Easy access by 128 Bus to and from airport to hotel. Downfall of hotel is access to internet - 15 minutes free and then payment for additional minutes. Rates are high as there is a charge per hour. Hotel is a short walk from the U6 Subway stop with easy access to downtown Berlin for sightseeing. Surrounding area has inexpensive kiosks for food and cafes for seated eating. Buffet breakfast at hotel is expensive. Hotel staff are pleasant and helpful.

Clean, convenient to airport and subway, helpful staff.

Rooms are basic at best. Poor lighting, no security lock box, no luggage rack. Worst internet connection I have experienced outside of developing countries! Seems oriented to large groups of tourists or students rather than business customers.

Good value, nice size room, quiet and very pleasant reception staff.i have stayed there on 2 occasions will continue to stay there on future trips to Berlin

We stayed at this hotel overnight while waiting for a connecting flight out of TXL. It's conveniently located, a short bus ride away from the airport. The rooms are completely fine, and we have no complaints in terms of amenities. Two disappointments: 1) The lack of free wi-fi (15 minutes free, and then pretty exorbitant rates thereafter) seems totally absurd to me for a real hotel; 2) Someone from the cleaning staff entered our room without knocking at around 9:30am, which was a bit shocking for us. The person left after realizing that people were there, but this shouldn't have happened.

Excellent place to stay overnight for a flight or even for more days! Easily accessible by bus from the airport (10 mins away--bus #128, stop at Kapweg); shopping center just a few minutes away (walking). I had dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious. Thumbs down for breakfast not being included.

Nice personnel, close to the Tegel airport.

Very good. The food was very expensive but luckily it is within walking distance to a mall and some restaurants and Underground Subway. There is a microwave, ref, in the room making the nearby supermarket very convenient. Another GREAT PLUS is there is FREE WIFI in the room. It only lasts 15 mins, but you can get it again for another 15 mins unlimited times. That is a big plus today when hotels are charging for internet.

Good location for for people flying out of Tegel. Bus to airport stops right outside hotel. Very noisy during day due to flights but the noise stops at 11 PM so you can sleep. Good breakfast

Very convenient to TXL airport in what was the eastern sector. The #128 direct and only a few stops from the airport and stops at hotel door. The Hotel is a 2 minute walk to the subway Ubahn station that goes to Friedrichstrasse. The hotel is near the end of the runway but has multiple pane glass so you don't notice the jets overhead. A few local restaurants and snack shops but basically a residential district. Plan to ride the train to the sights or other attractions. The breakfast buffet was 14euro but lots of selection, overall a reasonable price. Friendly staff, excellent English.

A perfectly decent but not exciting hotel convenient to Tegel airport. The staff are helpful. As other reviewers pointed out, you can hear the plane overhead until fairly late in the evening, but it didn't really bother me.

It was perfectly fine hotel for being around the airport. Wouldn't stay there for any other reason, however. And no parking.

The location of the hotel is about 2 miles from Tegel airport, and you can get to the airport by public transportation. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room where we stayed in was clean and comfortable.

I would like to see you extend free wireless connection to the rooms, or at least add stations to your business corner.

Dorint er et typisk flyplasshotell, har alt man trenger til en billig penge. Rent og pent, anbefaler hotellet for turister.

Das Hotel ist alt und entsprechend sehen die Zimmer auch aus. Man fühlt sich nicht direkt unwohl, wer aber ein modernes, neues und top gepflegtes Zimmer haben möchte, der ist hier falsch. Dazu liegt es direkt hinter der Startbahn vom Flughafen Tegel. Wer also absolute Ruhe braucht, sollte hier nicht wohnen. Ansonsten ist es vollkommen brauchbar. Wer nur für 1-3 Tage ein Hotel zum schlafen sucht, ist hier richtig. Für einen Kurztrip würden wir es wieder buchen.

Hotel liegt 10 Bus Minuten vom Flughafen entfernt. Bushaltestelle direkt vorm Hotel. Bus fährt ab ca. 5:00 morgens. Parken an der Strasse vor dem Hotel ist kostenlos möglich.

Ikke noget særligt ved dette hotel, tror ikke jeg kommer igen.Begrænset hotel parkering, men mulighed for offentlig parkering uden betaling. Morgen buffeten skuffende.

Gode og rene værelser, god service, god støjdæmpning, selv om fly flyver direkte hen over hotellet i lav højde. Fornunftige priser.

Das Dorint Hotel liegt in einer Seitenstraße nahe dem Kurt-Schumacher-Platz. Super Verkehrsanbindung mit der U6 in die Stadtmitte und dem Bus 128 in 10 Minuten zum Flughafen Tegel. Der Hotel-Komplex ist inzwischen etwa 20 Jahre alt. Das sieht man dem Teppichboden und der Badeinrichtung an. Zudem liegt das Hotel ca. 500 Meter Luftlinie in der Verlängerung der Start- und Landebahn des Flughafens. Die Fenster sind bestens schallisoliert. Wer bei offenem Fenster schlafen will, sollte jedoch besser ein anderes Quartier wählen oder bereits taub sein. Für eine preis- und verkehrsgünstige Übernachtung werde ich selbst das Dorint Tegel gerne wieder buchen.

Der Aufenthalt im Hotel war ganz ok .Bei der Anreise wurde ich vorm Hotel vom Hotel Elektriker mit den Worten Empfangen das ich nicht am Hotel parken solle ,( toller Empfang nach 600 Km ) Dachte erst das sei der Direktor des Hotels So ein arrogantes verhalten gegenüber eines Gastes habe ich noch nicht erleben können , Das wird ein Grund sein dieses Dorint Hotel nicht mehr zu buchen!!!!! Aber auch nicht weiterzuempfehlen auch nach einer beschwerte am Empfang kommt keine Entschuldigung. Diesmal war der Aufenthalt nicht so wie man das sich hätte Wünschen können besonders wenn man fast eine Woche im Hotel wohnt .

Jeg har brugt hotellet før, jeg er jævnligt i Berlin og det ligger godt geografisk for mig, men jeg synes standarten er faldende ikke så meget at jeg ikke vil bruge dem igen men bare et par af de små ting - der manglede en pære i loftet, madressen virkede "træt" de små flasker med shampoo var sparet væk og det samme var køleskabet og selve kvarteret virkede som om det var mindre pænt end det plejede at være.

Mein Aufenthalt war sehr schön etwas laut wegen der Flugzeuge die noch in Tegel landen aber auch sehr interessant .Man ist schnell auf der Autobahn und auch sehr gute Anbindung in die Innenstadt .ich freue mich auf meinen nächsten besuch im Dorint !!

Hotellet er ganske fint, og morgenmaden lige så. Men beliggenheden er skidt. Der er ikke særlig meget hygge i området og der er meget støj fra flyene som flyver lige uden for vinduerne :-) men til prisen ganske ok.

Trevligt rum lustigt möblerat. Flyg 50 m över taket inflygning till Tegel, men inte störande då huset är välisolerat för ljud. BBC News och Al Jassera förutom alla tyska, italienska och spanska kanaler.

Angenehm ruhiges Zimmer (in der Zeit in der kein Flugverkehr in Tegel ist).
