We were pleasantly surprised being served free coffee in the beautiful dining room. The room was very quiet and comfortable. Will consider another stay there....

Nice' unexpected find. Comfortable rooms. Very plush.

Very enjoyable stay. The staff were extremely helpful and the hotel was comfortable and convenient for the surrounding area of Olympia City.

Very nice room comfortable bed, except housekeeper forgot our little soaps and shampoos in the bathroom. I had to call office to have some sent up then they still forgot the cups! Overall, the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast for two, was 2 juices and 2 bowls of fruit. Too expensive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The 'clean' glass provided in the room upon check-in had toothpaste residue from the previous guest and gook at the bottom. I never before checked this, assuming that the glasses were washed. I will check the glasses in the future! Other than that, the hotel was acceptable.

The building is dated, but the view from the restaurant is wonderful and the food is very good.

Obviously this Red Lion has been around for quite awhile and undergone some renovations, but it has everything that is expected of a quality, modern hotel. We attended a function in the ball room downstairs and stayed the weekend. Good location, on a small lake, great staff, good food in the restaurant. We had a great time.

Here for a week stay. I have nothing negative to say whatsoever about the cleanliness & comfort of the hotel. Everyone was professional and courteous. The Restaurant service was relaxing and atmosphere of the servers are very welcoming. I will most definately recommend this hotel.

The name Red Lion means to me affordable quality. I did not find that here. The hotel looks nice enough but in my room I found some issues. First off I snoop into everything so I was suprised to find that the ice bucket was full of water. I reported that to the front desk as I was leaving to meet with my mother and was assured it would be taken care of. When I returned the young lady from housekeeping personaly appoligized to me, which was nice. I was then looking at the 2 water bottles on the desk and as I was reading that they cost 2.00 each (something that should be included don't you think?) I noticed that one of them was missing the plastic seal and was in fact open! I took this to the front desk and was advised that I would not be charged. I then went in for dinner and sat in the lounge area. I had the lobster and crab melt which was very good but I did notice that though the chairs were rather comfortable they really needed to be recovered. They just looked shabby. Back in my room I steped out onto the patio to walk the grounds as I was on the ground floor, I noticed a paper cup on the air conditioner full of water and ciggerett butts. Now I do smoke and respect non smoking rules but the staff should really look at ALL areas of a room before calling it clean. Removing the grimey handprints from the glass would be nice too. All in all I would think twice about staying again and really had higher expectations from a Redn Lion Inn.

Perfect for a night en route to elsewhere, the Red Lion Olympia offered a warm welcome, clean and comfortable accommodation, and was located near to amenities and major roads. It was a great find.

The hotel itself was very nice and the staff was pleasant. We unfortunately stayed on a night that they had parties going on in the banquet rooms. Our room was relatively close so our door was constantly being pushed and jiggled with the intoxicated party goers. The banquet breakfast the next morning was definitely not worth the money.

The hotel was comfortable and clean and the staff were courteous.

The hotel is great place for family vacation. excellent location and superb facility. Highly recommended for family vacation hotel.

The Red Lion is definitely showing some age. While the location is perfect and the people are friendly, the hotel is in DIRE need of some renovations. The rooms are musty and uncomfortable. For such a prime location they should provide a better quality establishment.

We had a nice big room on the ground floor. Very animal friendly. The only drawback was the mattress was much too soft. The lady who checked us in was very sweet--it is nice to see a senior hired. Thank you,

Nice and comfortable.

For it's location and price, beautiful lobby and I wish we would have had a room on the "view" side, make sure to ask! That overlooks the water, we looked directly at a building making our room very dark. Beds were probably the most comfortable I have been at a hotel.

I was just here for a quick overnight on my way north, but during the short time I spent, I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the facility was. My room was very comfortable and super clean.

This was a great hotel. The beds were very comfortable. My only complain was that the room smelled a bit moldy.

Without a GPS we would never have found this hotel. We were new to Olympia and the hotel was outside the city, and it was getting dark. I was a little disappointed with the hotel, we have stayed in other Red Lion hotels and this hotel did not meet our expectation. As a matter of fact we were unable to shower in the morning due to a power outage in building.it was pitch black. I do have something positive to say, the food in the restaurant was good, on a negative note, the linen on the bed looked like the bed had been slept in many days.

We've stayed at the Red Lion before and had a great experience. This time, we found it lacking. Hair on the bathroom floor, clothing tags under the edge of the bed on the floor and the paint and bathroom door needs some general maintenance. Maybe it was just the room we had this time????

Very satisfied. Setting was very attractive, employees were very helpful, The TVs in the room could be updated.

I was not too impressed with the "newness" of the carpets and hotel interior as I arrived, but my opinion of the place went higher and higher as I stayed. The staff was excellent. I asked for a microwave oven and it arrived in minutes. The employee who delivered it and set it up refused a tip. I discovered in the morning that I had forgotten to bring an antiperspirant. I called room service and had one in less than one minute. The bed was very comfortable, and the buffet breakfast in the morning was wonderful and less than $7.00. The next time I go to Olympia, I will stay here again. No question.

Comfortable, beautiful. Only downside, walls a little thin. Highly recommended

I enjoy the happy hour, Friday. Prime rib and the pool.

was fine except for the food prices were too high, plus $2.00 for one bottle of water wse outrageous, we went to Target got 24 bottles of 3.97, hallways were pretty hot and screens on the windows wouldhave been nice to have. otherwise, was pretty good.

We enjoyed our firt experience in a red lion. Only objection was the perpetual pop music both inside and ouside the hotel, inclusing the lobby. Restaurant and pool area.

All was great. Great food too and staff

Hotel is a bit long in the tooth and could use refurbishing, but otherwise OK
