Le meridien is supposed to be a good chain of hotels, but in Montreal it sucks, very small lobby, bad service, no valet to help you with your luggage (11pm after a long flight), the reception guy is very weird and not welcoming, the building is old, very bad maintenance,

My stay was very pleasant, other than the bed linens were dirty. They actually had the odour of other guests using them. My first night was very uncomfortable due to this. I had to request that they be changed for the second night.

This is the third or fourth time we have stayed at Meridien Versailles. The location is the biggest attraction for us. It's just blocks from the Musee des Beaux Arts and rue Ste-Catherine. There are two Metro stations nearby and also a very good patisserie, Olivier Potier, that recently opened a very short walk away. We have always found the staff friendly and helpful, and the rooms clean. This isn't a luxury spot, but the bathrooms are a good size and the beds comfortable. The safe wasn't working on our last stay, but that's a minor complaint. Also, we enjoy the soundscapes in the elevator.

Bad service. Room was not cleaned coffee bar not re-stocked even after specifically asking for it

Clean, pleasant boutique hotel for a family stay. There are not a lot of family-friendly restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

No parking was available - we were told to use the unsecured public lot down the street, then later after our things were already upstairs we were told we could pay a premium to possibly have a valet parking spot made available to us (?). In addition to this, there was an attempt to charge ($50+/night) for a roll away bed that was placed in our room without our prior notification. The staff were less than cordial in ultimately not resolving these matters (no manager was available at either time).

My wife and I enjoyed our 4 day visit, although we were only at the hotel room at night. We stayed in one of the "mini suites" at a 3rd floor, front corner, very nice location. Didn't try their resturant since there are so many great places to try within a few blocks. Overall, yes, I would recomend.

Great hotel in perfect location. Loved our stay in Montreal!

I've been to Montreal many a time, and always seemed to enjoy the hotels where I stayed until now. Thankfully it was a short trip because if we had to stay more than one night I would have relocated. They offer valet and parking, but limited spots, so granted when we arrived at 12:30 AM there was none left. We had to park 2 blocks away. The room itself was average but the bathroom was extremely cramped. The toilet was situated awkwardly, the faucet leaked, and you could hear every foot step in the hotel, so if your a light sleeper, good luck. In the morning the complimentary breakfast meant waiting in a line up in a room with very little seating. Maybe I'm being too critical but this was by far the worst hotel experience I have had in Montreal, than again its also the least amount I've paid for a hotel room in Montreal. Take it for what its worth.

Hotel personnel were very pleasant and helpful. Room condition was fine, but not great. Hotel was full (due to music festival) so we had to find our own parking (vs. valet service). This was not a big issue as I was traveling with someone and we were able to locate parking close by, but I would have been concerned and irritated if I were traveling alone. Neighborhood is pleasant and close to metro.

Meridien Hotel Montreal. The location is wonderful, near museums and great shopping. Staff were kind and efficient, we will definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend it to others.

Parking is 27$ per night - valet only

Nuestra estancia fue apenas satisfactoria, pues el nivel de servicio de la recepción y del personal de apoyo deja mucho que desear. Por ejemplo, cuándo llegamos nos dijeron que no había espacio en el estacionamiento. Finalmente, después de mucho insistir, ofrecieron hacerse cargo del auto. A la mañana siguiente, tuve necesidad de unos documentos que había dejado en el auto y en la recepción me indicaron que un bell boy iría a buscarlos. 15 minutos después se me acercó un bell boy y me preguntó qué necesitaba; sin embargo, la chica de la recepción me habiía dicho que ya habían ido por los papeles. En ese momento le dije al bell boy que yo lo acompañaría al estacionamiento. No estaba contento pero no tuvo opción. Al bajar a dicho parking, me percaté que estaba casi vacío, por lo que deduje que lo del estacionamiento lleno era un cuento. Otro detalle: a las 9 am del domingo, hubo fuertes toquidos a la puerta del personal de limpieza... En síntesis, no veo vocación de servicio en el personal del hotel.

ES UN HOTEL CERCANO A TODO, MUY COMODO, CON UNA VISTA EN ESQUINA DONDE SE APRECIA LA CIUDAD. ME GUSTO MUCHO MI ESTANCIA.
