The Plaza - סיאול

נהדר, מלון מאד חדיש במיקום נפלא. נהנינו ביותר מהשהייה שלנו. מומלץ ביותר!

בסך הכל אנחנו מאוד מרוצים מהמלון הזה. הוא במרכז העיר סיאול קרוב מאוד לאטרקציות התיירותיות העיקריות ולאיזורי קניות ויש כניסה למרכז קניות תת קרקעי ממש ליד המלון. המלון מאוד מודרני והייטקי עם שירות רשת אלחוטית חופשי. הדבר המאכזב היחידי הוא שלמרות שבחרנו לקחת חלק בחיסכון של אנרגייה ירוקה, המצעים והסדינים שלנו לא הוחלפו במהלך שהותינו.

להקשיב ללקוח שלך - זה לא מה שהשוער אמור לעשות? ובכן, כאן ב Plaza הם בעיקר חולמים בהקיץ. בקש מהם הזמנה של מונית למלון ב 5 אחר הצהריים והם בטעות יזמינו ל 5 בבוקר. כשהנהג הגיע וחיכה חצי שעה מוקדם בבוקר, לא היה לו למי לפנות (כי הצוות לא היה בלובי?) אבל עשה לי השכמה טלפונית! נהג מסכן. שירות גרוע. חדר 5 כוכבים אבל 2 כוכבים עבור השירות. מקווה שהם יקשיבו ויפנימו.

מלון טוב עם שרות טוב. אך עם זאת, מדוע לחייב על קפה בחדר בגלל חריגה של כוס אחת? מגוחך! רשת אלחוטית עובדת טוב בחדר, אבל המרחב מוגבל למדי. הליכה קצרה למסעדות ולמחלקת החנות של Lotte שם תוכל למלא את כל הצרכים שלך.

היו לנו 2 חדרי יוקרה תאומים למשך 5 לילות. מלון מודרני מאוד נחמד. אהבתי את המקלחת ואת מתקני הבידה. בנוסף המאפייה Eric Kaser הפועלת מ 7:00 - 23:00 פשוט נפלאה. הלחמים טעימים מאוד. רכבת התחתית ממש אידיאלית במיוחד בחורף והיא מאוד נוחה להסתובב ולראות את העיר סיאול. בהחלט נשהה במלון זה בביקור הבא שלנו.

עברו 8 שנים מאז השהייה האחרונה שלי ב Seoul Plaza והוא לגמרי שופץ ועודכן. אהבתי את מה שהם עשו לו. הכל במרחק נגיעה. המתקנים היו מעולים ונוחים והייתי נשאר שם שוב ללא היסוס.

הזמנתי חדר משודרג עם ספה ושולחן קפה עם מקום במידה סבירה ואהבתי אותו מאוד לאורך 4 הלילות ששהיתי שם. החדר עצמו היה בסכום הגיוני דרך אתר Hotels.com. יש שם 4 מסעדות ללא אוכל קוריאני והן כולן יקרות במיוחד. 90$ עבור כוס יין הבית זה פשוט טירוף. בסופו של דבר הלכתי למקום אחר בשביל הארוחות שלי.

התארחתי במלון פלזה לצורך עסקים למשך שבוע וזו הייתה חוויה מלבבת. הצוות היה ידידותי, החדר היה נקי והמיקום פשוט מושלם - קרוב ל Myungdong ולחנות Lotte Department , קו מספר 2 של הרכבת ה תחתית מגיע מתחת למלון. זה מלון שחובה להתארח בו - קצת יקר אבל בהחלט שווה את $$!

החדרים זעירים. מיזוג האויר לא פעל - וזה עדיין חורף, אבל היה חם מדי בחדרים. רמת השירות נהדרת. החדרים חדישים ומאורגנים באופן יפה. תחנת האוטובוס לשדה התעופה בחזית המלון, שזה סופר נוח.

אשתי ואני התארחנו פה ל 4 לילות. זה היה הטיול הראשון שלנו לסיאול, ובחרתי את המלון הזה בזהירות אחרי שלקחתי בחשבון את המחיר , נגישות למקומות הסעדה, שדה תעופה וכו'. ובסופו של דבר בחרתי בחדר מהשורה הראשונה עם שתי יחידות היות וזה היה גדול יותר וחדר השינה וחדר האורחים היו ביחידות נפרדות. נקודות זכות: 1. הגענו מוקדם בבוקר, הייתה לי הפתעה נעימה כשיכולנו לבצע רישום מוקדם למלון. 2. שירות מעולה ע"י צוות המלון בהעברת המזוודות,רישום לטיולים, שירותי אינטרנט והתייחסות כללית נעימה. 3. זה היה באמת במיקום מצוין , עם גישה נוחה לתחבורה, קניון תת-קרקעי מוקומות הסעדה רבים. 4. אינטרנט מהיר, שזה היה בחינם, היה מהיר ביותר. הגענו לשם ממלזיה שזאת פלנטה אחרת! נקודות לחובה: באופן בלתי מוסבר, ביום השלישי חזרנו לחדר ב 3 אחצ"ה ומצאנו שלא ניקו את החדר. יצאנו לשעה נוספת, ולמרות שניקו את החדר, מצאנו שהעבודה נעשתה בחפזון ומה שנעשה היה רק סידור המיטות ושאיבת שטיחים. לא היו מגבות רחצה להחלפה ולא אריזות משקאות קלים. קרוב לוודאי שלמלון נוצר חוסר פתאומי באנשי צוות, אבל זה לא חזר על עצמו למחרת.

Clean stylish modern hotel with friendly English speaking service in central location one stop away from Seoul Station. Best part is the huge gym located in the adjacent building with large swimming pool, huge exercise room and nice views of downtown Seoul.

Very nice location. In walking distance of shops and restaurants. The hotel was newly remodeled and was at or near 5 star. Very clean. The room had a computer for the toilet and another between the beds for controlling the drapes, temp, phones, etc. The hotel restaurants were quality. The staff was very helpful. I highly recommend the hotel. I stayed for 3 nights at the end of April 2013.

My 2nd stay with the hotel and everything was great like clockwork! Besides quality of service, fantastic cleanliness of room ... the concierge service provided was really helpful. Was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary ticket to Deoksugung, which is located right next to the hotel.

The hotel offered a free ride to Insadong, a great shopping area for artisans. The cost of food in the hotel was expensive, we ventured out to near by Ethnic restaurants and love the food at a very reasonable price.

location is very central and easy to access all must see sights.

The staff was extremely polite and helpful. We were only there for two days and the location was perfect for walking to the palaces and a few of the markets (10-15 minute walk). One palace was right across the street. The room was quiet and beds very comfortable. The decor was nice and very high tech with the lights and shades. We would highly recommend this hotel for its location and hospitality and five star service.

overall, everything is excellent. the hotel bar on ground floor was great as well, morden and good service..

It's a nice hotel in terms of location and comfort. It's just opposite to Deoksugung palace and Namdaemun night market & Myeongdong night market. I strongly recommend this hotel, staff are polite & helpful.

Truly a great hotel. Staff are very helpful and courteous. Decor and rooms are very nice. Being attached to a subway station is very convenient. The only downside is the pool is in another building, you have to cross the street to get there. Also the decor is trying to be super fancy, but some of it is a bit chintzy. For example some of the fixtures for sink, bath and shower are a kind of fake metal that is peeling off to reveal that it's really just coated plastic.

Most amazing room! The view, the bed, the automated lights and curtains, the bathroom with the heated toilet seat and shower with a city view! Best ever.

Excellent hotel, very high tech. The only problem was that the A/C was not really functaioning correctly, or maybe I did not know how to operat it.

Very comfortable stay, will definitely go back, except there is a charge for toothbrush and toothpaste.

Service from check in to check out was excellent. Staff at buffet breakfast coffee house was most helpful ,even gave us a map and talked us through with detailed instructions on how to get to attraction. Concierge was most helpful providing us with tourist info. Every single staff ( bell boy, room service, housekeeping) we met in the Plaza was very friendly n polite. Although room was facing City Hall , the music from the events could not be heard cause of the double windows. We had a great stay at the Plaza. If anything, we had a small problem storing our luggage n clothes as we had stopped by Seoul on our way back from a 2 week trip to Vancouver .

Great hotel, great service and great location. Perhaps it can be the best hotel in Seoul and we highly recommend it to stay.

Best location for public transportation (2 subway lines). There were various events in front of the hotel which was good, but sometimes it generates noise until late night. Good restaurants near by.

Its a hotel thats great for business and holiday trip with family. Within walkable distance to financial hub, shopping malls and eateries. Great comfort linen with state of class room facilities. Would be staying in this hotel for my next visit to Seoul.

Back for the fourth time and have nothing negative to say about this hotel. Always satisfied.

Clean modern rooms, excellent service by hotel staff, comfortable beds all make my stay in Seoul ver enjoyable. The location is awesome - close to many major tourist attractions such as Myongbok Palace, Cheonggyecheon Stream, deoksu Palace, all walking distance. Many good restaurants nearby too. Excellent staff at the concierge recommended several good restaurants and I enjoyed them all. All in all a wonderful stay at The Plaza!

Pleasant, convenient, cozy hotel with a quiet and clean room. It took a little bit longer than expected from City Hall station though.

The plaza hotel allow us to have early check in (~8:00am), we have room immediately and can get rest after transportation. It is very good for my wife and I. And then, i stayed in this hotel during my birthday. And I came back room in my birthday, i received a birthday gift (birthday cake). The taste is good and lots of strawberry on the top. Let me felt touching...., BTW, the location of this hotel is convenience, just next of the city hall station (line 2). walking distance to myeongdong (~5mins). I strongly recommend this hotel to Seoul visitor.

The staffs r helpful and polite. Our room is facing city hall which can see people ice skating downstair. Great hotel in Myeong Dong. very convenience!

I stayed two nights (Club Deluxe - double room) at the Plaza in late October. I don't give this hotel five stars status; I wasn't impressed by the modernity of the room - glassed see-through shower room, automated curtains and lighting etc. I've stayed many three and four stars "business" hotels in Europe and Asia with equal quality in maintenance and service thus honestly speaking The Plaza deserves only near "4 stars" status. The location is as good as other nearby hotels such as Lotte and Westin which have more classy atmosphere with larger rooms. The price at the Plaza simply doesn't match the quality you expect from "five stars". I stayed in another "five stars" hotel nearby one night before my return home and I paid the same price, including a private limo service to Incheon International, club breakfast and a bigger room with fair service as in the Plaza. No recommendation from me, sorry. The Plaza management group should work harder for the betterment.

The room is very sophisticated. It has the great technology with the curtain, light setting. Also the location is just 2 minutes away from city hall station ans stroll away from Myeondong and Namdaemun area. We will definitely staying here if we come back to Seoul.

The hotel is in a great location and we got the view looking over the city hall, downside is that it was very noisy due to the numerous activities that was going on over the week we stayed their, however they do provide ear plugs, but we only got one set, thank goodness my husband had his own :D The room is lovely and very hi-tech, I read reviewing prior to our stay that they were small, but for us both this was fine, as the bed was very comfortable and we didn't spend much time in our room. Only downside were the pillows (too high to sleep on, we ended up throwing them on to the floor and sleeping flat.) Reasons you should stay here: 1. Free wi-fi (personally I think all hotels should offer this) 2. Fully equipped gym (this is in the next hotel, but very close to walk too) 3. Great location, close to the subway and shopping centres (actually you can get to the subway and shopping area via the hotel basement, we only discovered this on our 3rd day) 4. Great places to eat out nearby 5. Staff were always very friendly and polite 6. Beautiful decor Hint: To get to the hotel via Incheon airport , would recommend you get the KAL Limousine Bus, its very spacious, comfortable and clean, to access them go to exit 4, cost no more than 15,000 won (€10)

Brand new hotel opened in 2010. Rooms are spacious and lovely. Gym and sauna are nice and are located in a building across the street. Beware if you take more then 1 coffee pod a day, you will get charged. All the staff spoke great English and were VERY kind and helpful!
