The hotel couldn't be easier to find & the young man at the front desk was especially friendly & helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. The rooms were large and nicely furnished however the walls were not the least bit sound proof. We could hear the entire conversations in the next room and the TV. In the halls you could hear all the way to the elevator everything said in each room. Luckily by the time we returned to the hotel after dinner the next door room had gone out so we didn't hear them again until morning. It is a nice place- too bad they cannot do something about the room noise factor.

Friendly Staff, great location! Very close to Kittery and downtown Portsmouth.

I spend roughly half the year in hotels for work, mostly Hilton chain stuff (Hampton Inns,etc.) I assumed this would be of similar quality to a Super 8 I had recently stayed in at a similar price. Dead wrong. Rooms very clean, bedding modern and comfortable, bathroom clean. TV's are older, but work just fine. Hallways are dimly lit and showing signs of wear, but clean. Front desk staff helpful and friendly. Free breakfast is nothing to be excited about, but is better than nothing. Excellent value for the price, as they obviously take pride in their work and their facility here. Will definetely stay here again.

Hotel was in good condition, staff was friendly. Room was typical. Bed was fairly comfortable. It was fine for a business trip but would look elsewhere if I wanted a weekend getaway. Good room for the money though. Close to downtown portsmouth where all the food is.

I paid $70 bucks total for a king bed at this hotel...you get what you pay for. It was just a pit stop on our trip but I wouldn't use this place for any more than that! Coffee sucked!!!

Good value for money-rooms were clean but doors and hallways are starting to show signs of wear.

Paid $69 w/ tax through hotels.com. I wasn't expecting much for the price, but was pleasantly surprised. I have no complaints especially for the price. People I was traveling with paid $180 for downtown Portsmouth plus parking fees. Would definitely stay there again.

We were very happy and comfortable. Got an extra blanket right away and the room and bathroom were very spacious. Just as nice as any other hotel that we have paid double for. Will definitely stay again.

I was very disappointed in my stay. The toilet clogged and the man at the front desk handed me a plunger!! There were no toiletries in the room (soap but no shampoo). The beds were billed as being extremely comfortable and they were the worst I have slept on in a hotel in a VERY long time. I only needed to be there one night so wasn't worth scoping out someplace else to stay but would not book at another one.

The hotel is clean, the staff were very nice and it is right off the highway. The rooms are basic, but had a roomy,bright bathroom; an iron and board, and a small refrigerator and microwave. The beds were comfortable and clean. You can even use the pool and get a discount on food at the nearby Holiday Inn (same owners). There is a small gym and laundry available at the hotel, also. I stayed for 3 nights and am staying for 5 more this next week. You really can't beat the price. It is where I'll stay when I'm in this area again.

This was exactly what I expected. Stayed here for one night between cities. Nice selection at the continental breakfast. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Good low rate for a nice hotel.

Older style Hotel.Room was recently renovated.Was clean and seemed well kept.Easy access to I95.nice Cont. breakfast to send you on your way in am.Would stay again.

The only thing that was not quite perfect about the hotel room was that multiple portions of the wallpaper were peeling and the lighting was a little bit dim. Considering this was only $15 more expensive than a Motel 6, I wasn't expecting much-- but I got free wifi, continental breakfast, as well as a mini-fridge and microwave. The bed was even comfy! Staff was friendly and prompt with assistance. WILL DEFINITELY stay again the next time I am in the area.

Other than the obvious hooker letting her client in a side door, our stay was as expected. The beds were a bit small. I'm 5'8 and slept diagnol so my feet didn't hang over the edge. In all the place was clean and the front desk staff was really nice to my daughter.

Lobby and halls were run down, but the room was clean and comfortable. When I walked into the lobby, it smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke that I asked if the rooms were smoky at all but they were fine.

I needed a hotel close to bus transport for Boston Logan airport. This was a last minute decision but the price was excellent and hotel condition was very acceptable. Overall, I made a good choice.

Price was right, had a good comfortable sleep, very basic and a little older, nice breakfast, front desk staff very pleasant.

Its Winter in Portsmouth,NH. No comforters in the Bed. Just a bed sheet. if you could provide Comforters, it will be awesome

For the price, the room did the job. It was clean and the people were nice. 5 minutes and your downtown. I would stay again.

Me and my girlfriend just needed an inexpensive place to stay for a night here in Portsmouth, and this place had exactly what we needed. Nice staff, clean rooms, working facilities, and a nice location. It doesn't have many bells and whistles, but that's not what we were looking for. Clean, good price, good location. Would reccomend.

Service and front desk people were awesome, very professional! Rooms are clean, ours was a King size , and it was wonderful - big, lots of space, microwave and fridge in the room, nice size of bathroom too. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and be back there myself.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are being updated and everything was in good order. Not a luxury hotel but clean and conveniently located.

The hotel's location is excellent as one can get to Kittery ME and beyond quickly. The hotel's owner also owns a Holiday Inn one block from the Americas Best. We were able to walk to that hotel for dinner and drinks which can be purchased at a 10% discount. The hotel could use new carpeting throughout as the current carpets look old and dingy. The continental free breakfast was adequate, but tables were not cleaned after use and toasters were very slow to toast bread, English muffins and bagels. Yogurt was only available one of the three mornings we were there. Coffee was plentiful, hot and very tasty. We will probably use this hotel during future visits to the Portsmouth area.
