Hôtel Montholon Paris - פריז

It was simply dreadful. Noisy. Scary even. the worst. And the fellow who booked it for us, named Mark, had no idea where it was. He tried to book us in towns outside of Paris. He was totally unequipped to handle the job.

.great location for centre . great staff. but on main road. too much noise at night - restaurant next door. Main road traffic . Passers by shouting all night - no air conditioning- were there in august for hottest week of year.

Great location, great price, and Great service. The front desk guys were very helpful and attentive!!! Love this place!!!

Myself and my boyfriend chose this hotel as it was the cheapest we could find for our weekend (Thursday to Monday) in Paris. The rooms look nothing like what you are shown on the website. We stayed in room number 26 and either the mattress or the bed itself was broken on one side (side nearest the window) and was extremely uncomfortable. There were two bottles of coke in the mini fridge and the expiry date was last year! I realised this too late... The windows opened up on to a construction site/pigeon coop. We were awoken each morning by cooing pigeons or shouting builders. The builders were out front also so i dont think there was any getting away from them! The room was tiny and not the cleanest. I actually felt robbed as i did not feel that i got any value for my money. There were two saving graces, first one was the location as it is in such a brilliant position for getting around and secondly the two young guys working at reception. They could not have been more helpful or nicer. I would not advise anyone to stay here, there are just too many bad things that outway the good. I stayed in a hotel on Rue de Chabrol in 2009 and it was much nicer. The name escapes me at the minute though - sorry!

The Hotel is at the border of the 9th and 10th arrondisements, and is a quick walk to the #7 Metro line which can connect you to most major sights. Owners and staff are all very helpful and accommodating. The rooms are small with little storage space for clothes, yet the bathrooms are modernized and clean. The elevator is tiny and could benefit from a new, clean carpet. Breakfast, for ten euros, is served in the basement room and has fresh rolls, good coffee, cereal, yogurt, orange juice, but no hot food. Rooms on the tiny courtyard side face an abandoned building that is a refuge for an army of pigeons, so the cooing noise can be better than the noise from the street from the other rooms. We had a couple of minor problems with the room in the beginning (safe key didn't work, new light bulb needed), but staff quickly heard and fixed our concerns. The hotel does not have air conditioning. There are good brasseries and restaurants nearby, some ethnic foods including Japanese and Thai among them.

Hotel Montholon is about a 10 minute walk from Gard de Nord train station. Poissonerie metro is about 5 minutes away and takes you to some of the main attractions - Lourve, Notre Dame etc. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. And although breakfast wasn't included in our internet deal, the manager added it for us free of additional charge. The rooms are fairly typical in size for a Paris hotel - very small by US standards but fine for a weekend break. The only real problem for me was that my room was on the ground floor next to the street and was very noisy with traffic and people walking by.

Hotel was clean and neat and the staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent location--Gare de l'East is within walking distance, Metro and bus stops are a few feet away. Lots of reasonably priced restaurants just a few steps away. Grocery stores and Gallery Lafayette (major retail store) are all within walking distance. Two negatives--elevator is extremely small and no English programming on TV, not even BBC news. The elevator was no problem as I'm of small stature, but I missed knowing what's going on at home and the world; my French not being good enough to understand French language programming.

Bon accueil. Les demandes sont rapidement prises en compte. Ma chambre, en partie mansardée, était mal isolée alors qu'elle donnait sur une rue bruyante. Difficile d'avoir un sommeil réparateur dans de telles conditions!

tres tres bruyant,chambre ne valant pas un 3 etoiles 2 et encore. materiel dans la chambre vetuste, mais chambre propre.

今回ひとり旅で利用しましたが、ホテルの方の対応もよく快適に過ごすことができました。大通り沿いにあり、多少騒音がありますが、あまり細い路地に入ると不安だったのと、地下鉄の駅が近く利便性の良さでカバーできていたと思います。因みに、1階の部屋は下に通っている地下鉄の音がするので、気になる方もいらっしゃると思います。

Accueil chaleureux, dirigeants très courtois et sympa.

Mitigé car j'avais téléphoné pour demander un grand lit et une chambre sur cour dans la mesure où ce déplacement était professionnel et nécessitait une bonne nuit de sommeil. Nous avons eu des lits jumeaux sans étriers pour les retenir ensemble et une chambre sur la rue bruyante d'autant que le double vitrage n'est pas au point, c'est le moins que l'on puisse dire. Par ailleurs si le parquet est beau, il est balayé et non lavé donc en marchant pieds nus, on se retrouve vite avec la plante des pieds noire !!

Bruyant la nuit (proximité rue Lafayette et ancieennes fenêtres en bois. Rapport qualité prix relativement correct.

J'avais demandé une chambre pour deux, et nous avons eu deux lits simples collés l'un à l'autre - Chambre petite - Un peu surévalué je pense - Très bien placé (à côté de gare du Nord et de gare de l'Est) - Réception 24/24

Les chambres qui donnent sur la rue Lafayette sont très bruyantes, même fenêtres fermées par manque d'isolation. Pas de climatisation. Les rideaux n'occultent pas la lumière. Les petits déjeuners sont très basiques. L'accueil est agréable et les chambres plutôt grandes.

Accueil irreprochable, toujours le sourire, toujours prêt à aider, une présence jour et nuit ce qui est rassurant. Propre, facil d'acces à deux pas de la station de métro Poissonnière, et à 15min à pied des GL Haussman, une bonne demi heure à pied du sacré coeur. Un petit restau Italien à coté de l'hotel, bon et pas chèr. Agréable pour passer un petit séjour sur Paris, on y reviendra!

Hôtel correct mais qui ne mérite pas trois étoiles : chambre exiguë et sombre (deux fenêtres minuscules à trois mètres du mur du bâtiment voisin), insonorisation insuffisante, produits de toilette très restreints, rien de prévu pour poser une valise qu'on ne pouvait donc mettre qu'au sol, on n'avait accès qu'à certaines chaînes à la télévision...Certes il y avait deux petits coffres-forts et un mini-bar mais l'intérêt relatif de ces équipements ne compense pas les manques et les inconvénients de la chambre et ne me semble pas suffire pour justifier les trois étoiles de l'hôtel.

Hotel położony jest w odległości ok 1h od wieży pieszo. Miła obsługa. Bardzo małe pokoje. Nie wiem jak posiłki bo nie zamawiałem w hotelu ,obok hotelu znajduje się pizzernia i mała knajpka.

Hotel Montholon on tavalliselle maailmanmatkaajalle kelpohotelli. Hotellin henkilökunta oli ystävällinen. Hotelli sijaitsee lähellä metroasemaa, eikä kävelymatkakaan aivan keskustaan ole mahdoton. Perussiisti hotelli, johon voi luottaa.

personalen är mycket trevlig och hjälpsam. Jag kommer inte besöka det hotellet igen pga att det växte svartmögel runt fönstret i badrummet. ingen ac och det minsta rummet jag bott i. nu betalade vi inte så mycket förvisso men jag tycker att hotell branschen borde ha vissa krav på sig. ingen isolering så man hörde mellan rummen och från gatan mycket väl.

J'ai séjourné récement dans cet hotel et j'avais une chambre coté rue...Le cauchemard !! Un bruit de route permanent car l'hotel est situé à un gros carrefour... Sinon la qualité des chambres est correct, mais le prix est quand même assez élevé !

hotel correct, mais assez bruyant la nuit ...beaucoup de va et vient .. dommage

天井夫高く、広くて清潔な部屋でした。 サービスも行き届いており、他のどの都市のホテルより満足度の高い宿泊ができました。 テレビが一般の放送も有料だったのが、以外でした。

Der var utrolig meget larm fra gaden ( 2 lyskryds - speede op ) Vinduer ud mod gaden. LARM 24 timer i døgnet.

Hotellet´s beliggenhed er centrat . Der er gå afstand til de fleste servædiheder, busholdeplads og metrostation er tæt på.

Det er ikke særlig moderne, men der blev gjort pænt rent og ryddet op hver dag, og personalet var venligt. Vi tilkøbte ikke morgenmad der, men det så okay ud. Vi gik til Louvre, og det tog ikke ret lang tid. Det ligger lige midt mellem to metrostationer. Nok tættest på Metro Cadet.

Das Hotel ist nur eine Métro-Station vom Gare de l'Est entfernt. In unmittelbarer Nähe befinden sich die Opéra und die Galeries Lafayette. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel ist eher klein, die Zimmer sind gut eingerichtet und sauber. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig. Würde das Hotel bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Paris wieder buchen.
