The hotel is well maintained, modern, close to pubs and restaurants and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Great Accomodations. Beautiful breakfast

Stayed on business and enjoyed the hotel. A quality breakfast was included and the property was very clean. Good shower which is one of my usual pet-peeves. Good restaurants and pubs within walking distance on Bank Street.

Efficient service at the desk. Great beds with Great sheets. Nice updated bathrooms. Convenient to downtown and Parliament Hill. Will stay again certainly.

The rooms are fantastic in this hotel. Service very good too. Same quality as rooms you would find in much more expensive 4 star hotels. And very clean. Convenient to highways, a relatively short walk to downtown. Neighborhood itself not the greatest, not too many restaurants in the immediate area. Parking costs at hotel itself, though, very expensive, around $17/night. Could be more variety at continental breakfast.

Everything good with one exception. Paid for indoor parking. Came home about 10:45 p.m. and there was no space left in garage. Another person was driving around with the same problem. Parked in funeral parlour lot across street. Also, my room key would never open garage door -- had to call for help each time. Charge for garage was deleted from my bill.

Staff was very courteous. We enjoyed the continental breakfast.

Excellent for getting away with the better half for a night

we were in Ottawa for a funeral in the family. We appreciated the site of your hotel, as we were not familiar with the area. Room was more than what we expected - kiitchenette well supplied, and comfortable and quiet area. On two occasions I was assisted by your staff on where to go for directions and other things we needed to find. Delicious breakfast provided (which we did not know was included ), and a peaceful, clean and quiet stay. We will most definitely look for your hotels the next time we are out on holiday, or family trip. Thank you very much for a comfortable place, which eased our stress. Thank all of you for this.

I have been traveling extensively across Canada lately and have been staying in many Best Western Hotels.........for the most part I believe that this chain provides good and courteous service and excellent value for my requirements.......I believe that the Victoria Park in Ottawa 'raises the bar' an extra notch ( and that in competition with larger and more expensive hotels that I have stayed in in Ottawa).......well done.

Complimentary continental breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. I particularly liked the feature of being able to select time and scope of housekeeping with a door card each day, which I wish all hotels would have.

Decent hotel at a reasonable price.

Our stay was just for one night, but everything was more than satisfactory. Didn't get a chance to use any other amenities, so can't comment on those.The staff were polite and helpful and the room and bathroom was clean. Breakfast which was included was a nice bonus.

The hotel was a 1/2 hour walk to Parliament Hill and Bytown Market. Complimentary breakfast was basic but more than adequate, including eggs, bagels, sausage patties, fruit salad, yoghurt. Underground arking, which was cost extra, was secure and convenient. Room was spacious and clean, with small fridge and microwave. Staff were friendly.

We loved the actual hotel for its cleanliness and I have stayed at alot of Best Westerns in Canada and all through the USA, but our room was very very dry and HOT!! We were there in mid November so it was cold outside.The water from the shower was just a dribble and it took a couple of minutes for the hot water to actually turn warm. The last day my husband had a cool shower because there was no hot water at all. We went to the front desk to let them know about the hotness of the room and the shower on the 2nd day. When we arrived back there was a notice that said it had been fixed and for a couple of hours it wasn't as hot but every morning we woke up with dry sore throats (we had to turn the heat right off but the baseboard element was still burning hot????) The shower was exactly the same and we only had 1 more night so we figured we could make it through. When we checked out I let them know at the front desk about all the problems and maintenace saying it was fixed and it wasn't and the lady did apoligize. We both agreed we would not stay here again when visiting Ottawa

The staff was extermely helpful and pelasant. Free internet and breakfast certainly are a selling feature.

I will definitely be back.

Definitely "functional" if you plan to visit the federal parliament area (no need to take the car), some restaurants around. The hotel is clean and you get the value for the money, the breakfast is also very correct.

The hotel is nice, close to Bank Street and downtown. Its clean, friendly etc but its on a main road and I found it REALLY noisy all day and night. It was really hard to sleep, so if you stay, ask for a room that does not face one of the roads.

I had a great stay. Was the first time and was very impressed. Very friendly staff and there was no problem getting a little bit later check out. Would definately stay again.

Hotel is very convenient, well located, staff is very polite and helpfull, parking is inside hotel but you have to pay for..rooms are very clean and confortable,breakfast is variety and healthy, in general Hotel is really nice and warm for short term stay.

Would be nice if there was a pool ... Other than that the location is perfect and the service is great... Nice free breakfast as well... Only complaints are I had trouble finding a parking spot in the garage of which I paid for parking... It worked out in the end so all was well. Also the WiFi in my room had a very weak signal and would only work near the front door and bathroom area... They need to invest in a signal booster!!

I think you get back what you paid here. The brekast is just a normal one. Rooms are clean. The small kitchen always helps. The epople are very friendly. I woulg go there again. The breakfast area gets crowded.

Hotel in a residential area which was safe for walking. Not as close to all the usual Ottawa sights, but one block from Museum of Nature. On several bus routes and 2 blocks from Elgin St which has lots of clubs and restaurants. Would stay again and explore more by public transit.

We were driving back from Quebec City and were very tired when we reached Ottawa, we were pleasantly surprised by the this hotel, accomodation, comfort and location, 5 star all the way. Breakfast was good, staff very friendly, they told us to park on the street since parking is free in Ottawa over the weekend rather than pay for hotel parking we save a bunch by following their advise. Staff was also very helpful in giving suggestions for things to do with kids

We had a great stay, so did our family and we booked the bride and groom in the executive suites at the last minute, they loved it.

The only complaint I have is with the elevators. Out of 3 days, twice there was elevator breakdowns ( different ones). Otherwise, our stay was very good. We loved the breakfast.

Our family of 5 were pleased with our stay at the Best Western Plus.Hot/Cold breakfast was included and pretty good,saves money on eating out.The parking was abit tight but we got our Toyota FJ parked ok in the underground parking for a fee of $17.Nice thing is we walked everywhere,to the Parliament Buildings,The Byward Market ,The Nature Museum etc.,.Only moved the truck to drive to grocery store and The Civilization Museum.Most definitely will stay here again.Rooms were big,nice,clean.

I'll start with the lobby. Very clean at first glance. We were greeted right away by the staff. Check in was very simple, and quick. The room was clean and bright. The room had a nice kitchenette, with a sink, and glasses, plates, and cutlery for our use. We managed to forget a couple of things at home (toothpaste, toothbrushes), but not to worry, the front desk staff was more than happy to provide us with replacements. The breakfast was great. Eggs, sausage, toast, cereal, fruit. Everything the body needs. It was close to the heart of downtown (approx. 5 mins by cab).

Excellent. Very nice hotel, front desk staff were very friendly, Room is not large but very well set up & very clean. The breakfast was very plentiful. Good location, walking distance to many thing. Would return and would recommend this hotel

We all enjoyed our stay very much. Everything was wonderful. We enjoyed the full breakfast. Great breakfast!! Beds comfortable, linens were clean and beautiful. Staff were friendly and helpful. We'll be back that's for sure. Love that the hotel is so close to all the sites. The Parliament Buildings aren't far and the Rideau Canal is close. Drove around the neighbourhood and there is so much to do in the area. We are all vegan's and we found some great vegan restaurants not far from the hotel.

Really nice clean hotel buffet breakfast offered a good selection of basic hot and cold food. Hotel is within easy walking distance of the major sights and excellent restaurants on Elgin Street.Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great stay. Near downtown core. Room was clean and staff were helpful and friendly. iHome docking station was a nice touch. Breakfast area was bright and simplistic decor.

No complaints. Everyone was nice. Room was clean. Hotel wasn't outdated. Free parking on the road. Not super close to main attractions but not more than a 5 min cab/car ride. Besides the downtown core seems really congested - this almost seems like the better route.

Very nice, room slight tight to get around. Too bad there is no small diner/lounge.
