Hotel room is good and the employees are courteous/friendly. Very good value in Barcelona.

Unlike most hotels in Europe where your confined to a shoebox - these rooms are huge (relatively speaking). Room was well equipped, wifi worked well and was located central to everything. Will stay here next time Im in Barcelona.

I stayed for 3 days 2 nights. OMG I regretted choosing this hotel the STAFF is NOT helpful at all, I asked for a map of the city they don't have one I went to a hotel not even a block away and they gave me one and I DIDN'T STAY THERE. So the hotel, well your continental breakfast for is NOT included, and costs 10 euros each. Don't rely on the hotel to exchange euros for you no they charge your card and a conveyance fee of another 3 euros. I gave this hotel a 1 out of 5 because 0 is not possibly.

really enjoyed staying here - it is in a central location, good for public transportation and the hotel is very reasonably priced and clean. I lived in Barcelona for 2 years and know the varying quality of hotels and their locations - I would recommend this to anyone that wants to travel on a budget and have a pleasant stay in a safe neighborhood.

friendly, accomodating staff. Practical hotel.. updated room, quiet and comfortable. Good location.. walkable from train station and to core of Eixample. comforable, clean and unpretentious.

It was perfect. Room was clean and staff was very friendly.

The desk workers are very courteous and helpful, and the hotel looks very modern. The bathroom is spacious and well maintained, and the furniture looks like new. The hotel is conveniently near the sants train station, and there is a cab stand directly outside the door, but if you are looking for the metro it is a 10 minute walk to the red, blue or green lines. The surrounding neighborhood is nice, but it would be better to be able to access the metro more easily.

It is difficult to find anything bad to say about the hotel itself. Clean, spacious and comfortable, friendly staff, we were lucky to have a top floor room complete with a little terrace. Didnt try the food so can't comment - the only thing that would have improved our stay would be if the hotel was picked up and moved a block or two closer to a Metro. Located in a quieter, more residential area, with a little supermarket just outside and a few cafes just 5 mins walk away towards the Hospital Clinic metro. But you can walk to the main tourist area, down to Gran Via and onto Place Catalanya into The Ramblas can be reached in around 20 - 25 mins on foot. A good 10 minute walk to nearest Metros at Rocafort or Hospital Clinic which we found were the best ones to use to change lines to get to the main sites. Once on the metro getting around is really easy, be sure to get your T10 ticket early on. But after walking SOOOooo much all day, every day, the last journey on foot from station to hotel was a bit of a strain. Overall - had a great time in the city and would recommend this hotel over other hotels nearer the busy areas.

This hotel is perfect for a shorter stay, a short walk to metro and Las Ramblas!

I had an excellent stay at the AB Vildomat Hotel over 4 nights in early October. The hotel staff was very friendly and very helpful about places to go and places to see. The neighbourhood is nice and quiet. the walk to the Sants Estacio or Terragona metro stations did not take long. Also not a long walk to the bus stop for the night bus to the airport if one is leaving at the crack of dawn. I would definitely stay there again!

The hotel staff was very friendly and complimentary internet access (computer station in the lobby) was very convenient. It was about a 5 minute walk to the nearest metro stop, and while the hotel isn't very close to any of the major tourist sites it is in a good neighborhood.

The hotel was clean quiet and comfortable. The staff were good and quite helpful for english speaking guests. The buffet breakfast was was reasonably priced and provided adequate choice. The local area has many cafe/bars to choose from with in a 3 block radius that have reasonable meals at a reasonable price. Location is only 30 min pleasant walk from centre of city.

friendly and helpful english speaking staff. rooms were clean and spacious. free wifi. fridge and desk in the room. hardwood floors. neighborhood didn't have very much in the area so you have to walk a bit to find restaurants and shops. metro is 4 blocks away so you can go to all the city attractions conveniently.

Clean, comfortable beds. Close enough to subway station; but not a stroll to main sights. The hotel is fine and staff was fine, but I wouldn't stay there again based on it's location.

Nice staff, calm location and not too far from Metro station. I liked the service at the front desk and the restaurant. Breakfast was good, but could be added as complementary. Overall I liked the hotel and the stay.

We thought this hotel was good for the price. Easy walk to/fom train station. Rooms are quite small, we do not spend much time in the hotel so it worked well for us. Very clean, very comfortable bed and pillows. nice bathroom area. Wi-fi did not work well, no one offered any apologies.

The hotel was spacious and clean, The bed comfortable and the minibar well stocked. We didn't even hear from other neighboring rooms. It was around ten blocks to two major squares (Plaza Espanya and Plaza de Calvo Sotelo). Though far from these plazas, the walk is quite pleasant since they have new walk paths/bicycle lanes in the middle of the road. The hotel is close to mid-range budget restaurants and budget restaurants as well as local fruit stands and mini-marts.

The hotel is very nice and the room was big, clean and comfortable.

We liked this hotel because it wasn't far from the major sights and it was close to the metro. We also appreciated the free Wifi that the hotel offered. Our room was huge and overlooked the street, but wasn't noisy at night.

The hotel is very nice for it's price - good bed, great shower, very clean and very kind staff. The neighborhood is peaceful and the nearest metro is a walk of 4-5 blocks (about 7 min. walk). If you are going to be most of the day walking the city streets, this is a great hotel at very reasonable price.

Everything was as expected with this hotel. Its a good quality, solid 3* hotel offering a good experience for a reasonable price. Although the hotel is not completely central to all the sights, if you don't mind a stroll then within 10-15 minutes you can be. Barcelona is spreadout anyway so you have to travel by public transport if you want to see most of the general tourist sights. The plus to this hotel is its in a good neighbourhood, with local shops and restaurants, is fairly priced and the staff are very helpful.

Very nice hotel, quite and clean....

Good, basic, functional hotel in a safe neighborhood. Good value. Our room had a rotted-out floor in one spot and the furniture was showing its age. But the staff was friendly and all was as expected.

Miellyttävä kokemus, meitä oli viisi pariskuntaa taas yhteisellä lomalla. Osa huoneista ( kaikki 1. kerroksesta ) oli kadulle ja aluksi liikenteeen melu häiritsi jonkin verran, myöhemmin siihen tottui. Pihan puoleiset huoneet hiljaiset. Aamiainen kohtuuhintainen, hyvä valikoima, pöytiä täydennettiin kiitettävästi.

Hôtel à éviter vu son rapport qualité/prix. Parking en supplément horrible (trop petit, impossible d'ouvrir ses portes sur certains emplacement...) Mal situé finalement vu son prix. Clim en panne et wifi dans les chambres marchant très très mal. Bref il y a de biens meilleurs hôtels à Barcelone que celui là...

Pas bien situé. Chambre et confort de la chambre classique à ce prix là mais personnel à l'accueil très désagréable avec des remarques à la limite du racisme en pensant que je ne comprenais pas l'espagnol. Climatisation en panne et wifi qui fonctionne un jour sur 3 dans les chambres. Enfin le summum, le parking à éviter à tout prix ! Aller à ARC LA RAMBLA et payer le parking DRASSANES moins cher pour 24h et vous serez bien mieux !

Rien à dire pour les chambres,on entends un peu la circulation coté rue.Personnel a l'écoute.Les visites peuvent se faire à pieds pour les bons marcheurs(Sagrada,New camp,parcs...)

God service hele døgnet rundt. Metrokort (virker også til bus) er efter min mening nødvendigt, da hotellets beliggenhed er ca. 3 km. fra centrum.

Jag är nöjd med vår vistelse på Viladomat, jag har bott bättre men också betydligt sämre. Fina rum, bekväma sängar, bra städat, fint och lagom stort badrum. Läget kan bli lite bättre, men ska man bo mer centralt kostar det mer. Det tog oss 20-25min att gå till La Rambla, vill man ha nära till stranden blir det dock lite långt att gå. Det finns ju metro men vi använde oss aldrig av den. Frukosten var ok, det som fanns var bra men lite dåligt utbud, dock ok för det relativt låga priset.

Huonointa oli tupakan haju joka tuli päivittäin aina välillä huoneeseen ilmastoinnin kautta. Muuten siisti hyvä hotelli.

buen hotel en general, limpio aunque la cama era un poco incomoda (sobre todo las almohadas). la ventana no ajustaba bien por lo que se oian a los vecinos que estuvieron una noche de fiesta....a pesar de esto y que el wifi fallaba mucho, un 7 al hotel

Das Hotel ist 5 Gehminuten vom Bahnhof Sants gelegen. Das Hotel ist nicht mehr das mordernste und hat auch schon einige Gebrauchsspuren an den Möbeln, aber es war wirklich sehr sehr sauber und auch das Frühstück und der Service war gut. Ich würde dieses Hotel wieder buchen. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut top.

Hotel conforme alle aspettative, senza infamie e senza lodi. Personale educato (sebbene le interazioni siano state minime), stanza abbastanza silenziosa ed in buone condizioni (in quel periodo si ridipingevano i corridoi). Bar e ristorante interni mai provati, ma a Barcelona si trova da mangiare ovunque. Wi-fi in camera e comoda postazione con stampante nella hall. Il quartiere è ottimo, non al centro, ma la distanza dalla metro è di circa 10 minuti a passo normale ed i taxi (per chi li volesse..e comunque economici) stazionano fissi davanti all'ingresso. Siamo rimasti una settimana e non abbiamo trovato nulla da ridire. Un buon 3 stelle.

Me pareció buena. Hubiera puntuado aún más alto la habitación, pero un fallo el primer día, se les olvidó hacer la habitación, y algunas manchas en las paredes y colchas de las camas me han impedido hacerlo. En general la estancia fue estupenda.

Fantástica, las horas que estuve todo fue perfecto
