there was a very rude clerk at the front desk that asked me and my husband where we were going and what room we were staying in, without a proper or formal greeting. He was extremely disrespectful.

I wish I remembered the name of these front desk women. Not very approachable, they don't portray this open door policy at all. James on the other hand is cool man. His eyes are very warm and open.

Awesome inside. Disappointed view is obstructed.

Location is good downtown . I got free breakfast gap to go. Recommend hotel

Comfortable and quiet

since there's no more cleaning during our stay, the housekeepers should check if there's coffee or if needs towel.

Used to be an apartment building, if that says anything.

It's not a top notch 5 star hotel but that's not what you paid for anyways amazing for the price of stay

Close to shopping, restaurants, MESS where we attend functions, etc.

On top of having the best staff & a complete, full kitchen in every room, they now offer "grab & go" breakfast. I appreciate the honest name. Fresh &packaged muffins, selection of coffees, Quaker bars & cereals, fresh fruit, hot coco packs etc. During day you can grab a pack of microwave popcorn! No pool or gym but they have laundry room & BEST location! Price usually amazing. I stay here whenever possible.

Perfect location. Downtown but street parking avail & free Friday eve till Mon morning. Tons on restaurants, stores & few bars within steps. Full kitchen & laundry facilities. Great place.

Loved the location, parking was a real issue as there were not always spots available even though we had paid for one on the hotel grounds. Furniture was very dated, had very little cutlery etc in the supposedly fully stocked kitchen. Linen for the pull out couch smelled dirty and the blanket was full of holes. Housekeeping only came once during our stay, was unaware that this would be the case. Better value available elsewhere. Supposedly undergoing renovation but don't see any changes except for the name.

I couldn`t seem to get any cold water out to bathroom sink unless I let it run for a long time. Someone could get burn that way.

The hotel was great. The staffs are nice and polite. The room was clean and big. The location is so convenience. Lots of restaurants there. If I have a chance to go back to Ottawa. I will go back to stay there again for sure :)

Nicest room we've stayed in since we've been staying in this hotel. This is the fourth or fifth stay and always satisfied. Do not like the parking charge at all.

Great. Minor complaints were fridge noises in middle of night...bathroom sink had 2 hot water taps, no cold! Also, room a bit too warm overnight. Staff very helpful and friendly.

It was a nice hotel to stay for the night. The room was clean and comfortable, but we did not like seeing the plastic wrap sealing the window.

Definitely coming back!!!having a little kitchen was a big help for us.

My only problem was that we heard a little dog barking in a room next door. 2 nights in a row. When I complained, they did offer me a rebate. Thank you!!

We had a great time at City Hall ice rink which was just steps away from the hotel. I didn't stay long enough to experience the hotel fully, but I would recommend to my friends and families. The location was great and the street parking was free for overnight and had to pay meter parking in the morning for an hour which worked well with us.

Imagine an apartment building with hotel services and that's what its like there. Fully equipped kitchen, usually a huge balcony though on this trip I did not have one. They've made some changes since my last visit. New flat screen TVs and new bedding. They still have smoking floors available which is great for me. There wasnt a balcony in this one but sliding doors with a barrier than leaves about 6 inches of space, which is strange. The hotel should clean this space as its filled with garbage and bird poo. No pool or gym but that's not what counts for me. I prefer having a full kitchen since my stays tend to be.. well.. extended. (bad pun) Im always happy with this place and the staff are great!!!

Really calm good service no housekeeping though

Great place to stay. Wifi works. Things they can improve on is vending machines, bar needs to stay open later and parking should be provided free of charge for ppl who are staying at the hotel. Either than that great hotel and great prices.

The room was clean, but one plate had been stored dirty. There was only hot water running from the hand sink faucet and we were note able to get a café latte from the restaurant (broken machine). No big deals, but one thing really annoyed us : an amazing noise coming out from a room two doors away and on the other side of the corridor during almost the whole second night. There were at least 20 teenagers in there. We called the reception desk to complain about this disturbance. The noise stopped after that, probably because these guests had finally left (around 4 am, after probably waking up the whole storey while finishing their party in the corridor) and because we went to ask a second time the occupant of the room to lower the chatting and the screaming, and advise her we would call the reception desk. Despite this, it was a good stay for the price asked. I know that the hotel cannot be hold for responsible for the noise every of their guest make, but I would just recommend that the receptionist be alert of the possibility of improper conduct when such a gang walks by he or she to take the elevator. However, this will not prevent us to stay in one of your establishments in the future.

It was good. BUT, would be better if our room is further from elevator. Because the sound of it, was quite noisy at night

The hotel is located near the busway, which in Ottawa is a substantially more user friendly and convenient trait than one might think. The staff was friendly, and the room quite nice, especially considering the low prices. The one issue I had was that the elevators were absolutely tiny, which caused trouble whenever myself or anyone else in them had any bags with them. That said, I consider such an incredibly trivial issue.

I was disappointed about the location of the two rooms. I had been promised that they would be side by side so we could be close to our grandchildren but instead , one room was on the 4th flloor & the other on the 8th. There were not enough towels in the room that our daughter & her husband shared with their 3 young children . There were only 2 & they were not changed the following morning. We liked being close to the canal so we could skate. We also liked having the restaurant in the building - especially when the weather was so cold. G,Groves

Simple but has everything home does.ie full kitchen. Smoking floor. Lacks what hotels have ie pool& gym

the hotel was a good value for the paid rate, the hotel and the guest room were clean and friendly. The parking cost an extra $15 a day, but that is still better than the other options that close to everything downtown. I would stay at this hotel again.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Erin at the Front desk is very courteous and very helpful as are all the hotel staff. Good hotel at a very reasonable rate.

Room was very nice and modern. Staff disorganized at 3pm check in. Off site parking costly. Outrageous. Wifi good. Short walk to city hall and attractions.

Great place if you're only using it for a place to crash. It wasn't very up to date as far as looks but since my wife and I were out exploring Ottawa, we didn't stay in the room too long. Also, when I booked it said there was a continental breakfast but when I arrived there was none. I'll be trying a new hotel if I'm ever back in Ottawa.

As usual, we are always satisfied. The people were very professional, friendly, helpful, accommodating. The restaurant was convenient and offered good choices and reasonable prices. Great access to all the events of Winterlude. Will hopefully be back again next year.

Great location, clean room, friendly staff, hallways were a bit dated in terms of furniture, but everything else was fine. And lowest price around!

My recent stay at hotel was fine. Other than hotel hospitality things looks good. I have asked to call Taxi at front desk(Emily) and she was not at all attentive to get me taxi. Have to wait for more than 30 min and ask again and again to get a taxi. Finally other receptionist help me getting Taxi to the next destination. Other than Hotel crew hospitality Stay at Extended Stay Deluxe is good. Thanks!

I was disappointed in the overall stay. There was an empty kleenex box with no replacement, only one small pack of dish detergent for two two days worth of meals, the hot tub was not working, the hairdryer also didn't work and the maid woke us on our last day at 8 although check out was not until 11. The location was great but there are so many other hotel in the area that would have been more enjoyable to stay at. I go to Ottawa several times a year and will never stay at this hotel again.

Comfortable and clean. Suggestion, if you can mention on your website that there is an extra charge for parking, daily rate plus tax.

the hotel is in a very good position to see downtown ottawa; room was clean and confortable; we didn't get any breakfast though, it doesn't seem really honest to advertise a room with continental breakfast included and then say it is not when the customer arrives there....
