very satisfactory--served our need well.

Great location. Easy access to services, public transit, food & coffee, and downtown by foot. Downside was that the cleaning service was just okay.

Couldn't have asked for more, better or spectacular Friendly, helpful and so on top of it in every way

The hotel is now completely renovated and it shows! The service was much improved over previous stays. I only wish the new management would give a discount for meetings being held at National City Christian Church. I think it would be good for all concerned!

I enjoyed my stay at the Washington Plaza? I found all the staff friendly and helpful and would definitely use it if I was in Washington again.

We were in town for business. Although we received an ok rate, I wish I would have stayed somewhere else. The beds were uncomfortable and rooms were small. We were there 6 days and we asked if we could upgrade - willing to pay for it, and we were told we could not even though there were rooms available. The lounge was nice but the restaurant screams "I am a hotel restaurant". The food was ok at best. We ate there once and that wished we had not. There are a lot of great restaurants in the area in walking distance. Maybe put some art work up and replace the chairs and replace the 80's love music with something more hip and up to date? The subbasement (business center and levels to parking) was white walled, old and scary. Maybe paint the walls and put some fun inviting art up? Seems someone really missed the ball on a hotel called the "plaza". I will not recommend this hotel - I have already told my staff not to stay there as well as suggested to my friends to look elsewhere while in DC.

Washington Plaza is a beautiful hotel. They had excellent service. Everyone was attentive. Both the hotel and the room was immaculately cleaned. I also liked that they gave you complimentary water everyday. I would definately stay here again the next time I visit DC!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and modern. Close to sights and transportation. Safe feeling neighborhood. Room had space for and needed a small dresser.

We are very pleased with our experience.

Because I was late to make a reservation at my conference hotel, I needed an alternate location. The Washington Plaza provided a very reasonable price alternative. Very clean and comfortable. In room amenities were very similar to 3.5 & 4 star hotels. The location required a slightly longer walk to metro station.

I would definitely stay here again. It was easily accesible, had a great room, and was walking distance to 14th street. Right where I wanted to be! My only complaint is that the bathroom seemed a little top cheap compared to the rest of the place.

That it was very accomodable and close to all of the parties/events that I had to attend nearby!

The hotel was okay although the room is much smaller than it appears on the site. The worst part is that you have to pay to park your car there even if you are a guest!

Great Hotel for visiting Washington. The rooms are big and the service is very good. The white house/capitol are just 15min away by foot.

Staff were all very nice and accommodating. Anytime we had an issue (ex: remote not working), it was immediately addressed. It was easy to get a taxi and in a nice area.

Good location for tourist "attractions". Close walk to White House and monuments. Nice walk to DuPont circle restaurants and bars. Small rooms but size was not important for me. Was able to get I to a room as early as 11am, which was great! Staff was friendly and accommodating.

I travel a lot and have a check list of necessities that this hotel meets. It has complimentary internet, HD TV, easily accessible outlets, good water pressure, comfy bed and pillows and near essential affordable services. It appears the guest floors have been updated in the past couple years. The only down side is the average restaurant, lounge and lobby that could be great with a renovation to breath some life into the spaces. The hotel has a big pool and deck, but the weather was not favorable.

Perfect location for visiting historic city landmarks, monuments, government buildings. Able to walk to the White House or take advantage of the great public bus service. Easy access to the Metro to visit all parts of the City. Attractive area of Thomas Circle, McPherson Square. Plenty of eateries along 14th. Hotel was clean, well-maintained, friendly and accomodating staff. Used room service once which was fine. Enjoyed drinks in the lounge one evening. The restaurant looked attractive and tempting but we ended up not using it. The pool was not yet open for the season. The room was a bit small but manageable.Very grateful for the coffee pot in the room and found the refrigerator useful. All in all, we were pleased. Would choose Washinton Plaza again.

Very convenient location, an easy walk to the White House, DuPont Circle, and other important and beautiful parts of downtown Washington. Good price for the location, however parking is not included in the cost of the hotel. The bed was extremely comfortable and temperature controls were very reactive. It's a pretty cut and dry room, but for the price, other equivalent chain hotels can't compete.

Nice location, meets all expectations as being a city hotel. Everything was as it should be... Well,.... parking is expensive... we knew that , still could be much cheaper than the ordinary car park rates...

Had a terrific stay at the Washington Plaza. The hotel staff was friendly, smiling, and courteous. The foyer and elevator banks were spotlessly clean. Got to our room and it was nice and clean, cold AC, comfortable bed. I really liked the dresser storage setup here. The location was convenient, about 15 minutes from Reagan Airport and within walking distance of the Metro. Bike share stands were close by and there is a CVS about a 2 minute walk away (turned out to be a lifesaver!) The only cons I had were the outside noise from the traffic around Thomas Circle, the keycards to the room were finicky, and while it did have a roll-in shower, there was no seat for a handicapped person to sit on. Overall a great stay, I would definitely stay here again.

this hotel is great to walk to all the attractions. You feel very safe in this neighborhood. My husband and I walked to dinner in China town the very first night at 11:00pm.

Pleasant hotel in a very convenient location. It is, however, a bit far from the mall if you are in DC for sight seeing. The staff were wonderful. The internet worked fine. The rooms are a bit small, but it is the best value in the area.

The room was comfortable and cozy. From the hotel you can walk to the White House and many other attractions. The restaurant and bar were convenient, and the staff was great.

Great locations for visiting DC

It was in a great location, an easy walk to all the monuments. The room was big, clean and comfortable for a great price. My only complaint was that is was cold the first night and the heating was not working properly. However, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The service was excellent, prompt, and thoughtful. They offer cab service in the lobby and there is a convenient Bike Share across the street that is inexpensive and a fun way to see the city. It was a nice walk to the National Mall but the city feels very safe. There are scores of restaurants and bars around the hotel. We tried the Daily Grill, which I recommend, and we had to try Ben's Chili Bowl. I would recommend this hotel for those who plan to visit Washington D.C.

Overall I was very pleased with my stay. Hotel was a great value. Rooms small but nicely furnished. Perfect location. Walking distance to museums and Mall. Bike station and metro also close. Parking garage with reasonable rates and easy to access car. I would recommend this hotel and will stay again next time I go to DC.

Short stay. GOod as always. Management were excellent as usual.
