The Coppid Beech Hotel - ברקנל

We very much enjoyed our stay at Coppid Beech.Very easy to find, a stunning looking hotel. The staff were very helpful, surroundings excellant & we enjoyed our stay.

We had a suite which was the biggest hotel room we have stayed in in the uk . We wouid definately stay again

I stay here every week having stayed in just about every hotel and B&B in the area over a period of 10 years.The hotel can look a bit tired but the staff are very friendly, the food is consistently of a high standard and you know that you're going to get a good night's sleep. My only criticism would be that it can be a bit cold in the winter but if you ask reception they'll provide extra heaters. For families the rooms are ideal as they are much bigger than usual especially if you get a suite.

My fourth stay at the Coppid Beech Hotel was just as good as previous ones: the hotel is very comfortable, and very professionally run, and all the staff extremely helpful and kind. Good facilities - fridge in the room; nice pool and excellent jacuzzi, steam room and sauna (though the changing and shower area could do with sprucing up). A wider choice of well-priced snacks and light meals would make the experience even better, especially when staying there with children.

Very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel. it was clean and quiet which was contrary to some of the reports I had read. Didn't get to the spa or swimming pool so I cannot comment on those things. Room was a good size and comfortable. I would stay there again.

We tend to always stay at the Coppid Beech when visiting this area as we find the hotel clean, competitively priced and friendly.

We had booked 4 rooms as there were 8 of us travelling. On the whole the stay was very pleasant except that one couple were woken up at 4am by the air conditioning making a loud noise. This lasted for an hour before they were provided with a different room at 5am. This room was very cold so not a very comfortable night's sleep but the hotel offered no compensation which was disappointing. For the remaining 6 of us, the stay was very pleasant, rooms were clean and breakfast was good with plenty of choice

The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant staff managed large numbers and stll looked after the individual. Would definitely use this hotel again as it is one of the best experiences we have had lately.

overall the hotel was pleasant although very dated and the bathrooms needed modernising the bath leaked leaving a very slippery wet puddle on the floor all the fittings were loose and hanging off the walls, my main complaint was when we booked from your website we were given the option of twin room or queen size bed so we opted for queen size bed on arrival it was a king size we complained and were told the hotel was full so we were stuck with a small bed and got very little sleep! I think you change this option and make this clear on your website it was very misleading

stayed here the night before going to legoland, had a great time in the pool with the children. breakfast was great...would recomnend

Absolutely delighted with the stay, the rooms, the service, the excellent staff, we enjoyed it so much we never went to Lego Land in the end, we never wanted to leave & will remember the occasion for a very long time. Give yourself a hug Coppid Beech Hotel:-) . ***** .

The coppid beech has not changed in about 20 years, it has a kind of cute 80s feel. The rooms are clean compfortable but the hotel could do with updating at some point .

This hotel is in a good location and looked after well with friendly helpful staff. It's nice and clean with good food.

Family room was fantastic. Plenty of room, privacy from children to enjoy the jacuzzi bath when they asleep! We went to Legoland the following day, easy to access. We didn't use restuarant in the evening (looked over priced but nice) as easy access to Frankie & Bennies.

I only spent one night here on a business trip however I was very impressed with this hotel. The room was quite spacious and very comfortable and the staff were all extremely polite and professional. The food was quite good and the in-room tea service was lovely as it included china cups. Internet connection in the room was complimentary and better than many hotels where I've had to pay for it. I highly recommend this hotel.

The best hotell I have stayed at, first rate service, spotlessley clean and lovely decor especially in the corridors where you exit the lifts to see troical fish in huge walled fish tanks. Stay with confidence for a peaceful air conditioned nights sleep!

I found our stay at Coppid Beech great, the room had a double & two single beds ( which is great as most hotels only provide a pull out sofa bed), all facilities were clean.the breakfast was lovely, they even cooked a special breakfast for our son who has certain dietary needs...very happy with our stay and would stay again.

Over all we were very impressed with the Hotel. The room was a family room which had extra space for the kids and proper beds rather than put you ups that you normally get. Breakfast was included, although buffet the food was a good quality. Unfortunately, although it was a nice day, there are not any gardens to sit in or for the kids to play. The biggest down side was the swimming pool area - this needs a big clean up and a lot of TLC.

This hotel must have been something when it was opened in the early 90's. It is stll impressive now, though the room colour scheme and decor was a tad old fashioned to our tastes. But this a petty niggle.because the level and standards of service from staff makes your stay a pleasure. We had a great stay and other than a perference choice in decor have nothing but praise for the hotel. With a SatNav there is a multitude of entertainment and places to visit nearby. Central London is only a 20 min journey from Slough.

Absolutely smashing hotel. the best and friendliest staff i have encountered in a long time in a hotel. very convenient to legoland. food upstairs in lobby superior to downstairs restaurant.

I checked in with my 3 sons for one night so that we could do Legoland. What I can I say.. It was the best family room experience that we've had! There was so much space and the fact that there were 2 single beds for my teenagers instead of them having to share a fold out sofa .. Fantastic! The staff were very polite and helpful, even when I had to call to find out how to turn on the lights they didnt laugh! The hotel facilities were lovely. Breakfast was lovely and dinner was great. Perfect hotel for what we needed. Close to Legoland and warm, cozy, friendly atmosphere on our return! Would definately stay again and highly recommend the Coppid Beech Hotel!

The hotel is great, nice facilities, nice room, lovely breakfast, but our stay was ruined by the "in room" entertainment! There was live music playing in the hotel which could be heard pounding in our room until 2.30am. When I took this up with reception in the morning I was told I was in the quietest part of the hotel, which was little consolation. We were camping in Somerset the following night and had a better nights sleep in a tent!!

A really nice lobby and handy lcoation for Bracknell. Rooms were nicely decorated and beds comfy.For the price it was certainly very good value for money

We were looking for a hotel near legoland to stay in with a touch of luxury for the family. We had a fantastic suite with lots of space, a separate area for the children and a lovely spa bath. My children loved it. It was very clean and the staff were very welcoming. We will definately use again.

The hotel is a very nice one, however, i requested a Queen Anne bed and got twins, there was no functional heating in the room. The resteraunt was lovely and the bar area very cosy and welcoming

Room was nice, beds were nice...I liked that they had duvets and comforters on the bed rather than a bedspread. The staff was extremely helpful and printed out google map directions for us to get to the airport the day we checked out. The only negative was the restaurant called "Keller" something. Staff was great, food was awful ( and a bit pricey) Don't spend your money in there!

We stayed for 1 night with two boys (15,16 years). The room was large and comfortable. The boys had 2 beds in a different part of the room separated by an arch. Little dated, the carpet was worn and the TV was not a modern flat screen. The boys complained about the floor around the swimmingpool that was not very clean... Overall, it is a nice hotel were a some renovations would be welcome.

We had to ask for the Balcony to be cleaned as it was full of Pigeon mess. Even ater this was done we still couldnt enjoy it as there was a Pigeon Nest on the Balcony next door very dirty! Our room was next to a power supply room and was noisy all night. Nice hotel and food but very let down by thesae 2 things really.

Stayed 1 night. Very fast checkin, no problems with the room. Free soft drinks in the minibar which is a nice feature. Pretty good breakfast. Will stay again.

We use this hotel frequently as we have family members living near by. Our first two nights were fine, but our third night was a nightmare. We had been given a room that had an a-joining door, on the third night there were ladies in the room next door, smoking in non-smoking rooms, arguing and generally partying till 4.30 am. We complained to reception, but apart from clearing the corridor of people with bottles of wine and those slumped in the corridor too drunk to move, they would not address the women in the room. We were moved with our two babies, into two separate rooms on the fourth floor so we could get some sleep. Needless to say, the next morning I complained again and the lovely duty manager let us off with the cost of the nights stay. If travelling with children, request quiet rooms!!

We stayed in a superior room with our 12 year old, the room was huge with an arch way through to a living area. Bit dated but clean and the bed was comfortable. Food was good and service was very good.

The room was very nice and comfortable the general areas/corridors are a little dated but clean. I only ate in the club in the basement as I arrived late but the meal was excellent and the staff very pleasent. I used the quick checkout facilility on the TV but when I went to reception to get my receipt I was informaed that that facility didn't work, this is not a big deal but in a 4 star hotel either fix the facility or remove it.

This hotel is not particularly inspiring, and offers nothing for the health conscious eater. The rooms are often too warm, and if you stay on the top floor be warned - the showers are sporadic to say the least! I stay purely for location and if there was another hotel that was similarly priced I would stay there rather than at the Coppid Beech.
