Close to airport and free shuttle

This hotel is really 'tired' and in need of updating. The bed 'linens' looked like they had been reclaimed from a local shelter. The only resource for food when not driving was a service station 'mini mart' because your restaurant was closed. The only positive was the airport shuttle service. the staff were pleasant

Honestly, the hotel needs a major overhaul. But that being said, it provided everything my wife and I required for the evening.

The shuttle bus that starts at 4:00 am was the reason I chose this hotel. And also for economy. The room was basic, but clean and adequate. A nice bathtub, which I consider a necessity. Quite a lot of traffic noise on the side where my room was, and not the most comfortable of beds, but one gets what one pays for. As a surprise bonus, the restaurant, although it didn't seem fancy, provided an excellent meal, served with great artistry.

This is the second time to stay in the hotel. No complains for this price.

Hotel attitude on checkin(going) was poor, attitude on returning was fair. Could not get any sleep(going) because of some kind of domestic disagreement in the room above us(fight) that lasted most of the night. The airport shuttle did not pick us up for quite some time. We arrived at 8;00PM to go to the hotel we finally got the shuttle at 9;15PM (He was parked in the police parking spot at the airport and did not move up to the pickup zone to pick up passengers.

The room which we were assigned was very dated. The room was very cold, bad windows, as well as very noisy from the street traffic. We were on the third floor, and the hallways were very cold and damp. As well, the lino in the room was ripped, counter tops were damaged. On the plus side the room was clean.

It worked for us. Place was clean. Free airport shuttle got us to the airport in the wee hours of the morning on time. It was sufficient and that's all that matters. We have no complaints.

Short half km walk from a SkyTrain station. Shuttle to airport was available at 4 AM ( not all hotels provide this service so early in the day, so check). We enjoyed a complimentary glass of wine in the lounge followed by a very tasty and well presented dinner in the dining room. This hotel was just what we needed.

This was the cheapest hotel available for an unintended layover in Vancouver. The front desk staff was wonderful and shuttle service polite, friendly and even early. It was the best part of a couple of days of travel that should have been completed without an overnight stay.

It was very enjoyable. The staff at the front desk and restaurant were very friendly and helpfull

The hotel was lacking attention to detail with the cleaning. Large amounts of dirt on the door and hallways. Were concerned about whether or not there were chemicals used in the hot tub. Likely would choose not to return.

The hotel is just old and not well kept. The walls are thin and you can hear luggage in the hallways a mile away. Common area carpets were not clean. The staff was pleasant enough. Next time though I'll spend a little more and stay in one of the several hotels near this location.

The room was large, but not very clean. The "kitchenette" consisted of a dirty bar fridge, a microwave, and a tiny stove top. All the cupboard doors hung crookedly and the handles were dirty. The closet doors in the bedroom were dirty and dusty. There was a photocopied paper in the bathroom taped to the wall with writing in Chinese but no English, so I had no idea what it was instructing me to do. Overall, it was good enough for a sleep before heading back on a plane somewhere. But I wouldn't exactly recommend it to anyone.

I have to say i was a bit hesitant, after reading some reviews on this hotel' But i must say, check in was fast and easy! Room was out dated, but comfortable. No complaints there. Only thing i have to say is tv channels were not all easy to view! But with that said I feel it was a good deal. No major complaints at all

Very good

Had a good stay although could not get the internet, do not know why and the bathtub was not so nice to look at at there was green stuff on it. Otherwise it was great, good area, good restaurant, the service was not the best but hey, for the price in Richmond, I was satisfied.

I do not know the name of the guy at the front desk who helped us we stayed there on the 3rd of September 2012. He was one of the friendliest and most helpful front desk people I have ever met! Other details: jacuzzi! although very (maybe too) hot. Airport shuttle service was very handy! Not a lot of entertainment/restaurants in the area: Subway, Burger King and Starbucks within walking distance. Good beds and shower. Overall: very good price to stay so close to airport!

Some of the staff was very helpful, the majority was not. When asking directions I got a vague wave to "a little way over that way" to the train station. In fact it was .6 miles and the taxi was $6.75 for the company he called but just $5.05 for the return trip! Rooms were adequate. We had a room with a kitchenette but the refrigerator was not working. Not convenient location if you're coming off a cruise ship or want to visit the city but handy location to the airport and they do offer a free shuttle to and from YVR. Attached restaurant was fine and hostess Lucy was delightful! Be kind to her and she'll beg you to come back next year!! LOL!!!

I would not stay again. There's not microwave or pool for the price you pay. Internet and TV does not work. Everything is old from a fridge to TV etc... The parking security guy is super nice guy. Otherwise is a no.

One of the worst hotel experiences ever, my wife would kill me if I ever booked this place again

Lobby was the only nice thing at this hotel rooms r in need of upgrades bathroom had traces of mold on baseboards and in tub no tv in living room microwave tucked in a corner if countertop instead of mounted, the straw that broke the camels back we returned to our room after a long beautiful day touring Vancouver ready to get some rest before departure opened sofa bed only to find it hadn't been cleaned from the prior stay hair all over the sheets called front desk for a new set of sheets only to b told housekeeping was not available and there was nothing he could do .... Not even and apology :( after demanding a solution and refusing to sleep on dirty sheets we were hesitantly placed in another room but we had to go get our own keys if we wanted to move upon doing so the night auditor R**** handed over one room key again with no apology instead he added insult to injury by implying i the customer had booked a room for two guest instead of three when my reservation clearly stated two adults and one child. Free Airport shuttle was a plus runs every half hour drivers were pleasant thank goodness it was just a one night stay

Consistent service, all staff was very congenial...hotel is getting "tired" though. Needs some TLC.

Nice place to stay, enjoyed a nice meal from the attached steakhouse. as an American I really liked the fact that the cable network gave me access to the KTLA morning news out of L.A.

We've stayed at a few hotels near aiports and every other one had special glass to keep it quiet. This hotel was dated which we could live with as it was clean, however, the regular buses passing by and aircraft flying overhead were deafening so instead of being refreshed in the morning we were tired. It kind of defeats the point of staying nearby. I'd suspect that many of the other choices were quieter.

we chose this hotel because we needed a hotel close to the airport as our flight left early. Basically we just slept there. It was convenient that they had a shuttle service to the airport.

This place was worst of our 3 weeks road trip.

Unfortuate my car had its windsheild smashed pn top of staying in a poor ly maintained moldy uncomfortable scratchy old wool blankets hotel room

Hotel was located close to airport but not easly found with the traffic patterns around it. Not sure what the "Hosted Wine " thing was becasue we did not get it. We did get a free breakfast that was a nice suprise. Over all it was well woth the price.

We had the Queen with a kitchenette suite which had quite a nice layout. There are only a couple things I didn't like which is the smell of the hotel room. I can't put my finger on it but I felt I needed Febreeze. The bathroom didn't have a light in the shower so it was quite a bit darker. Otherwise the location is great. There is a gas station across the street, and within decent walking distance to the skytrain station. Easily accessible, with free parking for those who drove.

It was a one night stay before going on a cruise, but it was a pleasant experience. Morning breakfast was complimentary and waitress was just marvelouse with service and joyous attitude. Would not mind staying next time.
