Quality Hotel Conference Center - Harpers Ferry

This was a good choice for staying near the Harper's Ferry Historical sites just down the road. Very interesting history. The hotel was comfortable and offered a decent breakfast with the room.

The room and the building were not cleaned. The sink in the bathroom was clogged. The people were not friendly.

A great alternative to the Charles Town hotels

I was only there one night. I had a nice clean room and breakfast the next morning. Not continental but sausage and eggs and hot coffee. The employees were nice and helpful. What more can one as for a one night stay.

This hotel is conveniently located just outside Harpers Ferry and approx 5 miles from the Charles Town Hollywood Casino & Track. The room was spacious, comfortable, very clean and well maintained. Nice wide hallways. There is coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The only disappointment was the breakfast, which was very poor. Next time, we will go into Charles Town for breakfast.

The hotel room, breakfast, and bar was very nice. BUT....we had an issue around 4 in the morning when a group of people were very loud in the hallway. One person banged on our door and asked if we had a small child because there was one in the hall. We were afraid that they were tryiing to rob us. We did not open the door and the ruckus continued for about an hour. We were in the third building far away from the front desk. It was a scary situation for us. The hotel was nice but if you stay there I would recommend a room in the building with the front desk. The surrounding area is very nice and was only a few minutes from the casino and race track.

They were very accomodating. The pool was closed early one night which was a little disappointing. The pool was HEATED, it was toasting warm and very nice with the snow blowing. I will definitely stay there again while visiting family in Harpers Ferry.

A beautiful sunny day, we booked a room at the last minute when we decided to visit the Hollywood Casino and Race Track in Charles Town, WV rather than travel back home to Pittsburgh. On the way to hotel, and not far down the road, were some lovely wineries wherein we stopped for a few tastings. When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by a friendly front desk staff. From there we headed straight to the lounge to take in the Pens game. The staff there, including the manager, took the time to make sure we were completely satisfied with our food and service. Crab legs are their specialty! Then to the casino only five miles down the road. The hotel itself is a little dated, however, it is very well kept and very clean. We were entitled to a free breakfast the next morning; just a suggestion get there well before they close at 10 a.m. otherwise, slim pickins! A small work out facility on site to burn off calories from the night before; again very clean. For the price, it was perfect. We will definitely stay there again should the opportunity arise.

The stay was very nice, I wish their was more things to do in the hotel.Like maybe the Dining Hall for breakfast could stay open until 11:00am not 10:am. Also at night there was nothing fun to do in the hotel we had to travel to find something to do.

This was a clean, although a bit dated hotel. I found it frustrating that my room was in an entirely different building than the breakfast room, and when I had my room curtains closed, the AC/heating unit blew right up under the curtains, not into the room, with no way to fix this. For the money, I should have stayed at one of the smaller local hotels or bed-and-breakfasts.

We were very pleased with the hotel. The place was clean and comfortable, there is a very nice restaurant on the premises, and the breakfast was very good. As we were visiting Harpers Ferry, this was a convenient place to stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Good place to stay for an overnighter while on a road trip. Nice staff, clean/comfortable room, and a free breakfast.

The Quality Hotel @ Harper's Ferry is an excellent place to stay. The accommodations were first-rate and the service was superb. Rooms were very clean and neat. The in-room refrigerator and microwave oven were very useful. Very convenient to Harper's Ferry National Park and to local shopping. The complimentary breakfast offered a nice variety. My family enjoyed our stay and we will be back the next time we visit Harper's Ferry.

the hotel entrance is poor, at the top of a knowl on a 50mph highway, the room smelled bad, (not a fresh clean or even sanitized room), dust balls around the floor & wall edge, our room was missed douring normal housekeeping stop, bar attached to the hotel was pricey and had a very, very loud bad playing (if thats what you call the noise they were making). unsafe place to pull in & out of. my props to the shuttle bus drivers. would not recommend this location at all.

Very friendly staff, helpful, warm cookies and yummy coffee in the lobby. The breakfast was lovely, lots of food including eggs and make your own waffles. I would definitely go back.

Over all it was an enjoyable stay. The room's were spacious. The staff was very polite. The location offered an awesome view. However, we were disappointed with weight room. (Broken equipment) But we would not hesitate to stay again. I'll just leave my workout clothes at home.

Everything was OK, our toliet was backed up ,called service they came to room on time. Wanted to order food to room,we waited a long time for the order which we went to bar to order it.Other than that it was a great stay.Front desk service folks were very good .

Modern, clean with very helpful staff. Only stayed one night but would have been happy to stay.

Vista Cafe-delicious!

I know that there aren't many places to stay in Harper's Ferry, but we were hoping for better. The hotel is just so outdated. And it isn't just the decor ; everything appears to have been neglected and run down, giving it a depressing feel. Neither my husband nor I was willing to sit on the bedspread, but the mattress was comfy. Every amenity was minimalistic, and boy, I haven't seen an antique TV like that for a while. Bad reception. The bathroom was bad. We had to ask the desk clerk to fix the faucet, as it just trickled. He did, and it worked fine then. The shower/tub and floor tiles were really OLD and dirty-looking, even if it had been cleaned. Our “pool view” window opened to the indoor pool area rather than the outside. The air-conditioning unit was the loudest I've ever heard. It came on and went off with so many deibels that at 2:30 am got up and turned it off and hoped we wouldn't swelter. With the exception of one friendly young man, all staff seemed unhappy ... looks of discontent all around. Dinner in the attached tavern was okay. The most positive aspect was the complimentary breakfast. The lovely lady who managed the breakfast was delightful and friendly and actually appeared to care. We made sure that we gave her a nice gratuity each day because she tried so hard.

Excellent service, clean room, and a good value for the money spent. Train to Washington was easy.

I thought that the hotel was a bit expensive for an older hote, but the staff was very friendly. They really should update the property.

Positives: Hotel is in a great location. Breakfast was better than average and the staff in the restaurant were extremely friendly and helpful. Negatives: I had read that the hotel had been renovated, but we were in the second building over and the furnishings were outdated, although clean and perfectly comfortable. The man at the reception desk was not particularly friendly and when we asked for a late check-out for which we were perfectly willing to pay, he said they couldn't as they were completely full, which was absurd. We were practically the only people staying in the second building. All in all, very adequate lodging and the only advantage is that it's one of the only places to stay in Harper's Ferry, which is probably why they get away with a price that is way too high for the quality of the hotel.

Perfect location for a weekend visit to historic Harper's Ferry. Ideal proximity to the Park which offers a free shuttle bus to the old town every 10 minutes. (you can't park your car in Harper's Ferry) Hotel is located on a ridge with 360 mountain views...Nice, clean, comfortable room with fridge, microwave, iron, coffee maker, etc. Beautiful pool and sun room. Nice work out room. Restaurant convenient for dinner and the food was good, only complaint there was loud jukebox and smokers. Pleasant surprise when we checked out...our on-line price was $20.00 lower than I thought I'd paid!

Nice and comfortable. Not far from Harper Ferry National Park and Charles Town.

This was a great spot -- people were friendly -- bar/restaurant on the property -- good choice!

Everything about the hotel was great. Clean, quiet, location, pool and breakfast included.
