Excellent with one only exception. The woman who checked us in, was not service oriented. She gave us no copy of receipt and NO general info. We asked about trolley and the only thing she replied was "there is one nearby". All other personnel was great!

Besides the overall rating, I found the front desk staff unfriendly... Anyway, my staying in this hotel was very comfortable. the amennities were ok, and the location excellent!! As I said in the title review: why no welcome rewards??

An excellent hotel in an excelent location at Key West. Our room was immaculate and we really enjoyed our stay there. The location too was excellent, just a short walk away from the famous Duval St and within easy walking distance of all the major facilities. We stayed there as part of a driving tour from Charlotte NC to Key West and back and although we enjoyed it it must be said that it was quite expensive, and generally we found Key West to be one of the most expensive places we visited. But if you want to see it all, you have to pay!

finally.this is the first place i have EVER stayed that respected the do not disturb card on door.no annoying knocks at 7am.wonderful!pool excellent.if you are traveling mid-week,complete relaxation.practically NO KIDS!YAY.if you are here for the weekend,pool will be loud w/kids screaming.1block from beach,rents bikes,scooters,car,if you plan on spending most of your time by mallory sq.or in the action of duval.or be prepared to WALK A LOT.Ft.Zach a must-have water shoes!DO jet-ski tour around entire island.Tattoo's & Scar's.mallory sq sunset festival

Loved Key West. This was a very good location. Had to walk a mile or so to all the madness on Duval Street, but that was a good thing, really. Hotel is surprisingly nice, great pool, very clean, very nice rooms. Staff at checkin was a little put off at first but warmed up to be sufficiently friendly overall. Room is rather outrageously priced, at discounted rate of $269, but that's KW for you. I definitely liked the hotel, it had great reviews and they were all pretty much true.

bare bones room, breakfast nook very crowded sro, fridge did not work, lamp shade broken, key card malfunctioned, expensive... but great location, easy parking, nice colors,

The Hibiscus was a clean and comfortable stop for our two nights in Key West. Only real complaint is our particular room (107) is located off the tunnel leading to the pool courtyard and, as a result, the window was in the tunnel too. Very dark room. Pricey for what you get but it was Spring Break and moderate compared to many other lodgings in Key West. Location was excellent as everything was within walking distance. The hotel breakfast was not very good.

The hotel, which was booked well inadvance of the visit, provided a central base to explore Key West, in particular Duval Street and the southern shore line - the best way, on foot. It was very comfortable with off-street parking provided and all amenities close to hand. Seen in the context of the hotels in the surrounding area, it was very good value for the money.

This was without doubt a superb place to stay at a fantastic price, located minutes from all the must see's. Don't hesitate to book the Hotel you will not be disappointed.

We spent two wonderful days at Key West. Accomodations were greeat. The site is worthwhile visiting, food was good. Very relaxing trip.

We LOVED our stay at this hotel. The bed was super comfortable, we were able to set the room temperature as low as we like it, everything was very clean and nice. They have a continental breakfast which changes daily and we enjoyed that. The only downside is that it's very crowded at 9:30 am. I would recommend going early. It's a 20+ minute walk to the good side of Duval street with all the popular bars and things to do, but it really wasn't too bad. You could always grab a cab for a few bucks if you don't want to walk. We did a little of both. Will definitely stay here again next time we're in Key West!

Our party of 6 retired friends enjoyed it tremendously. The pool water was very warm and inviting, and the courtyard was fantastic to sit around and relax. The rooms were very spacious and the beds were comfortable. The continental breakfast was great. We parked our car and walked everywhere which was very convenient. The hotel sold tickets to various venues, one of which was the trolley and which was right around the corner. Another notable convenience. The fridge, microwave and coffeemaker are welcome amenities. We couldn't have been happier if we spent 2-3 times the money. Will definitely return.

We had an excellent time. I chose this hotel because it was farther away from the bar scene. One time four young men came in at about 3:30 A.M. making quite a bit of noise. The hotel personnel talked to them and the problem was solved. The next time I travel to Key West I will try to stay there again.

The hotel is in an excellent location, just a few blocks from Duval Street, the southern-most point and the Hemingway House. It's also just a 20 minute walk from the Key West Ferry Terminal. The hotel was clean and comfortable with a nice pool and in-room fridge, freezer and coffee machine. There is free wi-fi as well as two free-use computers by reception. The breakfast is actually very good with a range of cereals, bagels, muffins and fruit.

If you want to have a clean hotel close to the action. The BW Hibiscus is clean, very well located and a good spot

Clean, neat room, quaint, STEPS from the pool. Plenty of room for 2, decent size bathroom with additional vanity. Beds were comfortable and well dressed. Walking distance to Duvall and all else. Very reasonably priced, exceeded our expectation of a budget priced inn. Check out isnt until 11, so go have some fun!!

Room was very confy and big. Shower was nice and everything was way more than i expected for the reasonable price. Walking distance to everything and free breakfast was great.

everything was great except the credit card billing process. on their website it says that your credit card will not be billed until you arrive. they billed my visa card on the day i booked the room. when we checked out the way they arrived at the total price was hard to figure out. it took a phone call to them to figure it out. that process might have me book another hotel on another visit to key west.

We were more than happy with this hotel. The whole place is so clean and tidy, shows that the management really care about their guests experience. The location is nice and quiet but still within easy walking distance of the busy end of Duval Street.

Great hotel. Very clean. Spacious. 2 sinks. Nice pool. Very close to Duval and Southermost. Would definitely stay here again.

I really enjoyed our stay here. Close enough to walk to most things but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. The breakfast at the Hotel is like a feeding frenzy! We ate out most days.

Pool and hot tub open until midnight was great, quite and clean, would stay again.

Somewhat pricey, but one of the better options for Key West. Front desk staff is a bit jaded and offered the bare minimum required by their job. Watch out for extra fees and taxes. There was a surprise $25.99 charge on my card.

We spent one night there, close to Duval street but quiet. Cute little pool with palm trees and some chairs around. We had our breakfast out there. Rooms look very nice and are pretty big with two sinks :-) We liked the place a lot and I wish we could have stayed longer.

We enjoyed the visit immensly. The BW Hibiscus was clean, well maintained, comfortable and the price was reasonable. The hotel is right in the middle of the old town area and the sights were within walking distance, Hemmingway House, The Light House, The Southernmost point in the USA, and Duval Street were all close by.

had,a great stay at this hotel, it's quiet yet close enough to get to the duval street action etc...you can walk any where...staff were also great and in all we loved our 2 nights and wish we had more...

Location was great . . . beach was only a few blocks south. Duvall Street was one block west. Good to excellent restaurants everywhere! We would definitely go back to Best Western Plus Hibiscus and recommend it to friends.

don't let the outside fool you. the rooms are super cute and clean. the only complaint I have about this place is that it was a bit further from the night life on Duval st. Other than that, overall, great place and I would definitely recommend it.

This hotel has been nicely renovated, is quiet and very clean. The room was big, comfortable and well equiped with a fridge, microwave and coffee machine. We didn't have a view of the pool as our room was near the end of the block and looked over the side car park. The breakfast was very good but my main criticism is the breakfast room is far too small for the size of the property, we had to return to our room and go back later when it was less busy. Also, I paid for the first night months ago on Hotels.com with a credit card but didn't take this card on holiday with me so offered another card to make the payment for the rest of the booking but apparently this was not possible. I had to get a refund for the first night to the first card and charge the whole booking to the second card.

We were very happy with the hotel--it was fresh and clean-- and the proximity to the downtown area and the events. Also close to good restaurants and to the water. Good continental breakfast. Comfortable beds! We couldn't have been happier!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Our room was clean and spacious. The service all around was appreciated by us. The continental breakfast was better than most, but a tad more variety would be good. Overall it was one of the nicest places we've stayed. Thank you.

We were here for 7 days. Our stay was excellent. Rooms neat and clean. The staff was very helpful. Most definitely stay here again & recommend to others.

Everything was first class. Tasty breakfasts, large rooms, wide screen tv, large, comfy beds, ambience, everything you could want. Restaurants and bars nearby, Duval one block away, Would definitely return.

BW Hibiscus has always been a choice for us in Key West. Always clean, affordable (for KW) and staff is nice. Continental Breakfast is good typical fruit, cereal, baked goods and also offers something like Bob Evans sausage & egg biscuits, biscuits and gravy, etc. that changes daily but all was good!I have stayed here 3 times and have friends that also have stayed multiple times here as well!

Great location, clean and large rooms, exactly as posted and as reviewed by others. Great and convenient pool area used extensively by our group on a daily basis. The evening desk clerk was a little surly when he came out to tell us one evening around 11:00 that we were a little loud (pool area closes at 12:00), almost like he had already come out once. He was probably correct, just could have done it with a little more respect or common courtesy. He also might have been called by some renters that were in the nearby rooms facing the pool. One suggestion: if the renters look like they may be early to bed folk, don't put them facing the pool. This is Key West after all.

No downside. I'm sure that there are better and more luxurious hotels in town, but this was extremely good vale for money. I would not look to stay anywhere else in Key West.

We stayed here because our friends were staying at the Reach. This hotel had everything the Reach had, except that instead of paying 37-50 for breakfast, we had breakfast for free. The room was smaller than a suite at the Reach but the price was less than 1/2 as much.

A Great place to stay. I arrived at 5 AM and they still had my room. (I did call ahead and say I would be arriving late). Didn't think that late. Had Free breakfast and internet. really nice pool. One block to Duvall Street, and about 6 blocks to the habor. I plan on going to Key West alot, and I'm going to try and stay there again.
