Perfect location. Staff were helpful and friendly. The air vent in our bathroom was broken so that's why we gave a 4 for maintenance. Work out room had everything we needed. Breakfast was really nice.

Great value for the $$!

Everything wss great with a couple of exceptions. Bathroom fan was making a rattling sound and the tv list said they had HBO, but we went through all the channels and no HBO. When we called front desk the help said she would find out what channel, but never called back. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was good.

This was my second trip, the only issue I experienced was being locked out of my room on two consecutive days. I had to have the key re-established both times which was very inconvenient, especially when my hands were full both times!

Outstanding hotel, front desk staff and amenities, at any price. For the room rate, this hotel should be full every night. Friendly and helpful front desk staff, very nice rooms, inside swimming pool and only about 1 mile from the interstate exit but far enough so there was no noise. Small fountain and pond near front entrance with small "peeper" frogs was a nice change after spending all week in urban hotels.

Paid with Paypal, quick and easy transaction. It's a great place to stay. It's out of the way though, we were doing the Portland car swap meet. The breakfast is awesome, filling and plentiful! The only thing we didn't like was the dirty water in the pool and spa, it was a nasty green color and the water really stinks like a swamp. They didn't clean it while we were there, they just filled the spa with more water. Other than that it's a bangin cool hotel and I recommend it to anyone!

Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

I absolutely love this hotel and I stay in it whenever I travel to Washington. It is close to two major freeways as well as to many food locations. It is also a short drive away from the mall and to major cities like Portland. The hotel is well maintained and very clean and has 24-hour pool/spa access, a gym as well as a wide variety of breakfast choices in the morning. It's a quiet place to stay (unless the frogs outside in the pond are singing) and the staff are friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone need somewhere to stay in Vancouver.

We had a billing issue but it was resolved promptly after contacting the hotel. Very clean and quiet. I didn't try the food, but there's plenty of restaurants nearby if they don't have what you want. A good place overall.

We found the hotel to be one of the nicest we've stayed in for our business trips. The location is very convenient to surrounding businesses and restaurants, while still being in a quiet area away from traffic noise. The room was very clean, comfortable & spacious. Our complimentary breakfast was delicious and more than sufficient. And the staff was very attentive and welcoming. We will definitely stay there again.

We were on our way to Portland for an early morning appointment, this was a great place for the stay. Even though it is right off the highway it was very quiet. We got in late, but the staff was there to greet us and it was a very quick check in process. Beds were comfy and the room was very clean. We left too early for breakfast but the area for breakfast was nice.

I got a room for my wife just so she could have some time away from our kids and just have her "me" time for a couple of nights. There was nothing special about the place but for $65 you can't ask for much. No mini fridge or micro was surprising because I thought it was pretty standard to at least have a micro in every room. Thin walls as well. Loud voices carry over or other "sounds", but good thing that it was just noisy preteens that were excited to have their own room. In all, I thought I might have received a great price for a hotel that received good reviews, but really did pay for a room that didn't deserve to be rented out for more than I payed for.

Nice cozy fitness, pool & spa. Decent rooms. Wifi accessible. Friendly staff. Adequate continental breakfast-but no hot cocoa or mint tea :(

This hotel is a wonderful place to stay. The staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are always clean and comfortable. The breakfast is good as well.

Friendly and professional woman greeted me upon check in. A welcoming plate of warm chocolate chip cookies were sitting on the counter which was a nice touch. In addition to the complimentary cookie, I was also offered bottled water. Overall, convenient location, great service, clean and budget friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Very convenient to the freeway access. Great breakfast place (Biscuits) nearby. Quiet location. Will definitely stay again.

I was very impressed with Gateway Inn Express. It was relatively low-priced but the quality was fantastic! The room was clean, the amenities were great, the pool/spa was open 24-hours, and it was close to restaurants/shopping as well as only 15 minutes from Portland.

The location is perfect, located next to I-205 and I-5 with lots of conveniences close. The actual location is quiet and next to wooded areas providing serenity. Very nice breakfast and staff, all at a very good price.

Very nice hotel for any price. Great desk staff & nice full breakfast with biscuits & gravy to die for. A bit out of the way, which results in its location being very quiet with a service station and small store for snacks about a 1/2 block away.

The room was nicer than I expected. Hotel itself as well as room was very clean. The pool area was also very clean and pleasant. The staff and managers were very kind and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a nice place to stay in Vancouver, WA for a pretty decent price. A note if you are staying there would be to make sure you have the directions to the hotel, it was a little hard to find. All in all good stay and I would definately stay there again.

We had stayed there several years ago and didn't know the name had changed. We booked online and where pleasantly surprised when we found it to be the same place we had stayed before. Good stopover place when heading north - quiet and comfortable.

hot breakfast served--it was adequate.

We booked our room at 10:00pm as we were too tired to continue driving. Our room, the property & staff was so above expectations, our room was spotless, Jeff at the front desk was very helpful & knowledgeable, he is an artist in professionalism and friendliness. We will definately recommend this place to all our friends and look forward to our next stay. The only downside we had was that after booking, there was a mixup and another party also booked our room at the same time and we ended up in a smoking room, we slept with all the windows open due to the odor. But again, this was no ones fault and all the other ammenities balanced it out for us.

We stayed on the second floor, my only complaint was that the laundry was being dried on the main floor directly below us, and the fumes from the gas dryer came into our room with the air conditioner on, very unpleasant.

Tidy. Pool free breakfast good rate.

Over all pretty happy with the stay. Quit and safe location. Can't beat free breakfest. Front desk was pretty nice and helpful.

Did a last minute booking because hotels nearer to airport were all full. Was told that it would take 40 min to airport at 8 am in morning. However, it took about 10 min and no problems. Hotel was fine and convenient for I205 and mall-type restaurants - good enough for us. Clean and quiet and good value.

Towels and drink glasses need to be upgraded.

Nice, brand new looking place. Clean, quiet, comfortable. Staff very friendly. Nicely done!

This is still a decent place to stay but you can really tell the ownership has changed - soap the size of a postage stamp, empty toilet paper rolls, sub standard TV's and not nearly as clean as it used to be.

Great pool. Very nice room. Great price. Would stay again.

On this particular trip I stayed at 4 hotels across Oregon and Washington and hands down, this was the best stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great for a hotel continental style (although I did not notice a waffle maker). The pool and other features were also wonderful. if you plan to venture around the hotel, there is probably not too much around; however, with the money I saved by staying here rather than somewhere else it was well worth the stay!

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The price was very reasonable. The rooms were up to date with modern decor. The housekeeping staff did an awesome job with their daily cleaning. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Our room was not ready when we got there and we had to wait 3 hours to get a room on the same floor as the other party we were traveling with even though we asked to be next to each other. When we did get our room there were no bath towels. On the other hand, they were completely booked and the desk staff were extremely nice and responsive to our towel dilemma so it made it impossible to be too angry. The breakfast was tasty for a continental and the beds were very comfortable. The staff saved it though.
