Enjoyed a quiet stay in well cared for rooms, front lobby looks like it could use some updating, or a really good clean , and the pool was smaller than the pictures on the site made it appear, good food at the restaurant - friendly service

Stopped in before 1pm to get rooms set up told the front desk we would be back around 6 to 7 to get keys, he took an imprint of my Credit card then when we got back to get the keys no record of the transaction, no keys rooms were not set up. Finally got the rooms sorted out then had to go back to the desk 3 times to get the keys to work. the location is good, however I would not recommend this place to anyone now. This was 3rd time I used this place and it is the last time I will use it.

Beds were very hard and uncomfortable to sleep in.

Hotel is out-dated and smelled of stale smoke in the hallways and my room.

It was very pleasant stay for me.

Dirty, bad neighborhood but 5 minutes from mall. Staff was unfriendly and charge you extra money to your card without notifying you. We were barely at the hotel and left no mess so there was no reason for extra charge.

We chose this hotel due to is reasonable proximity to the West Edmonton Mall, as well as it's price, which was quite reasonable compared to other hotels close to the attractions. Staff were very friendly, restaurant and lounge were fine. Nothing spectacular, but good value for our dollar I feel.

This hotel is in desperate need of upgrades and an overall cleaning. The 'Plus' should definetly be removed from the name. A great disappointment from other stays in the Best Western Plus chain. Will not have a repeat stay.

Clean, convenient, comfortable, was happy to be able to open a window, restaurant on site a plus.

Firstly our room was too hot to sleep and when I asked the front desk if it could be fixed they said someone would come look at it and no one ever showed up. The exterior hotel grounds were filthy with broken bottles and dog feces. The entire hotel reeked of cigarette smoke and the secondary exterior doors that led to the parking lot were always unlocked allowing access at all times of the night to the many shifty and/or homeless people that hangaround the front door and parking lot asking for change. They allow someone access to the hotel to deliver pizza/restaurant flyers to your room, every time I came back to the room there was another flyer stuffed under or through the door. The common areas had dirty plates and beer bottles stashed in corners. I travel extensively in Canada and around the world, including developing countries, I also work as hotel photographer and this was truly one of the worst hotels stays I've ever had. The one positive was that our room was large, clean and quiet. I don't tend to complain about little problems at hotels and restaurants etc., but this hotel was so horribly managed I was compelled to write this review. I also wrote the same to the hotel directly and am currently awaiting a response.

The first impression as you walk in is not good since the front desk has to be sought out and the lobby has all the charm of a bus depot. The pool is directly across from the front desk and has no hot tub but although we did not use it, it appeared appealing. This appears to be a hotel that caters to business, conventions and large events such as weddings so there could well be noise at times...especially at weekends. We, however, were there on a Wednesday night and although the hotel was apparently full it was very, very quiet. We arrived about 8pm and were gone early next morning so although there is an in house restaurant we are not able to offer comment on it as we didn't make use of it. The room was large and comfortable and clean. We did appreciate the free wi-fi. We chose this hotel because we arrived and departed via Anthony Henley Way and it is very well situated to that route. I would stay at this hotel again and reccomentd it if you are centering your activity in the west end and at West Edmonton Mall.

I was Edmonton overnight. The hotel is in a good location for me. The staff is always friendly and check in is fast.

Great stay

Good stay. Rooms nicely updated. In room coffee maker stoped working on the second morning. Front desk, with-out hesitation, offered me a coffee from the restauarant gratis. Best value I could find in Edmonton

We arrived early and the room was ready for an early check-in. The staff was friendly. The room was a good size and clean.

My husband was a bit grossed out by the spill on the bed skirt. A previous occupant must have spilled a drink or something and it wasn't cleaned. Locations was great. There was no microwave in the room. Overall it wasn't too bad.

Had a pleasant stay, would stay there again if in the city.

My Stay was perfect! The restaurant in that same building was also offering a great service and I enjoy the price of the buffet offer.

This hotel advertised black out curtains but the room when it was sunny was just as bright as outdoors !!!!

Staff were very helpful- we arrived to find they had missed giving us towels but they were quick to replace. My ONLY complaint was that the room as abnormally hot and I was not able to turn the heat down, so we opened the window and were encouraged to turn on the AC- but it was WAY too loud- otherwise, clean and comfortable room, friendly staff, great location, incredible rates!

Clean and nice staff. We would stay here again.

The stay was alright. Our T.V didn't work when we first got there, someone had to come fix it. Our phone never worked at all in our room. Our room was not cleaned once while we were there for 2 nights. A light in our room randomly flickered all night. There is no hot tub and the pool was pretty small and packed with kids the hole time we were there. No one offered to help us with our luggage when they could see us struggling with tons of stuff. Besides those things our stay was fine.

We found the beds very comfortable and the girl that cleaned our room was wonderful and cheery,the bed was made perfectly every day.We also ordered from the restaurant in hotel and got it delivered to our room,good food cheerful staff,will stay again for sure.Thank-you

The condition of this hotel was awful. The lobby is up to date but the room was horrible. Dark and ding, musty and smoke smelling. Being there on my own was not comfortable at all. Will not be staying again ever

On the whole it was good. The parking lot was very.....very icy and hard to walk on. The room it's self was alright , there could have been more seating.. only one easy chair and a microwave would have topped it off nicely.

The room was great as was the restaurant food. However, the location of the hotel and some of the guests were questionable. The hotel management did nothing about families that allowed their children to use the hallways as early morning playgrounds. This meant early mornings on what should have been a relaxing stay. As well, management did not clear or use ice melt on their parking lot, making it very treacherous to get to and from your vehicle. The hotel shop was not stocked, which meant we had to make a drive to the SuperStore which was close at least. The restaurant was not properly staffed the first morning, which meant one person was serving all the tables, seating guests and taking payment. Only stay at this hotel if you are okay driving to all your destinations, as nothing is within walking distance, especially West Edmonton Mall which they do sell discounted passes for the parks at the mall.

Stayed at this hotel 3 times before and we have always been impressed with the rooms, service and hotel employees. The location to West Edmonton Mall and the ease of access to the mall is great! Next time we are in Edmonton we will stay here again.

The pictures of this hotel and it‘s rooms on the website GREATLY exaggerate it‘s true appearance. The rooms are poorly maintained and very poorly finished...our room had two old stacking chairs as our “relaxing“ furniture and we had one several things not working in our room...ie..the phone! Our family will never stay here again...questioning the whole Best Western line!

Old hotel that buys their exercise equipment from bad garage sales. One piece of equipment actually worked. Hotel was clean but somebody continued to smoke on our floor and it was everywhere. Other hotels at the same price also offer breakfast.
