This hotel was very clean and located very close to the highway. It was only minutes from Loch Ness, Culloden battlefields and other interesting sites. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet was good. The room was a bit small for 3 people but still manageble. Would definitely stay there again.

Lovely room within equally lovely hotel. Easy access to shops. Excellent restaurant and bar across car park - as well as the one in hotel

The place is great. service was nice and helpful. The food is good and they give you a decent selection so you have plenty to eat. I know other reviews said negative things about the food and service but we chose to stay here anyway. We had a good experience would stay again.

Nice stopover hotel. It's really clean. If your wanting a hotel close to the action don't book this one.

Only stay here if you need a convenient place to stay from the airport. Staff is discourteous, location is very poor from a night life perspective and the beds are very bad with springs sticking out.

STAFF WERE FRIENDLY ROOM WAS ADEQUATE AND THE BREAKFAST WAS FAR MORE THAN EXPECTED. ALL IN ALL WE WILL USE THIS HOTEL AGAIN.

Nice hotel, shame about the poor breakfast for a Holiday Inn. Edinburgh and Aberdeen are far better than this poor example around breakfast.

My husband and I had a very comfortable overnight stop at this hotel while travelling north. The reception staff were extremely pleasant and thoroughly professional. Our breakfast was more than adequate and, all in all, we could not have had a better experience. Thank you so much.

This hotel was more or less as expected. The room was adequate and reasonably clean. There was a slight dog odour in one of the rooms but I guess this is to be expected for an animal friendly hotel. I feel that the hotel could be lifted a little by updating the curtains and carpet, which are little dated. The express breakfast was better than expected and of good quality. There was a bit of a wait on some of the breakfast items when they had run out which may affect some time savvy travellers. Although out of the city centre it is close to a Tesco supermarket and has plenty of parking available for those touring Scotland by car. Overall it was on par for the money paid.

Perfect location for seeing local sights, and golf. Only grumble to small a tv I room so my son says. He's 7. Overall very good stay and would book again.

always clean and staff polite and friendly. This time the breakfast was disappointing; no fresh juice, no bacon, only fruit was tinned peaches, cold croissants (although stored in a heated cabinet they all seemed cold).

You dont get a lot for your money and the service was not good. was kept waiting at the reception for some time whilst someone was on a very long phone call and given the key to a room that wasnt even ready. This is also a very noisy hotel. I was directed to a pub across the road for an evening meal which was also not very good so would recommend you look further away for decent home cooked food. Would not stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay, took the train to inverness and traveled in and out from the town by bus, only a 5min trip and regular service.There was an very nice pub with good food next to the hotel.

We booked a two bed room. Only one bed in room, and a sofa bed that when unfolded had no bedding on it and it filled the tiny room so that the window, desk and Tv were no longer accessible. We called front desk for bedding. Guy arrived 30 minutes later - didn't knock, just let himself in. Had bedding that didn't fit the bed. They have bar open in reception until 1am which meant lots of drunken teenagers running up and down corridors knocking on random doors for fun. Unfriendly manager not helpful at all.

Nice to have the Snow Goose so close for food etc since the hotel does not have a restaurant. Stay was good and hotel staff very friendly and helpful.

The hotel staff was one of the finest I've ever seen anywhere. These ladies did everything in their power to make sure our stay was perfect. Their smiles and attitudes were leaps and bounds above many other places we've stayed. We were made to feel welcome and they seemed truly happy to have us. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone gong to that area. The location is a little out of the way but well worth it.

Bathroom of our bed room was so smelly. I requested the receptionist at 5pm on the day of stay to please arrange its cleanliness however she didn't send anyone. Overall hotel is at good location.

Bathrooms were so smelly when we checked in. I think hotel staff did not properly clean the bathroom. When we request on reception to clean the bathroom they said " ok we are cleaning but they didn't clean it". Overall hotel is at very good location. Huge space available for parking. This hotel rooms are only recommended for two persons becoz rooms are designed only for two persons. We were four including my wife and two children therefore we didn't feel comfortable. Breakfast was very good.

Very good value and great for the dog - especially grateful we could have him in the bar.

Enjoyed our stay immensely and the service was excellent. We wanted to stay an extra night but the hotel was fully booked. At breakfast Andrea came over to advise they had a cancellation and we got our extra night - what great personal service. The hotel was clean, room well set out with comfy beds and breakfast facilities great. Would visit there again anytime after our positive experience.

Well presented hotel. Well positioned for major travel routes. Helpful staff and excellent breadfast. Overall, good value for money.

room cold although heater was on all day.

Clean & friendly. Breakfast superb even if only advertised as 'continental' as a hot breakfast option is also included (beans, sausages & scrambled egg). Although located on the onskirts of the centre of Inverness this guarantees you a peaceful stay. The pub next door provides good meals although you have to watch as 'last orders' for drinks is 2245hrs although you can get a drink at the hotel bar till 1am abet the drinks are slightly dearer as you would expect. There's also a Tesco's,Burger King, Pizza Hut, & shops such as 'Next' a 5 minute walk away as well as a bus stop which can get you to town. overall a great stay for a weekend away with or without the kids in toe :-)

Very enjoyable stay no complaints. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Room had everything we needed. Breakfast was more than satisfactory. Bed comfortable. Thank You.

The hotel was fully booked and busy, but we had a good nights rest and it was nice and quiet. There is nothing fancy about the Holiday Inn Express, but if you don't want to pay a fortune and want something that is clean and basic, then this is a good option. Just make sure they don't double charge you - for some reason they wanted to charge us again, even though we paid through Hotels.com. But once they realised their mistake, everything was fine and the check-in went quick.

This was a fantastic hotel. Clean, comfortable room. Really great breakfast considering it was continental. There was good, warm food as well as cereal and fruit and yogurts. The staff was very friendly. There was a shopping center just down the road with a Burger King and a Pizza Hut and a cinema. Only about a 15-20 minute drive to Loch Ness, which was really easy! Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel was clean and breakfast was good. We where staying two adult and two kids to a room which was a little bit tight on space. There is a pub a cross the car park which serves pub meals which was good, beyond that food in the area is limited. There is a supermarket, pizza hut and burger king almost next door but to get to it you need to drive a car. Hotel Ok but wouldn't recommend it.
