The check in was more helpful until they saw we booked on-line. They made a point of telling me that I could have gotten better rates by booking direct. We also asked for a room close to elevators and we were put at the room that was as far away as possible. Also the ice machine was on the other floor. Nice hotel, nice rooms.

I was pleased with the area of the hotel, most the time it's about location. Where the hotel was made it easy to get around for a decent price.

We had a group of relatives and friends come down for UT graduation and booked 5 rooms at SpringHill. The hotel staff was very accommodating in making sure that our rooms were clustered together. The rooms were very nice and roomy enough for a family of 4 or 5. The location was good too. We walked across the street for dinner one night were close driving distance to campus (for the graduation) and even got a little shopping in nearby. There was a decent selection for breakfast, and my kids enjoyed the indoor pool. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to others.

Very difficult to navigate the parking area to actually get to the hotel and, once there, difficult to discern which is their parking and where you cannot and will be towed. The bed was comfortable but the suite area, the sofa and all were NOT. Since you pay for a suite for that extra room to relax, this is a concern. The pull out was cheap and my daughter had a hard time sleeping. Breakfast was meh. The location was outside of Austin but that made it affordable. One of the clerks was sitting on the counter when we arrived and had to hop off to help us.......um.....

great nights rest

It was a very nice 5 night stay for myself, wife, and two teenage boys.

Particularly enjoyed the indoor pool and spa. We enjoyed them and they were well kept.

The wi-fi in my room was not that great in spots. Other than that, everything else was just fine. Will stay again.

By far the best value. The hotel was very nice, my room was nicely furnished with modern/up to date everything. I'm usually pretty picky & I have to say I was very impressed with what the level of accomodations were for the very reasonable rate. The free breakfast was more than adequate & the staff was great. No undue noise, very clean & tastefully decorated.

We've lived in Austin before and stayed at other hotels in the area. Our stay here surpassed our expectations. The staff was friendly, the facility is well located and very clean. The updated contemporary decor was very hip! The continental breakfast was large and quite delicious! We'll be staying here on our next trip again, for sure.

Great place for a quiet getaway weekend.

Attempted to take a shower the night of arrival. The shower head leaked & when turned from right to left to control the leak, water sprayed the ceiling & water leaking on the floor. Due to time of arrival, it was late, therefore, I decided to take a bath instead of a shower. The next morning, I reported the shower head problem, a maintenance person was sent to the room, and the problem was evaluated; determined that a new shower head would need to be replaced. Shower head replaced by maintenance person promptly. This was greatly appreciated. Shirley

They were very accommodating to my needs. Rooms very clean. Very close to shops.

Very clean room, convenient to The Domain. Nice hot breakfast!

Our room was very clean and roomy. Beds were comfy. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

What was good: The room was big, clean, and quiet. Although the hotel is right next to a busy highway, and our room faced it, it was very quiet and that helped us to relax. The staff was friendly. The location was convenient to everything we needed on our trip to Austin. What could have been better: The hotel staff liked to knock on our door earlier than we would have liked - they usually started knocking to service our room at around 9 am, on a weekend. In my mind, it's a little aggressive on the part of the room staff to be entering your room that early in the morning. All in all, a very nice stay.

The room was clean, inviting, HUGE, and was perfect for what we needed. The room had a hallway from the door to the kitchen, and the bed was at the very back of the room, so it was relatively quiet. However, the bed was so soft that we had a difficult time sleeping. The hotel was close to Mopac, 183, and relatively close to I-35 (via Mopac and 183). Only 25 minutes to downtown, and only 20 minutes to Cedar Park, so it was in just the right location for what we wanted. Breakfast included the standard juice bar, cereal boxes, bagels/bread, but also oatmeal, scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon, tortillas, cheese, salsa, and a waffle iron. Seating was hard to come by, but not bad for a free meal. The snack bar/pantry was heavily overpriced, but I think that's true of every hotel now. Staff was courteous, though a little loud at the front desk with personal conversations. Overall, I'd stay there again next time.

not a fan of in wall (below window) hvac units. blows across the bed area, for one, are often harder to regulate when the weather's between seasons (warm then cool), as it was in march.

great place. very SLOW to clean the rooms. 4-5pm on one day

I was expecting a little more from breakfast. The waffles looked good but the eggs looked like pancakes. There was hot oatmeal which I didn't try. Nice selection of juices.

Our room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. It was very quiet and we were able to get a very restful night's sleep. We stayed three nights and every night was quiet. Breakfast was good--waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits, bagels, muffins, fruit, oatmeal, juices and coffee.

Location is perfect for my business trips. Clean, comfortable. Good breakfast with self serve waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, tortillas, fruit, juice and whatnot. The a/c was a bit noisy, but not bad.

The hotel was clean, nice and comfortable. Breakfast was good and stocked well. The service was great also.

The site agent had guaranteed adjoining rooms but when I got there, there were only 2 rooms across the hallway from each other. I wished that I had checked with the hotel before checking in that they had 2 rooms connected to each other. Good price although the service could have been better. The TV placement was kind of awkward--between the beds and the living area. Too many Marriott's next to each other with slightly different Model names, confused the cab driver's a bit.

Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel was under renovation during my stay and the lobby was a bit dusty. The gym was all disorganized. The hotel location is inconvenience to get in and out.

We have stayed at the Springhill Suites a few times and will continue to stay at this hotel when we visit from here on out! It's always clean, the rooms are quiet, and the beds are awesome! I also like that each room has a microwave and fridge. My only critique is that it's a little hard to get to coming from I-35. Love this hotel!!

Decent hotel at a decent price. Room was clean, AC worked well. Did not have any problems with noise, room, service or anything else. Stay included breakfast - not a five star meal but hey, it was included in the price so what do you expect? I will definitely consider staying at SpringHill Suites again next time I'm in Austin.

The downside is that the hotel is somewhat hard to get to. It is just north of an exit from the freeway but you can't get to it except by going through the parking lot of a restaurant, around the block or going an extra exit further north and making a u-turn. Once you discover how to get there, the location is good.

Everything is excellent. Good service, nice, quiet and clean. But the room is small for double bed.
