The flip lock on the room door was broken, the door latched and dead bolted but didn't seal (I could see daylight all the way around the door), the bathroom door had a hole punched in it and children's drawing on it, the bathtub was peeling, the fridge barely kept the food cold, two lightbulbs burned out within minutes of being in the room--the desk clerk didn't know where any other lightbulbs were and there was no night maintenance person on duty. Our room was an outside entrance room. The hotel has indoor entrance rooms--I have no idea if they are in any better condition than ours was. I am scheduled to stay at this hotel again in a month and a half. I will be looking for other accommodations.

Conveniently located for our purposes, but bed was very uncomfortable. Couch was unusable because hide a bed was sticking out and not able to but back in. There was no soap or shampoo and had to go to front desk to get some. Room key never worked! We had to go to front desk every time we wanted to get in our room! Breakfast was okay. And room rate was low, and that was all this place had going for it

Hotel convenient location. Night manager has a bad attitude. Mattresses saggy but i slept well. Found items from previous guest under the bed. Bathroom was clean. A/C and heat were difficult to adjust - the knob for setting whether you wanted hi or lo heat or hi or lo AC spun round and round, not sure what it was pointing to.

Good breakfast and great location.

Our room smelled! We tried fabreeze didn't even touch the smell. Our keeys kept not working. We got locked out of the motel 4 times. When we said we were having problems with them, the clerk told us we were messing with them. The pool wasn't working and wouldn't for at least a week. Breakfast was so so. Ran our of syrup and had to wait while they went to the store to get some. Needs to be updated badly.

Pool closes at 8 despite signs stating 24 hour pool. Jacuzzi was closed. Mattresses were really bouncy, but I slept just fine. Overall, not bad at all.

Overall my stay was pleasant. The room was clean and the location easy to find. The breakfast was good but a very small area for teh number of guests.

It was not good. Very dirty. Horrible customer service. Pool was broken, and internet didnt work. I was very upset with our stay

The price.

I was a little nervous reading reviews of this hotel online. Thankfully, upon our stay, I realized many of those reviews are blown way out of proportion. Don't get me wrong, it's not a perfect-condition hotel, but you're paying a budget rate. And for that rate, I feel like the quality was great. Breakfast could've been improved a little bit, but we're very satisfied with our stay!

Staff needs a little more training on basic services. Helpful and friendly but didn't have all the info. needed.

Staff is awesome, so friendly. The room was very comfortable with great amenities - fridge, microwave, large screen TV, great variety of television viewing, free internet.

The hotel had recently changed management and the current management inherited all the previous issues, but the hotel room was leaking water from the roof, it took over an hour to check in, and the pool was closed the entire time we were there. I usually know what I'm getting into when I stay at Super 8, but this was worse than that by far.

The loudest refrigerator ever all night long.

On my recent stay at super 8 Provo .on the plus side. The staff was courteous a d plesent. The location was close to where I needed to be and the price was perfect. (There w as a choice of two. And a hotels .com rep suggested this one. ) the minuses where some basic maintanance needs, rooms in need of an update and noisy guests slamming doors all night. But price , location and friendly staff mad e my stay addiqute.

No more, no less. Just what it is.

Seems a bit run down. We did get to see about seven cops take down a bad guy in our parking lot just outside our window. That was entertaining.

We stayed here with our 3 small children. When we arrived we were told that our small 4 year old could not share our King size bed with us so we would have to pay for a roll away. We did so, with cash. We had promised our kids that we would take them swimming in the pool after dinner that evening. So after dinner, we were setting up beds and waiting for our roll away to be delivered, when we pulled the hideaway bed out from the couch to find it filled with crumbs and dirt. Not only that but it would not lay flat on the floor as they are supose to. As we were examining it we found that it was not even attached to the couch. And to think I was going to put my 7 and 10 year olds on this bed to sleep. The springs that held the matteress up were all falling off and there were dirty towels under the couch. When the maintenace man arrived with the rollaway, we expected them to move us to another room but they came in and put a small bolt into one side and then promised to not charge us for our rollaway. They didn't even take the dirty towel. One the plus side, once we made it to the pool it was wonderful. Indoor, Heated like you were swimming in a hot tub. And breakfast in the morning was very clean, orderly, and many choices including warm fresh waffles.

our stay was comfortaable. find rooms dark with the lighting even when the lights are all on. having a dark wall does not help - red. no suitable plug in for a curling iron - need one near a mirror. can't plug curling iron in in the bathroom plug in. we found the staff helpful and polite.

Big screen TV, microwave, fridge, & free continental breakfast close to restaurants and it was among the cheapest prices at hotels.com. A little older property that could use some capital improvements but it was clean and a value for that we paid.

This hotel advertises free internet service. We were not able to receive internet service. Spoke with the hotel staff, they could not fix it. Per the hotel staff a few of the rooms could not receive internet service. If you need to have internet, it is a good idea to ensure that your room has access. They do have a computer in the lobby for the guest to use, but it has a time limit of 15 minutes.

When we got to our room the smell was awful! It was a musty mildew smell that was almost overwhelming! This was the beginning of Jan and the temp in the room was 50 deg or so. The heater in the room was so small the room didnt reach 70 till 4 or 5 hours later! Then we figured out the hard way that the chain in the toilet was broke and you had to flush it with your hand! Upon leaving for dinner we realized the door handle was installed backwards and it would not shut. It had to be slammed if you were shutting it from the outside. Be sure you bring your own pillows if you stay here cause thiers are about as thick as the towels. I didnt expect a fancy place staying here but it is grose! and run down! I highly recomend you pay the extra 20 bucks to stay some where else!!!

It was pretty good overall. I think it was nice.

We have stayed at this motel many times before and found it very satisfactory for the price. This time we were very disappointed. I understand there is new management and I don't think they are doing very well. We asked for a nonsmoking room and were given one where it was obvious that someone had recently smoked in the room. We had a problem with the lights on one side of the room not working and the hair blower in the bathroom not working--probably a blown fuse. We reported early in the morning and asked to have it fixed or be able to change rooms. Nothing was done that day. The next day we were promised it would be fixed, but still wasn't so we insisted on changing rooms. Again, we were given a room that had obviously been smoked in so we asked for another. There were no door hangers in the room to indicate whether we wanted room service or not and other guests went outside on the 2nd level to smoke by the outside door. The cigarette ashes were never cleaned up and the smoke drifted in through the hallway of the whole floor. We will probably not choose to use this motel again. The bathroom floors in both rooms had dark marks on the flooring that needed to be scrubbed off or lightened; they made the bathroom look dirty.

If you are a BYU fan this is fun place to stay, especially if you are there for a football game, it is so close to the stadium. There are also BYU pictures of BYU greats and memorobelia all over. Its a bit old and run down and the TVs are CRTs not flat screen (but I thought I heard one of the desk workers say they are upgrading them soon), but for the price it is a good value. The breakfast is the best one I've ever had for the hotel rate, most hotels that are this cheap don't even offer breakfast. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful with everything. The biggest frustration I had was that the spa was closed for "maintenance", but there is a sign on the spa that says it is closed by the health department.

The location couldn't be beat for basketball and football game. However, the hotel seems to have gone downhill the last couple of years. The room had an odor (not as bad as the first one we asked to be moved out of,) chest of drawers was broken, and hot tub was closed by order of the county health department. Still, not a bad value, but it has been better.

It's an old motel so didn't shine like the new ones, but it was comfortable and a great value for the price. Within half a block of BYU and the stadium. Delicious waffles for breakfast.

They had clean the carpet with water and it was still wet and smelled real bad

I really enjoyed being with my boys and taking it easy. I was a bit disappointed that they couldn't come in the exercise room with me. They are older and my oldest knows how to use them (13 years). But, I was very satisfied and happy with how warm the pool was and that there was a coffee maker in the room for our cocoa. The breakfast was yummy and the Tv worked good. Thank you, though, because it was a wonderful opportunity and experience for the price! Sarah

The attendant was helpful and courteous. The room was fine except the bathroom needs some new flooring. The hallway smelled of smoke in some areas.

We had a good stay. However, the hotel is very old and the doors slam very loudly. It was nice to have breakfast. We might book again, but only when we go to a football game. Location is why we stayed and the location is unbeatable for football games.

I booked early for my Friday night stay following a late night game against Utah State. I got a great rate. For that rate, it was definitely worth it. Before going, I noticed that the best rate available on the day of was about doubled. For that rate, I would have to say, not quite worth it. But it was the closest hotel to the stadium and that is awesome. Room was alright, nothing too scary for me. It was really easy to hear everything going in in the hallway outside our room, starting at 6:30 AM. Having been up so late for the game and a subsequent midnight run for "dinner" after, we wanted to sleep longer, but that was hard to do with the outside noise. But overall, we were fairly happy with our stay.

Bed was very bouncy and unstable. Hard to find a resturaunt open on a Sunday night.

This was a clean room at a good price. The location is perfect if you are dropping off a missionary at the MTC.

The rooms were very dirty, pet rooms looked like they haven't been cleaned in months, the smell in the pet room could put someone in the hospital .... the other rooms bathroom was dirty, we had to cut our trip short do to the dirty rooms....

Our room was a bit dated but for the price it was fine. The hotel has a large pool which is open 24hrs. It's also next to the Brigham Young University (BYU) stadium, so you could catch a game or two.

We booked this room because it was right next to cougar stadium. Perfect fit for a late night game. The hotel is run down. Hall carpet is worn. The outside door next to our room would not lock. The spa was closed by the county health department. The pool area was dirty. Hair all over the floor. I don't think that it had been washed off all summer. Though the water was warm. The landscaping was not maintained. Broken chairs around the pool. We stayed three nights. Breakfast was good and rooms were fine for the price. I was just disappointed at the condition of the hotel. I expected A LITTLE more from a Super 8.

Jessica at the front desk treated me as an annoyance. Not as a guest. She could barely peel her eyes away from her smart phone to register my arrival. She did not greet me. No "Hello" or "Welcome" or anything. After 9 hours of traveling a faint smile would have been adequate. Later that evening, Jessica made a point of ridiculing me on the telephone when I was trying to get wireless access, which was not available. Mr. Proprietor, your hotel is a decent hotel for the money. Jessica needs to find work in a toll booth or maybe giving pedicures to trolls and ogres.

The place was FILTHY but I slept very comfortably in the bed provided. The carpet was so dirty and sticky that I had to wear my shoes the whole time I was in the room. The only reason I put up with it was because of the awesome location, right across the street from BYU. I've stayed in this hotel over the past 8 years as I've visited my students in Provo but this stay convinced me that I won't anymore. It has descended below the level of acceptability.

I stayed at Super 8 for a few days while helping my daughter move into her BYU apartment. It is older and outdated, but that's what I expected. This was not a vacation, so a nice resort-type hotel was not needed - just an expensive, clean, and safe place. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was pretty good. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel could definitely use some new wallpaper and carpet, but then the rates would probably go up. So, basically, I got what I paid for.
