Very clean hotel, and friendly staff. The room was nothing special, bed was average comfort. The included breakfast was very basic, and nothing to brag about. Over priced for the value received.

This was the perfect location. The staff was very helpful and the rooms were very clean and roomy. Would defiantly choose this place for our next Key West trip.

lovely hotel, amazing location and a big room with a wonderful balcony. the only negative aspect is the bed was rather small and the air con was loud so we had to turn it off at night. because of the small bed this became very hot! other than that...wonderful!

hotel room very nice with living rm, kitchen and bedroom. well maintained and cleaned. grounds were nice. pool was small but nice. small is ok because hardly anyone used it. pool did get a lot of sun. not happy with location. if you are used to being close to all attractions, bars, restaurants then this is prob not the location for you. breakfast each morning was very nice. no hot breakfast but bagels, toast, muffins, fruit, yougurt, coffee, juice. this was our first stay in a bed&breakfast type hotel and we prob won't go this route again. 10+ years going to key west and returning to the hyatt and westin.

This was our first visit to the Island City Hotel. Lush gardens... very hidden... great staff... The location is about 4 blocks off Duvall Street so it's fairly quiet, however, Eaton is a "major" street in Key West, so there was a lot of traffic. Having the bikes on property was a great benefit... they were very well maintained and provided great transportation. Our room was clean, cute and well maintained, however the A/C was a wall unit located in the sitting area... it didn't cool our bed area very well. The breakfast was typical continental breakfast... I would think for the price of the room, they could have a bit more variety. All of this said, we would consider staying there again!

The room and property were very nice and clean. The house is older, but very well maintained and clean. The room we had was in the Island house. It was very spacious and was like a small one bedroom apartment with a kitchen. We took the Key West Express out of Ft. Myers. The Island House was within reasonable walking distance from where the boat arrives. We picked this hotel because of it's location being right in the middle of where the boat docks and Duval St. We didn't have to spend money on a cab, so it was worth the extra money to stay here. The pool was very nice and everyone staying there were very friendly. The front desk staff went above and beyond! They let you keep your luggage in their lobby until your boat leaves (check out is 11, have to be at boat by 5:30) so you have time to enjoy the day on the island without lugging around your bags. The hotel also has a cart set up in the morning for breakfast. Nothing fancy, but nice light fare to get your day going. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and overall have very positive experience. The breakfast got served late Saturday morning, and looked very poor compare to prior days. The room was very nice, with very spacious kitchen. I was inclined to cook something, but i was on vacation. Wooden floors were very squeaky, luckily there was no one above us.

We were very satisfied. Especially the excellent and friendly personnel made our holiday perfect.

IF you are looking for a quiet place a few blocks down from all the noise of Duval, this is the place! Excellent service and friendly staff, I would easliy recommend this place for anyone taking the Key West Express. Its only a few blocks away from the port, and is in walking distance of almost everything on the island. I look forward to our return trip to the Island City House Hotel

We loved this place!! Perfect location! Easy walk to Duval and Marianas! We will def go back and recommend to everyone!! Very relaxing morning breakfast, peacful by the pool!!

Positive: location is great, garden is lovely, property historic, pool is nice, staff are helpful, breakfast in courtyard is convenient. Negative: walls are VERY thin, we could hear conversations in next room. Bed was saggy, pillows thin. TV has vertical blue line though picture on many channels. When I asked about thicker pillows or fixing the tv, I got the "we're sorry, can't help" response.

Room was very clean and neat but rather small. We had a nice balacony room overlooking the street. The staff was very nice and efficient. Pool was nice too.

I loved this B&B. This was our first and we loved it. Diane at the front desk was so helpful and pleasant. Even the cleaning person who cleaned the room folded my pajamas for me and placed them on the bed. On our last night, we bought some fresh fish from a nearby fisherman and took it home to the room and cooked it. The corner gourmet store nearby had everything we needed. We will certainly stay here again and will explore B&Bs every city we visit. We just hope they can live up to the standards as this hotel. Before visiting,we also read the reviews just as you are reading this one and all of the positive reviews were on point. I will return.

A group of three historic homes in old town Key West turned into a great hotel. Only a few blocks away from the excitement of Duval St. but far enough away to get a good night sleep. We stayed in a double room. It was very clean and well maintained. Unfortunately our room was on the street side so it was a little noisy during the night so if you can, book garden side room. Speaking of which, the grounds around the hotel are quite nice with a lot of greenery. Breakfast is served outside at small cafe tables. I would recommend renting a bicycle, it was definitely the best way to get around town.

My wife and I decided, at the last minute, to book a room in Key West and drive down for a one night stay. We booked the room the night before online. We arrived at 8pm and the office was closed. There was a mailbox with a sign that read "late arrivals" where we found our room key, map and instructions to check in the first thing int he morning. We found the room and entire property to be incredibly clean and very charming. The pool area is shared by three properties and enclosed by a canopy of foliage that is well maintained. The air conditioning was working well and the room was very cool despite a very warm spring evening. Bed was comfortable and there was an efficiency kitchen along with a pull out sofa. Two flat screen televisions with Direct TV were available. We made the walk to Duval st. twice which was only a few blocks away. We were close enough that it wasn't a trek but far enough that the night life didn't disturb our sleep. I'd definately go back and bring the family. Well worth the cost of the room during their high season in Spring Break. The only downside is parking but that is an issue for the entire island of Key West. You can not park where a space is designated as "resident only". That requires a local license plate and sticker otherwise there is a hefty fine. We found a non-resident spot after circling the block a few times. We were ultimately parked about a block and a half from the hotel. Not really much of an inconvenience at all.

We loves the hotel, the service was great and the breakfast was just right.

everything we expected and more. convenient to ferry loved the cats- close enough to the action but not right in the middle of it excellent all around

Schöne Zimmer, sehr gepflegte Anlage und Super Lage. Ca 5 Gehminuten bis zur Duval Street. Schöner Pool im Hotel. Sichere Gegend rund um das Hotel. Man kann zu jeder Tages und Nachtzeit zu Fuß in die Stadt und zum Hafen gehen.

Struttura tipica dell'isola. Ben tenuta con buoni servizi. Camere ampie e caratteristiche. Pulizia ottima.

Wonderfull tropical garden, not far from mainstreet. Rooms (Cigar House) large and cosy. Absolutely recommended.

This hotel consists of several smaller wooden and quite appealing houses, where the apartments are,everything wonderfully integrated in a garden with a lot of plants and trees and some cats. We had the cheapest room and still got quite a nice "suite" with a sofa, kitchen and bed room (no separate rooms). The good: spacious rooms, perfect location (near to sunset square and Duval street), very friendly and helpful staff, awesome pool esp. in the evening. The bad: maybe breakfast could have been a bit more diverse. The ugly: The only thing to be aware of is the amenity fee that gets added to the standard price.

Das traumhaft schöne Herrenhaus mit Südstaaten-Charakteristik hat einen wundervollen Garten mit Pool und tropischen Pflanzen. Einige Suiten sind im Hinterhaus untergebracht, das wohl einmal eine Zigarrenmanufaktur war oder ein Lagerhaus. Unsere Suite war mit einer wirklich vollständigen Küche ausgestattet, samt Balkon. Das Hotel liegt mitten im Historc District, 2 Strassen von der Duval Street entfernt in ruhiger Lage. Insgasamt nicht billig, aber noch preiswert

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und würden das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen.

L'hotel, a breve distanza a piedi da Duval Street e dal porto, e' situato in un quartiere tranquillo e molto tipico e immerso in una magnifica vegetazione tropicale..le suites sono ampie e spaziose, con una cucina equipaggiata di tutto, 2 tv lcd, divano, bagno e belle camere da letto. I proprietari sono molto gentili e disponibili per qualsiasi richiesta e la colazione presso il giardino popolato di gatti e' piacevolissima. Consiglierei questo hotel a chiunque..un perfetto luogo di partenza per visitare Key West e per rilassarsi in un ambiente da sogno!
