First class. Staff could not have been more helpful. Comfort great for a budget Hotel. Food excellent. Definitely will return.

The street in front of the hotel was being repaired which detracted from the appearance. Otherwise the location is extremely convenient due to easy access to Brussels Sud airport. Travel from Brussels airport is easy, only one train change at Brussels Nord for Charleroi station.

Staff was super nice. I booked twice by mistake and they simply cancelled my extra reservation. They were always available. Only negative remark: very very weak niternet connection in my room. Down in the lobby was fine

Simple but nice hotel for overnight stay. Location is perfect if you travel by train - just cross the road from the station. Friendly and helpful staff. Taxi from the hotel to Charleroi airport is cheap (€15 or €4 if you share with the others).

We stopped here because it was close to the boat lifts at Strey-Thieu. The walk up into the centre was nice and there were a few good cafes nearby. We liked the secure car park but didn't like being asked to pay twice (i.e. room was already paid for up front) - that should be easy to get right.

The wifi service was almost non-existent. It did not extend to the rooms. There was very poor reception at the bar but nowhere else in the hotel. This was a problem for my business. This was the only criticism, everything else was very good.

This hotel was wonderfully convenient to the train, metro, buses and in easy walking distance to numerous attractions. Hotel staff were helpful, especially the woman who worked evenings; I think language is a slight barrier. Ask at the desk for a map with the hotel on it; it's a good, clear map showing numerous attractions. The room was clean and comfortable. A computer is available in the lobby for guests to use. I'd definitely stay there again if I return to Brussels.

This hotel offers a warm welcome and good service, in a location that is extremely close to the train station and bus station. Great for an overnight stay if you travel to Brussels Charleroi with Ryanair, as the buses start at 05:30 and airport is only 20 minutes away. Much better to be in town than some remote airport motel.

This is a typical basic Ibis hotel with OK service and rooms. Very conveniently located right in front of the Charleroi Sud train station, which was great for our late night arrival at the station and early morning departure from Charleroi Airport.

When catching an early flight from Charleroi there are only a limited number of choices, the Ibis is one of them. Arrive late sleep, shower and leave. Skip the extra charge breakfast. Buses leave for the airport starting a 6 am. Eat at airport after going through secruity. Good apple turnovers and coffee. Trains arrive from Brussels at a station 3 mins away from hotel same distance to the bus stop in morning. Allow lots of time to check in at Charleroi, the security moves at a snails pace.

The hotel was no more than we expected. The most important thing for us was the location and it couldn't be more perfect. We had an early flight at Charleroi airport so we had to catch the A line bus to it. The stop of the bus is infront of the hotel and also in front of the train station. The room is a little bit small but we don't need more for one-night stay. So overall we are pleased.

Хорошее расположение: 100 метром от жд станции. Легко добраться до аэропорта. Номер чистый. Персонал вежливый. Был интернет. Кровать довольно жесткая.

Bra läge vid tågstationen. Duger aldeles utmärkt om man flyger till Charleroi och vill övernatta innan vidare resa. Finns en trevlig pub 100m från hotellet som har öppet så länge ni vill. ;)

Helt OK i forhold til jernbane og resten av sentrum. Interessert og bra oppfølging fra resepsjonsvakt.

Très bon accueil malgré une heure d'arrivé tardive. Une chambre correcte et propre, satisfaisante au regard du coût. Le petit déjeuner, dont le prix est assez élevé (14€), propose un choix satisfaisant. A recommander pour un court séjour "d'affaires".

rien a faire le soir dans le quartier

garage annoncé comme compris dans le prix, mais obligé de le payer sur place. Chambre précisée "fumeur" et celle donnée "non fumeur".

L'hôtel est bien situé (face gare) mais tout autour c'est un quartier très bizarre: de très nombreux commerces sont fermés, ce qui sont ouvert on souvent les vitrines cassées et le tout entouré de sdf, drogué et prostitué. l’hôtel est bien mais pas le quartier. Le petit dej de l’hôtel est cher(14€) pour ce que c'est, pas mauvais mais ça ne vaut pas le prix.

First, we got a dirty room that was not cleaned out. The replacement room was clean, but the window opened onto roofs and chimneys. The wifi was free but very slow. Only positive thing that is close to the train station.

trés bonne hotel super bien situé, a 5 minutes de l'arret de bus qui vous mènes a l'aéroport de bruxelles charleroi sud, auprés de l'hotel divers restaurant, et bar, cet hotel est situé tout prés de la gare et de la gare routière pour le tramway et les bus. HOTEL EN PLEIN CENTRE, trés agréable, les points faible il ne possède pas de restaurant mais par contre il y a un bar, et un service 24/24 pour snack et pizza.

Ik gebruikte dit hotel als tussenstop voor een vroege vlucht vanaf Charleroi. Ideaal gelegen aan het treinstation Charleroi-Sud en directe busverbinding naar de luchthaven. De grote winkelstraten zijn in de nabijheid van het hotel. Het historisch centrum ligt nog iets verderop. Proper hotel dat aan alle basiscomfort voorziet zonder overdaad aan luxueuse afwerking.

Charleroi is een stad om verliefd op te worden, het staat bekend als lelijke stad, maar voor ons prikkelend met ongelooflijk vriendelijke mensen overal in Charleroi en omgeving. Charleroi is zeer aan te bevelen. Mooie musea, lekker eten en goede kroegen. Helaas was er in het hotel onduidelijkheid over de kosten van het parkeren, volgens de hotel website was het gratis, volgens het hotelpersoneel niet. Het Ibishotel is een mooie centrale plek met uitzicht op de Samber en een prachtig station.

bon sejour dans cet hotel ibis rien d extraordinaire .....mais l ensemble est plus que correct avec un petit "dej" tres copieux .....L acceuil irreprochable.

Väldigt nära stationen Charleroi south, härifrån går buss A till flygplatsen varje halvtimme (20 min 3€). Relativt små och enkla rum, individuell reglering av kylan fungerade väldigt bra.

Buss flrån Charleroi flygplats stannar ca 50 meter från hotellet. Bussen kostar bara 3 euro. Perfekt och smidigt när vi bara skulle vara en natt där och sedan tillbaka till flygplatsen eftersom man ändå hamnar i stan och kan se den. Mycket prisvärt. Enkelt men trevlig personal och bra service.

Extremely well-located hotel in regard to airport buses, trains etc. Rooms smallish, but not too small. Well-kept. Wide variety of Belgian beers in the lobby bar. OK restaurant just around the corner: La Bruxelloise. Try their Cafe Liegois! Don't leave Charleroi before you have seen the city's one an only equestrian statue: Luck Luke on top of his sarcastic horse! Such things make me like Wallonia!

Situé a proximité de la gare, chambre correct, dommage qu'il n'y ai pas de restaurant dans l'hotel.

Chambre petite. Pas de place pour poser une valise et donc c'est soit au sol ou sur le lit. Sinon que dire de Charleroi ??? Triste et c'est bien dommage

E' un hotel da due stelle non da tre. Avevamo chiesto una doppia con letti separati, ci hanno dato una matrimoniale con letto aggiunto. Il letto aggiunto era una branda impresentabile costituita da rete e materasso. L'arredamento è modesto. Dettagli non curati, mancava anche il sapone nella doccia. Buona la pulizia e la posizione vicino alla stazione dei treni e all'autobus per l'aereoporto. Personale abbastanza cortese Prezzo alto per la qualità dell'hotel. La colazione è pure esclusa e costa 13 euro!

Wij waren in dit hotel voor een nachtje om vervolgens weer door te reizen. De bedden waren prima en de kamer en de badkamer waren schoon en netjes. Het gordijn zorgde er niet voor dat het helemaal donker werd in de kamer wat, zeker in de ochtend, wel even wennen was.

hotel ideal si tienes que volar desde el aeropuerto de Charleroi, 15 minutos en taxi y 20 en autobús. También cerca del centro de la ciudad, se puede ir andando. Habitaciones amplias, personal amable.
