Old motel style layout, room musty smelling, otherwise OK.

After a long flight to Northampton, I was met by a and an untidy room. I had to switch to a clean room downstairs but the issue was resolved very quickly. Wi-fi quality is terrible, albeit non-existent. Good news: breakfast is good! The daytime receptionist was very kind, nighttime not so much, but both were helpful. All in all, I think Northampton is a great town and the location of the hotel is good!

Convenient to Main Street Northampton - walking distance to restaurants. Internet did not work in rooms. Noisy due to people partying in the weekend. Would not stay here again.

Perfect for what we needed. Clean room, comfortable beds. Didn't need it this time but good to know there was a fridge and microwave in the room. Would definitely stay again. Staff was very welcoming and helpful.

we were only in Northampton for an overnight, and the Quality Inn provided perfectly adequate accommodations at a reasonable price.

While the hotel itself is old, it was very clean. The women at the desk were very friendly and helpful. My daughter and I thought the breakfast was very good and it's offered in a cosy room with a fire, most welcome on a cold day. I would definitely stay there again.

Given the cost of the hotel, the hotel should not be so dingy. The room was clean and sheets comfortable but had a funny smell which I put down to using the cheapest of the cheap cleaning supplies. Some past comments said the smell was musty, I really think it is cheap cleaning supplies. the hotel was convenient to our event and served its purpose and if it was less expensive I would have been more satisfied.

Hotel very outdated, Room smelled like it wasn't cleaned since the 60's. Old bed spreads from the 70's. Mold in bathrom shower. They should be embrassed to run a so called hotel like this. Breakfast was a joke, at 7:00 most of the hot food was gone, the breakfast is a joke! Don't stay here it is disgusting!

Used as a base of operations for moving my daughter cross country and into UMass Amherst. V. Nice staff, breakfast adequate. Obviously an older facility, updated somewhat. Room had a slightly musty smell. Comfortable bed. Much cheaper than hotels serving UMass in Amherst, but only about a 15 minute drive from that campus. Close to freeway, but couldn't hear any freeway noise. May use again.

The room smelled musty and the bathrooms was COVERED in black mold. I am glad we only had to stay there one night. I will not return until that hotel has been thoroughly cleaned and all mold is removed. However, I will say that the front desk attendant was quite nice during check in.

I stay here whenever I come out to Northampton, affordable, great staff, clean, and efficient. Never a let down

Great room and place for the price. Would stay there again or recommend it to a friend.

It could of been better the rooms weren't that clean

Our room was not made up the second day and we had to fetch fresh towels

The staff was great and the cookies were tasty, but the room smelled very musty. We were in the old, motel part.

Arrived late Friday evening After a lonng day.We were greeted warmly &effortlessly checked in. After a restful nights sleep & a warm & tasty breakfast ,I enjoyed the pool for a swim. Then we took a ride to the tower on Mt. Tom &enjoyed the view.

from the manager (I think?) on duty when I checked in, to the manager (I think) in the morning, to the ladies behind the desk, service and courtesy were outstanding (managers, especially!) Had a wonderful stay, and will stay again.

Broken ice machine never got fixed. Breakfast fair though waffles were good

The motel section of this hotel is old, dreary and reeks like stale cigarette smoke. The "spa pool" indicated on the description and in the photo no longer exists. According to the front desk clerk, "it was filled in two years ago." Another guest we met at the pool was also disappointed to find that the spa pool no longer existed. We had to walk across the parking lot to the pool. With small children, this was inconvenient, especially in mid-February. I would not recommend this hotel.

Good bedding, nice warm pool, friendly staff, adequate breakfast - just the thing for a quick trip to Northhampton. A bit far from the center of town if on foot - but easy distance with a car, and great price.

We could have spent twice as much for a location in the middle of Northampton, but we didn't want to. This location was fine....walking distance from Northampton. We used the pool and had it all to ourselves. The breakfast was fine. No complaints.

When checking out after one night I asked to see the manager about the cleanlyness of the bathroom. Call back tomorrow the young girl told me as the manager was not there on a Sunday. Over the last month i have 8 calls in to the manager, leaving my phone number. No response at all. The bathroom had black mold in the shower and hair stuck to the door. Shower curtain had mold stains where it was washed. Stains on front room curtains. Never again will I stay there or book a room in another Quality Inn.

I found it unbelievable that I was only offered a room on the 2nd floor and there was no ramp or elevator to get there. I was on a long trip with a very heavy suitcase and cooler which I had to get up/downstairs which were narrow and steep. The staff did not seem to think that this was unusual or any problem, but I am 63 years old and recovering from a foot reconstruction. I will always check this out when making reservations in the future.

No frills hotel close to Noho center. The rooms could use some updating, but overall the place is okay. My only complaint was the funky smell in the room. It dissipated after a couple hours, but my first impression was revulsion.

We stayed here for a show at the Calvin Theatre. Check In was easy and the location was great. We could walk to the show. The room was very clean. Only problem was the indoor pool. The A/C was broken and they still had the pool heated. On this 100+ degree day we didn't want to swim in tepid water in a pool area that more resembled a sauna. Very steamy! Not a luxurious hotel by any means, but very clean and convenient to town.

A second of 3rd class motel, old and kind of dumpy, not a great place and certainly not at the price.

Unfortunately, this is one of only two hotels in the area where the downtown area is walkable....This is overpriced, but the other hotel was more overpriced...THIS TOWN NEEDS MORE HOTELS NEAR TOWN...have stayed here before and this time our stay was just ok..our fridge was broke and it seems like the general maintenence of the place could be better. At least the room was clean.

This hotel is ok. Good customer service.

There is a picture of a jacuzzi in the pool room on the site that does not exist. Otherwise room was nice but mold in the shower.
