St. Gregory Luxury Hotel And Suites - וושינגטון

Ideal location for me. Very, very nice rooms. Lobby and entrance are nothing fancy so the room was almost a surprise. I'd give it 4 stars.

when you can score a good price, StGregory is more than a fair deal. Parking is convenient but pricey ($41), but if you need a car, and you get a good rate on the hotel itself, its a great package

The hotel itself was very nice - our room was spacious & clean. However, the reservations staff was not very helpful or professional when I called ahead to inquire about parking, which is limited to small vehicles (below 6') & is $35 + tax. The AC unit in our room did not work well, if at all. Walking distance to Dupont Circle Metro.

It was great, sorry I could not stay longer.

Very nice and relaxing

Very nice stay. The only problem is that the TV did not get the NBC Sports Network, formerly Comcast Sports Net. I missed the overtime period of the Caps game becuase of that.

Nice hotel, great food at the restaraunt within. Rooms were on the small side but nice. Able to walk a mile or so to the White House and other memorials.

I had a mini staycation with a friend and needed a hotel with a reasonable price. Considering the are (the "golden triangle"), I think I got a great deal. Their lounge has awesome specials: $5 cocktails, martinis, and apps all day. I would definitely stop there again when I am in D.C. I didn't need any service, so I can't speak on that. However, I did notice some dishes in the hallway for my entire stay (Saturday to Sunday). The hotel is older but not in a creepy / uncomfortable way. The room was VERY clean. I checked the mattresses and they were in great condition. I would definitely stay there again.

Cleanliness of Hotel, Great Location

Clean, spacious rooms. Located close to lots of happening things. Air conditioning was irregular overnight. Service was spotty.

I really liked this hotel and all the touches it had. The amineties were good and it was in a location close to all the things I need when I travel on the road.

Save for the little mix-up at the check-in desk, everything went very well. I really liked how compact my suite was - although I could not find the mugs from which to drink the coffee I made. Either way, I was happy. I really liked my hotel and I intend to stay there next time I am in D.C. It is also very conveniently located near my office.

The Gregory is an old hotel with some of the 'wrinkles' but a lot of compensating charm. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bar is very nice with great prices. The location is good. The service excellent

Unfortunately my king size room was unavailable but they offered me a suite upgrade for about $30 bucks. Will definitely stay here again.

I had taken the red eye and arrived very early. I was met with the rudest night desk clerk. She explained my options and if I could have I would have booked another hotel. When I returned later in the afternoon, the two guys at the "day" desk were terrific, very accommodating and extremely helpful with transportation etc. All other staff were very helpful and courteous. I would not have known that after that night clerk experience.

Our second time here, good location, great staff, very clean room, would stay again.

Our King deluxe suite room was huge, and we booked last minute so we got a great deal. It was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The service was okay, not great, but it certainly didn't get in the way of our stay.

Great location and really comfy bed and pillows. Unfortunately, we were in the room right by the elevator, so noise was an issue.

We spent only one night in the hotel.It was clean and comfortable.

I would not stay there for long. No breakfest, no free internet.

We had an outstanding four night stay at the St Gregory this April. The location is close to everything, the staff was very friendly, and the room was luxurious. The restaurant/lounge made the stay exceptional. This is a luxurious property at a Holiday inn price.

With some reluctance we booked at the St.Gregory instead of one of the larger chains. VERY GLAD we did. As it was Cherry Blossom Festival going on in DC rooms were tight and we thought to give the St. Gregory a chance from the reviews online. They were quite accurate with a very nice hotel in a great location. Our room was even upgraded to one of the Signature Suite room with a wrap around balcony. Superb! Will definitely stay there again and highly recommended.

The hotel was nice and convenient to Dupont Circle. It is a good 15-20 minute walk to the Mall, but on a nice day isn't that bad at all. The room was a good size and clean. Overall a good hotel.

Hotel is not a $400+ a night hotel. It better be a mid-$100s rate to be a deal, parking is another $42 with tax.

Overall my stay at the hotel was comfortable. The staff was friendly.

Our stay was wonderful! The hotel is in a great location, right in the Golden Triangle District, a $6 cab ride away for Georgetown & the museums, resturants, & movie theather. The suite we upgraded to for a small fee was absolutely nice. Full kitchen, king bed, living room area & 2 tv's. Will definatley be returning to this hotel again.

Great deal on the room. Staff was very courteous and friendly. Room was gorgeous. Our two young girls enjoyed the room. Free champaign in the room for the parents almost made up for the $40+ mandatory valet parking. The hotel was father away from the white house than original website said. Almost 2 miles, or an $8 cab ride. Very nice area with lots of eating places near by. We used a cooler and the in room refrigerator to save money.

We were on a small family vacation, so we really didn't stay in the room that much. The beds were comfortable, the showers hot and the service was very friendly. The hotel was within walking distance of several good restaurants and relatively close to the metro.

Everything fine. New mattresses needed!

The hotel was great and the room was spotless and comfortable. Unfortunately we were just over the loading and garbage area and it was busy and noisy from early morning on with all sorts of pick ups and deliveries. Great place, just avoid the north end of the hotel.

Good location for my business. Nice bar area, staff friendly. Decor a little tired in the room but clean and adequate. Service was good. I got a reduced rate but would have been upset to pay the regular rate given the general tenor of the hotel.

wonderful staff, and delicious food at the attached restaurant - -quinoa salad and also the salmon excellent. Hotel receptionist extremely nice and helpful.

I was disappointed in this property. Based on the photos o. Their website and the $300 price tag, I was disappointed to find a somewhat outdated, dimly lit room with motel-style heaters in the bedroom that were not effective or easy to use. The service was very pleasant and accommodating, and the room and linens wer clean, but I was disappointed with the overall appearance and functionality of the room. Perhaps the addition of a working kitchen and extra living space would be worthwhile for a long trip or family, but as a business traveller, I was looking for something more open and airy.

Had a conference at National Geographic headquarters, this hotel was 4 blocks away on M at 20th. Great value for money given the location. Staff was charming, happy, making me feel really welcome (not easy!). Small check-in counter and building has other tenants (people at ground floor restaurant-bar). Room decor was dated but clean and well kept. Front looking 2nd floor room was a bit noisy (light sleepers beware) but did not bother me at all.

I took my daughter for an impromptu trip to DC and got a truly incredible room rate at the St. Gregory. The rate was so good that I expected little but the hotel was truly luxurious and the staff could not have been more pleasant. The location is more Foggy Bottom/Georgetown than DuPont Circle and just a few blocks from Metro and great Georgetown restaurants .

Booked this at the last minute via phone. Gave operator criteria and she nailed it. Very clean! Loved the toiletries that were supplied. Secure. Elevators require key swipe to use. Small gym would be only down side. Surprised to find full kitchen included at such a great price. Extremely helpful staff. We will definitely return.

Awesome hotel & got a great deal on hotels.com. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

I wouldn't call this a luxury hotel. Its fine. I woudl say that they need to have a bedbug consultant come in. It was clean, and the mattress did have an allergy zip wrap. but they had dust ruffles towards the ground (a definate no-no) in these bedbug times. the decor was a bit sad and certainly outdated. Be aware, these are more suites with full kitchens. a bit odd for sure if you aren't looking for it or expecting it. The TV in the bedroom was in the closet and the doors didn't really open wide enough to see the full picture. good TV, but not great if you only see 90% of the screen. Its a bit odd and certainly not luxury by any stretch. but if you want the opportunity to cook in your room, it could be good.

The doorman Moses was always great to all of our group. He was friendly and remembered each of us. It was personalized service. It was a pleasant way to enter and exit the building.
