast was basic but functional. In fairness, it suited us as we weren't planning on spending our day in the hotel & wanted to explore the city.

Good location. Not far from train station. Staff very helpful

Not fancy but very decent, the staff is very friendly. Stayed 2 night with a friend, we had 2 single rooms and was nice to be there. You can walk 5 minutes from the Zurich train station and arrive the hotel. Walk 10 minutes in a fancy street and reach the Zurich Lake. Everything is walking distance from the hotel. One night was raining and the hotel lent us umbrellas, that was a very nice detail. Some of the best restaurants in Zurich are 2 or 3 minutes away.

As a location to overnight enroute, Seidenhof was a great choice with its 10 minute walk to the train station and in the perfect location for walking off jet lag. It's a pretty basic hotel, but had everything one might need for a quick layover.

It was a pleasure-the location is perfect and it is an oasis of quiet among the hustle and bustle of Bahnhofstrasse. I was a bit disappointed that there were no english newspapers , complimentary or otherwise. The internet stations had no chairs in the lobby, and at my age that was a difficulty. If I had the chance, I would stay there again and recommend it to everyone.

I hade a very nice time there is air condition in the rooms 'breakfast is nice

The location is very good , it is near the old city but not in it ( 5-10 min walk) it is also near the main rail station ( 10min walk ) and the main shoping centers. the room is clean but small . the shower is clean and practical.there was no bath in my room only shower. the room is very well orgenized . the breakfast was nice ( few types of eegs sausage cheese fruit sweets and drinks ). the staff was wonderful during my visit. they help me with few issues like change money, store my luggage , city guidence etc .

Location is great, not too far from Hauptbahnhof, walking distance to Zurichsee and Niederdorf, and a few blocks from Bahnhofstrasse. Room was small but didn't feel cramped and I don't mind a small room, furniture and ambiance was nice, koenig espresso maker was nice, bathroom tiling was a bit dated but not distasteful. Staff was great. Internet in lobby. Breakfast was excellent with fresh breads, made to order coffees, meats, cheeses, fruit, eggs, sausage, yogurt, and cereals.

This is my favourite hotel in Zurich, and with good reason. Location could not be better, nice, clean, well equipped room, friendly and helpful staff, and good breakfast. On this visit I had a room on the street side, quite noisy on Saturday night. Will ask to have a room on the courtyard side on my next visit. Wholeheartedly recommended.

I was put in a room on the second floor facing the street. The rooms was always stiffeling and if I opened the window it was so noisy I couldn't think. It was so loud at night when I was trying to sleep that I was not able to sleep for almost 3 nights. And this hotel was quite expensive. The bathroom as tiny but the shower was miniscule. On the up side, the rate included breakfast (basically a continental breakfast), the staff was very competent and professional and the hotel was very clean. Water in the tiny shower was hot and strong! Location to rail, shopping and businesses was quite good but location also added to the down side of the noise factor. But sorry, THIS HOTEL IS NOT WORTH THE VERY HIGH RATES PAID PER NIGHT.

I was happy with the hotel: very good and friendly service, standard but nice rooms, clean, quiet and comfortable. The location is excellent, very central and easy access with public transportation.
