Really wished there was a coin operated laundry at this hotel.

Everything was really clean, friendly staff. The only complaint, if any, would be that we had get our keys reprogramed everyday. Even though everytime we would bring them we would tell them we'd had to do that everyday and it never changed. Stayed a total of 4 nights

Simple hotel. Friendly front desk. A little dated furnishings. Not much in the surrounding area for better dining.

Hotel has no elevator - don't stay here if you need one. It's old and dirty. Bed mattresses very thin and lumpy. Parking lot on slope and too narrow. Dangerous to park cause there isn't enough room. Breakfast was not good. This hotel is an embarrassment to Choice Hotels. Spend the money to drive to the next exit. It is worth it. Area is old and rundown too. Will never stay here again.

Overall the stay was ok. We got there late, and it was raining- made for some pretty waterfalls off the rockface the next morning, though. As we are (obviously?) traveling, it would be very wise to make obvious the time-change, as the hotel is near a zone-line. waking everyone up to find breakfast wasn't ready for another hour, due to the time change, was not fun. All in all, an older building, but comfortable and clean.

Easy to book via Hotels.com, easy to find from the freeway. Close (easy walking distance) to a very good Mexican restaurant (El Torel). Very friendly, professional staff. Very clean, comfortable room. So So but acceptable breakfast. Will stay here again on our next trip to FL.

The door to the hallway let in so much light I could see in the room with the lights off. When I complained to the front desk about it I was told to put a towl around the door. I would not stay in that hotel again.

I enjoyed my stay while visiting family in Whitwell, I wish the rooms had larger pillows, these are way too small. I will be returning since I have family in the area.

Hotel was surprisingly clean/new. Bedding was nice-amenities good. The surrounding neighborhood is a typical strip-mall area with lots of food options - mostly fast-food. Hotel is near the I-24 and is about 20 minutes from Chattanooga or 20 minutes from Monteagle/Sewanee. It meets all of the expectations I'd have from a 2 star hotel. The area is a little crowded w/ interstate/restaurant traffic (there is a WalMart behind the hotel). Other than that - good stay. Very friendly, helpful night-staff.

The location, decor, comfort and cleanliness of the room were perfect for my needs. I needed quick access to the highway to visit my son for parent weekend at Sewanee University, 20-30 miles away. The staff at the front desk were moderately friendly. Answered questions but did not go out of their way to make me feel welcome and did not encourage me to let them know if I had any further questions. My room card key did not work one time which was inconvenient, because I had to go back out in the rain to go to the lobby and get them to rekey it. The lady at the desk rekeyed it, but did not say "sorry for the incovnenience" or anything to me to let me know she understood it was frustrating. When I checked in, the lady at the desk was efficient, but profunctory. The front desk service was the only marginally negative I experienced at the hotel. My room was very clean,nice and comfortable.

good location-close to the mountains. Have stayed here for several years & it has been good. Little bit overpriced tho.

Good: The room was ok, decently quiet, check-in and -out was smooth and quick. The hotel is located next to a shopping center with a couple of walking distance restaurants, and nicely convenient to the interstate. Bad: TV channel guide in the room is way out of date, only basic cable is there, wireless coverage is in "common area" only. There was also mildew in some corners of the bathroom and a general odor in the hallways. Overall: I wasn't upset with the stay because there really isn't a better choice in the area, but if a new option appears, I'll definitely try it.

nice clean hotel, breakfast was good also.area seemed safe and near shopping. slightly dated but very acceptable for price.

Nice little hotel. A little run down but large comfortable rooms. Located next to Cracker Barrel and Walmart. Lots of dust on carpet under desk. Worn out carpet in hallways. Nice helpful and friendly personell.

Hotel was in the process of being remodled but my stay was still comfortable.

Enjoyed our stay at Comfort Inn. The room was comfortable, beds were soft and the breakfast was delicious. Rate on hotels.com was great even though it was a little bit further from Chattanooga than we needed to be. Otherwise, a nice hotel.

This hotel was in a good location for eating and shopping, but it seemed like it was a little older of a building. But overall, our stay was pleasant, and the breakfast bar was good.

Our room with two beds was big and fairly clean. No real complaints, although it looked as if the recent touch-ups to some plaster, etc. hadn't been painted after a long interval since their completion. The breakfast was decent and the make-it-yourself waffle hit the spot. It was a good find in a pinch and price was right.

Ice machine broken...only access to my no smoking room was via running a gauntlet of smokers...parking was horrible...parking spots were very narrow and parking was limited...view from room was wall/window of another room 5 feet away...hot water ran out early in evening

Hallway leading to room was very smelly-like it had been steam cleaned but not properly dried-hall carpets could use to be replaced. Room itself was clean-no odors, with a comfortable bed. Breakfast included the normal breads and cereals. Biscuits, gravy, sausage and eggs, as well as waffle maker-could have used some fruits.

Room was ok but the hall carpet was stained & dirty!

wasnt sure how it would be based on the reviews, but it was very nice. The only thing was the tv remote did not work very well. Other than that, no complaints.

It's no Hilton but the room was clean and comfortable, the wireless internet worked fine, the rooms are interior access, the staff is friendly, and it's right next to a wal mart and a great little Mexican restaurant with the best fish tacos I've had in a while. The room was nice and has a fridge. I paid what I expected (no surprise charges).
