Our stay was very pleasant apart from double booking, when we went to our room there was already someone else occupying it. However this was quickly sorted and they also upgraded us to a lovely room. Will book hotel again or recommend to friends when staying in London.

This was a perfect location for us to stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the room was clean and very comfortable and the breakfasts were fantastic. I cannot think of a single breakfast item which was not on offer.

Staff very friendly and helpful, Room very spacious, Hotel ideally located, Food and drinks well served and presented. Will stay again and would recommend to others.

This was a brilliant little find . Hotel staff were great nothing was too much trouble . Breakfast was lovely and location was great

Having stayed at this hotel before, I was upgraded to the new, ultra modern, superior rooms on the 5th floor. The room had a contempory feel and is packed with all mod cons incl. free wifi. The only complaint was an old fashioned 'non-steam' iron which was out of place with an otherwise super room. Would stay here again.

We spent two nights at the Novotel in Pepys Street from 14-16 April wigh our two sons aged 5 and 2. The location is ideal with it being 100 yards from Tower Hill Tube station and close to The Tower of London. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was ideal with a large double bed and a comfortable sofa bed and it was spotlessly clean. If you have children the hotel provides a free late check out on Sundays till 5pm. This was a great benefit to us as our flight home was on Sunday evening. Overall, we had a great time at tbe hotel and can only offer praise to all the management and staff.

The Hotel was awesome,I had never previously used this chain of Hotels before but will most certainly use them again!! We were upgraded to a Suite when we checked in and the staff were so friendly and welcoming.The Hotel is only a few yards from the Tower Hill Tube Station which made it a perfect location,we didn't eat lunch or dinner at the hotel but if it was anything like the quality and choice of the breakfast then we wouldn't have been disappointed.The Hotel and rooms were extremely clean..i couldn't find a fault with this Hotel,a definite 10/10

Outstanding! Everything we needed was there even a gaming room for children with xbox for two players. Room was clean and had a very nice facilities. In the morning we had breakfast which had a large selection of food for every taste. The hotel itself is located near the London Bridge so we had a nice walk with children around the area. I would definitely recommend it and will use it again myself.

Spent four nights here to base our London experience. Hotel rooms a bit small when sleeping two adults and two children, however this is acceptable as we chose the smallest rooms for the most affordable accommodation, plus the fact we only slept on the rooms and spent the entire stay exploring London. Rooms were clean, storage space was good. Breakfast was included in our stay and I highly recommend the buffet. It was breakfast/lunch in one setting with good quality food regularly topped up. Service staff were great and accommodating, especially when you are respectful to them as they do have to put up with the occasional arrogant customers that think the sun shines out their arses and the staff are their personal slaves. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed our weekend. Everybody was happy with hotel. We decided to go elsewhere for breakfast as £60+ each morning was too expensive for a family of four.

Very friendly staff, even when the hotel was really busy, they were still organised and efficient. Hotel has excellent location, 2 min walk from Tower Hill Underground, and close to Tower of London and Tower Bridge

Stayed at Novotel over easter 2013 , check in very quick and efficient , staff were very friendly and polite . Stayed in room 520 which had a great view of the Tower of London . Although the room was quite small it was suitable for family of four , very clean and comfortable . Buffet breakfast nice , good choice . We ate in elements restaurant and found it to be of high standard good selection on menu and reasonable prices

the breakfast items were really great but the line that we had to wait was really frustating as we waited for more than 30 minutes to be seated, too many people were waiting before us and we were in chaotic situation. the bathroom was blocked and the water was not draining ,we waited for over an hour for maintainance then the drainage problem has been resolved but we suffered from a horrible smell coming outside from the bathroom to the whole room. Location of the hotel was really great ,everything is nearby, staff of the hotel was good and fast in check in and check out.obviously the hotel was not well prepared and organised to welcome people if all rooms are fully booked,even the lifts were busy and needed to waste time in waiting.

Great value for such a good quality hotel. Perfect for families (Lovely touch of a little gift for the kids when you check in). All staff encountered were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The bar had a great atmosphere and drinks were reasonably priced for a London hotel. As was the food in the restaurant which was also of great quality.About a minutes walk to the tube from which you can get pretty much anywhere in only a few stops. Willl definitely be staying again when we next visit London.

It was a perfect location for us, easy to get to and easy to get to the attractions we wanted to see. We are a family with 2 small children who both also enjoyed their stay. We would highly recommend this hotel to all.

good weekend

Loved the hotel, great location to get to and from and explore what london has to offer. As is the case with most hotels in rainy countries the carpet in the room looks a bit sorry, but all else looks modern and nice. Best of all, after a day of walking around the sights, relaxing in the super modern sauna downstairs is a pleasure. It is the bets equipped and decorated I have seen in this price class.

We stayed overnight in London with friends visiting from the United States. We checked in early and were expecting to leave our bags on hold but they not only let us check-in early but upgraded us to executive rooms. The rooms were gorgeous, modern and very clean! The hotel was located directly behind the Tower Bridge tube stop which was convenient for our busy sightseeing schedule. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again. This was our first experience with Novotel.

Perfect location one minute walk to the tube station and a few minutes to The Tower of London. The staff were extremely helpful the restaurant had the feel of a very upmarket restaurant and was reasonably priced. The room was very clean and comfortable and we would definitely stay here again

Very pleasant stay. Family room quite acceptable though the bathroom and toilet were seperate the toilet was too small to be able to close the door. As we are not large people we did wonder how other guests would tackle this issue! Excellent quality breakfast, all staff very helpful,pleasant and polite. Would stay here again but enquire with regards to the bathroom prior to booking.

Had an executive room which was very nice, coffee machine etc. had a small problem with room service food which was sorted out quickly with no fuss. Highly recommended.

The only issue was the WC which was seperate to the bathroom.

Position of the hotel was great for getting around London. Everything about the hotel was perfect for what we needed for a 2 night stay before the cup final with 2 adults and 2 children.

Lovely room, nice design but the separating wall between the bedroom and bathroom is glass. That means you have no privacy in the bathroom. I was on my own so I didn't care! Great location, clean, modern, fresh

Friendly excellent place to stay when you're staying in London - 40 seconds from underground. They had forgotten to put sheet on sofa bed duvet but this was sorted immediately when advised. We had a good family holiday and plan to stay there again

Very close to tube station, straight forward check-in and check-out procedure.

I travel a LOT, esp international. So I have seen plenty of good & bad hotels. And this hotel was great. Just a 5 minute walk to the Tube or DLR, or Tower of London. And great, friendly staff. Breakfast was great as well - tons in the buffet to choose from. I lucked out and got a high up room on the south side with a view of the Tower of London and Tower bridge. My one gripe is that they should give everyone strong wifi and not make just the "weak" wifi free.

Hotel has recently been refurbished to a very high standards. Bathroom has a glass wall through to the bedroom which becomes opaque at the touch of the button. I had requested the room to be made up for 2 people as there were only queen bed rooms left and when we arrived the sofa had already been made as a bed for us. The bed itself was comfortable enough for a 1 night stay. The surrounding area was somewhat lacking in amenities however a tesco was 5 min walk away. In summary would recommend this as a base for a tourist getaway to see the local sights or for business trips to the city / canary wharf
