The Hotel of South Beach - מיאמי ביץ'

Very friendly and helpful staff in all positions. Relatively quite in a very busy area. Was very happy with the motel in general. Need to lower the valet parking rate, but otherwise a very good place to stay.

We had a great time at The Hotel of South Beach! The staff were so helpful! The location of the hotel is steps away from the beach and shops! Would definitely return!

I think the stay was just ok. Hotel needs updates and is noisy. Shower pressure in our room was very light which was a bummer. As well as we were above some sort of loading dock and was woken by loud dumpster sounds at 6am which is always awesome on vacation. Also - while beach chairs come with your room, umbrellas do not which we were not told until we arrived on the beach that this would be an extra $15. Staff was friendly, pool nice and good service but food takes forever also. (over 2 hrs one day for our lunch) I would not likely return to this hotel. I would stay somewhere directly on the beach.

All of the older hotels in this area are similar: smallish room, deco styling (due to age), nice proximity to restaurants, beach, shopping. The Hotel of South Beach has a very nice and helpful staff, funky touches to the rooms (all-tile bath with stainless steel sink in our room), a terrific roof-top pool. The bed was comfortable, the complimentary breakfast was yummy (til 11:30 for the partying type), and the shower was roomy with good water pressure.

I loved this hotel. The location was perfect, the roof top pool was awesome, and everyone was so friendly and helpful. The maids even checked at night to see if you needed towels or your bar replenished. My favorites was the concierge who greeted me with a song every time, and the bartender who worked the lunch shift thru closing at the rooftop pool. Did I say how much I love the rooftop pool?

Service and location were fabulous! However, the room was beyond small, especially the bathroom. We loved the rooftop- would stay again!

The Hotel has not been properly maintained to 5 star standards. However, the staff is extremely nice, the roof pool is great, and the location is unbeatable.

Great quiet spot on South Beach. Very friendly hotel, recommended excellent Cuban restaurant on first night. Nice rooms, funky bathrooms, excellent free wifi. If you want to stay away from the mayhem of the main strip this is a brilliant choice.

Great hotel, great service, great location, large comfortable room - would stay there again for sure. Loved the rooftop pool.

The Bellman and Concierge are great but that's about it. No place to unload your bags. The rooms are so small it's mind boggling. Noise from other rooms is a problem. Carpets stained. etc etc. Location is good but there are literally 100's of hotels in the area. They might be better but I'd doubt they could be worse.

A true gem in South Beach - the hotel was superb, staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the bed is to die for!! Truely in the center of all the activity but far enough away for peace and quiet and romance. We did not want to leave!!!

Very good hotel, friendly staff.Excellent Roof Top pool / bar area. The hotel is in a perfect location with all local attractions near bye. Enjoyed very much our stay although it was only for two nights.

Staff was extremely friendly from the moment we pulled up. The self-park parking garage was only 1 short block away. The room and bathroom was nice, especially for the SouthBeach area. The bar area adjacent to the lobby was nice and had a happy hour everyday with discounted prices on drinks. The rooftop which included a pool & another bar was spectacular. I would definitely stay here again.

Ok, number one the hotel is great, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the location is ideal, you are right in the middle of everything you need/should do in South Beach. Our room was small but compact and very comfortable, surprisingly quiet from any street noise but and it was quite a big but either the people in the next door room were very noisy or the wall are very thin, so much so that we had to ask the front desk to have a word at 3am, also the floorboards in the room above creaked loudly when the guests there were moving around, not a problem apart from when they get up at 6am. But having said all this I would certainly stay there again as I think we were just unlucky with the neighbours.

the hotel is a block from the beach, which was very nice. There were good restaurants near by, plenty of things to see. The buildings 1920s style was very cool. Had a nice stay, wouldn't hesitate to go back.

This was a good location if you want to be near the party scene in South Beach. The service at the hotel was excellent as is the rooftop pool. However our room was very small and you could hear noise from hallways, the floor above and neighboring rooms. It felt outdated. The bed wasn't very comfortable either. I wish I had booked another hotel.

Staff is very helpful and friendly. Location is amazing in terms of access to most of South Beach restaurants, beach, attractions. The hotel is boutique-style so the rooms are small but the decor/furniture has plenty of built-in storage. Wish restaurant at the hotel is closed so food menu is limited during dinner.

Stayed here for business. Nothing special, but the hotel will be undergoing a renovation/facelift, which it needs. Rooms are simple but subject to noisy traffic/road noise depending on where your window faces. Location is good for many business meetings and walking around most of downtown DC, and convenient to metro.

Friendly staff, great location in the heart of south beach

Lovely decor, good location and very nice staff. Miguel told us about Espanola Way which was a really nice place for dinner--great atmosphere--far better than Lincoln Road or beach strip.

the only things I can complain is that in the price, that are not cheap should be at least a breakfast included.

The staff was very friendly, it was def in a great location of south beach.

What an amazing place to stay, helped by the fact that we were upgraded to a suite. As soon as we walked through the door the staff were friendly and gave us a lot of information about what they had to offer. Our room was just off Ocean Drive across the road from a busy club but this did not have any negative impact as the windows kept all the noise out with the exception of the bin trucks in the morning. The room was very comfortable and was always cleaned everytime we were out, fresh towels every day and the fresh fruit on arrival is a nice touch as all we ate was junk food on our trip out. I have to admit this is has been a exceptional experience. The free wifi and beach loungers are a big bonus too and only a short walk from the hotel.

we arrived at the hotel early because we just finished our cruise. Our room was not ready but we were allowed to go to the rooftop pool and order drinks and lunch and wait until our room was ready. Everybody was so helpful and friendly from the time we stepped out of the taxi until we checked out. We will definitely stay here again. In fact, we will stay here every time we will be in South Beach.

Wow - fantastic hotel , great service, located right in the middle of everything, excellent staff. Very very highly recommended!!!!!!

Can't beat the location. Little small but makes up for it with a cool roof top pool.

A problem with our reservation (our fault) was resolved by the helpful desk staff! The concierge had several excellent suggestions for us. All staff were friendly, professional and helpful. The hotel and room were just fine. location great.

We stayed for 2 days and were pleased with the location and condition of the hotel The rooms are small but efficient and comfortable. The rooftop pool was great. We self-parked our car at a garage one block away. The staff were very helpful. Where the action is was only one block away but the noise was negligible.

WE'VE BEEN COMING HERE FOR YEARS...GREAT SOUTH BEACH LOCATION..WALK TO EVERYTHING...GREAT STAFF AND AWESOME ROOF TOP POOL

Loved our few days in Miami. Breakfast by the rooftop pool was wonderful. Hotel was well-placed for all of South Beach's attractions. Concierge was very helpful with great local knowledge. One downer was that we were charged for the jellybeans left in the room - it wasn't clear they were chargeable, we thought they were complimentary.

Very well located hotel, one block from Ocean Drive, in the Art Deco district and Miami Beach shopping district. All staff very friendly and service very good. Noise is no problem at all, because you're a block away from Ocean Drive. Free use of towels and sun loungers on the beach was most welcome. Bars and restaurants at Espanola Way and Lincoln Road represent better value than Ocean Drive and are a short taxi ride or 20 minute walk away Wi-Fi only worked intermittently in room, but overall would highly recommend this hotel
