Hilton Malta - מלטה (הכל)

Very good location (probably best in Malta). great sea view, nice, spacious rooms. Reception personnel very freidly and well trained. The weak point of this hotel is the breakfast restaurant- quality and selection of food is just average and you will have to start your day by waiting in line at the entrance untill they are able to check some lists and find a table . If you complain about this, don't expect any excuse- they will just try to teach you good manners and show you how patient other gustes are waiting. Otherwise- top hotel.

Pictures in the website does not come close to the reality of the real rooms. I choose the hotel from the reviews - but I was in chock. The people a friendly and nice - then roomserviceis quick - but that is it... It is a turist factory with busses comming in and out and overcrowded breakfirst buffet and pool with english and german tourists.Hotel is old design... super loud - no isolation, humid and borrowing interior , pay tv did not work almost 2 days, for business travellers a nightmare... I would definitively not stay there again - and it should have 3 "stars" to be fair.

This was my wife and I first visit to Malta. We have stayed at several Hilton Hotels in the past. The staff at the hotel was very nice. The only small problem that we had was on the last day of our stay. We would go out running in the mornings before it got to hot. The staff on duty held our room key cards till we came back. On the last day of our stay, we went running and, as usual, gave our room key card to this guy at the front desk. He told me that he couldn't hold our cards. He said he was the Hotel Manager. I told him that for 5 days your staff held our cards, evidently you need to be a better manager. He took our cards and we went. Other than that, no problems. Beautiful view of the sea. The location of the hotel is about a 5 minute walk from a grocery store and about a 8 minute walk to the nearest bus stop. Don't eat at the hotel. Too expensive. Breakfast was 20 Euro per person. We ate breakfast at other places and we paid 10-14 Euro for the two of us.

Beautiful clean relaxing hotel. The staff are lovely and did their best to accommodate us in every way.

OK, it's a 5* property, but they really do their job well. A burst pipe caused some issues hotel-wide and all was fixed in a few hours. Our room had a slow drain- same thing. Fixed by the time we got back from a tour bus trip. Highly recommended, and their Thai restaurant is superb.

Fantastic service throughout our stay but surprised that no free Wi-Fi in common area.

We have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions as we make regular business trips to Malta. This has always been our preferred choice. However, this time we felt that the hotel is starting to look a bit tired. The public areas are fine, but we were in one of the executive plus rooms, decorated in contemporary style and it was really ready for refurbishment.The service as always was superb and the Blue Elephant Thai restaurant is a reason for visiting the hotel on it's own!

Location was great, excellent health club and friendly helpful staff. I only ate breakfast which was good but can't comment on the restaurant.

All the reviews on the Hilton Malta are correct-perfect location, efficient and friendly staff, great restaurants, outstanding cleanliness and gorgeous sea and harbor views. This is hardly a complaint but the pillows were like flat sandbags, we find this around Europe tho and since everything else was perfect it wasn't a huge bother.

An absolute oasis in the bedlam of Paceville.

Excellent hotel, real luxury and clean, well maintained with responsive staff. On par with best hotels in other places. Best gym facilities I have seen and executive lounge is great. Indoor swimming pool is excellent but water in outside pools is too cold. Be careful of other similar hotels as the location can be in the streets. Best tips: Food in hotel is expensive for regular family dining but there are many good restaurants just outside that are cheaper. Also there is a laundry in St Julians that's useful with a family (we have 3 kids). Pick a room with access to the executive lounge. If you eat Halal food there are a couple of basic restaurants in Silema. Also everything is in walking or short taxi ride distance so not worth hiring a car.

Great Mini-Break as we live on an Island ourselves! THE BLUE ELEPHANT IS AMAZING ~ Thai Restaurant !

The hotel lobby and pool area are good but rooms are not 5 star.I have been in 4 star hotels with better quality rooms, Will rate this hotel 3 star if it wasn't for the gorgeous balcony. Breakfast is way to expensive to what is been offer. staff are polite and location is great.

Hotel was awesome, great facilities and fantastic breakfast. Overall service was good but varied a little with different staff. Booked an oceanview room but had views of the marina, not ocean - room was still very nice, and told us there would be taxi's out the front when we checked out at 5.45am but there wasn't and we had to order but we still made our plane. Would definitely come back apart from those two things. Close to bus and restaurants and beautiful surroundings. Beautiful hotel

Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Room given not as originally offered in advert, not a sea view more a mariana view, although quiet and sunny for afternoon sun. Breakfasts nice but not exceptional have had same quality in lesser rated hotels. Not enough pro-active local imformation of restaurants promoting themselves or of the local shopping centre usual though for Malta although they are getting there! This is are 7th visit to Malta the first to the Hilton I would return if the same special deals applied, but not a full rates.

Folks are racist in the hotel. Although i booked a King Bed, they simply put to twin beds together and told me that was a King Bed. When I asked, they told me that the Hotel was over booked. That whole experience succked!

Fabulous hotel in a wonderful location. It has been 30 years since we visited Malta and needless to say there have been many changes! We were in the Portomaso area which is very plush with lots of really good restaurants. The tour bus is really good and the local bus service is excellent. The only slight niggle with the hotel is that they take 500 euros off your credit card then refund it 3 to 5 days after your stay! Have never experienced this before in all the hotels I have stayed in!

Nothing bad to say about this hotel other than when checking in and out of the hotel there was always a massive queue so you end up waiting longer than necessary. Other than that I loved staying there.

We have stayed in the Hilton in Malta on a previous occasion, before the extension was built, and we were worried that this may have made it too big. On the contrary, there is now an additional pool which is adult only, perfect if, like me, you love to swim and don't want lots of ball games and rubber toys! There were always lots of sunbeds around the pool, though it could get crowded at weekends. We had a sea view room on the tenth floor, which is one of the Executive floors. The room is spacious and the addition of an ironing board meant we always looked smart! The room is serviced well. The lounge is excellent with a good choice at breakfast and excellent canapes and drinks in the evening. There is a choice of 6 restaurants. We loved The Blue Elephant (the Thai restaurant), the Saturday night buffet at Oceana and the Beach Club, right by the edge of the sea. We booked this for the night of the full moon and to watch it rise out of the sea was so beautiful. The staff are excellent,warm, caring and friendly. I was unfortunate to be ill when I was there and they were so kind and caring. A special thanks to Kristin and John in the Executive Lounge and Rin in The Blue Elephant, who knew that what I needed was a bowl of chicken soup! We love Malta and the Hilton is perfection. There are some excellent restaurants in walking distance if you fancy a change from the hotel. Chapter One, Ir Rokna and Lulu are recommended. We will return as soon as possible.

This was a 30th wedding anniversary celebration trip. The hotel was great - especially the staff. Every single one we encountered was friendly and helpful from the front desk to the breakfast staff to the pool and cleaning crews. The only complaint I had was that our room, although very clean, smelled extremely musty and was very damp - with the room closed up with the air conditioning on or opened up with air flow - we tried both. The dampness never went away. The comforter actually felt wet. But location was great, food was great, staff was great, the view was great and the pools were great - (although the indoor pool was drained when we were there). Would I stay here again - not sure- because of the room alone. Everything else was top notch.

We came for sun and relaxing and we did get a lot of both. The hotel is beautiful, the breakfast splendid (order some waffles), the Blue Elephant Thai restaurant is great, the Quarterdeck bar has superb cocktails and a nice view and the room was very nice. The bathroom with sea view was wonderful. In the surrounding neighborhood you find a supermarket, a lot of bars, restaurants, a cinema, clubs and lounges. Perfect for relaxing and to enjoy yourself. The pools are very nice, especially the adult pool near the sea. Would go there again! Six days wasn't enough!

The Hilton is a top class hotel you can not fault it! Superb service Top Class Food and Great Facilities.

Great Rooms with sea view overlooking swimming pool terraces. Plenty of pool area for sunbathing with outdoor snack bar and restaurants. Great place to stay. Close to St. Julian night life, plenty of bars and restaurants.

we spent 5 days at the hilton malta and i can honestly say it was one of the best breaks we have had,we arrived early and were welcomed with a refreshing glass of orange juice whilst checking that our room was ready so we could get rid of the cases and enjoy the sites.the breakfast was fantastic with something for all tastes and the location was within easy walking distance of spinola bay,paceville & sliema.the hotel staff were friendly & accommodating and the pools in the complex was great.it was a fantastic break and will definitely return

Super efficient, friendly staff. Great choice of places to eat within the hotel. Loved the Quarterdeck Bar. Great pool area, plenty of loungers and parasols. Fantastic room with access to no less than 3 balconies / verandas. Set back off the main road, so little if any road noise. Bit of a hike from St. Julian's bay and shops, but I was quite happy to stay in the hotel complex. Super choice at buffet breakfast. Only wish I'd had more time there. I'd definitely go back again.

The hotel was beautiful & the staff very friendly & helpful. We were lucky enough to be able to check in at 9:30am. Breakfast was great, so much to choose from! We also went to one of their "posh BBQ" nights which was great, a huge BBQ style buffet & make your own pasta! Would definately go back to Malta & this hotel, it was excellent! No faults whatsoever.

Hilton well located, very short walk to local cafes and restaurants. Top quality service, nothing too much trouble though they did say you hadn't passed on our request for interconnecting rooms so they moved us after one night when some became available. Excellent pools to choose from. Malta itself has plenty to offer the tourist but rather hot for sightseeing in July/August. Short fight from UK so ideal family holiday destination.

Stay only in the new part, where the finish is first class, we had to move as the older part was noisy through an adjoining door, no problems in the King Executive Room though. Staff very helpful and valet parking a bonus.

Without the following incident, the hotel was perfect: Comfortable and big room, with nice view. But the problem was the I was sick, and a day before checkout I asked to check out later at 9PM (by paying of course, even a full night). After few minutes of waiting I was told by the lady in the reception to come tomorrow and that she'll check it during that time and try to arrange a good price for me. I was happy since I thought it's only a question of money. The day after I had to wait again because she didn't know what to do again, and then I was told I can stay only until 4PM by paying some amount. Disappointed, I checked out earlier than the usual time.

What an awesome experience from once we entered the lobby it was special. Dining was magic and nothing short of a food adventure because each table was laden with beautifully presented food. Staff were always there to help you and what can I say about Edward the consiegere what a guy !!!! HAVE TO REPEAT THIS
