This is an old run down hotel they are trying to pass off as "renovated". I would only recommend staying here if you get it for a really low rate. Otherwise there are so many hotels in this Vancouver area to choose from that this hotel is certainly not worth the rate we paid. Also, we asked for a wake up call and didn't receive it leaving us rushed to get out of there to catch a train.

I needed a place last minute, pet and kid friendly and under $200. Riviera hotel fit the bill. Staff was helpful. Place was a little disorganized but I'd stay there again.

Very good place. The only negative thing was that my room was close to Robson street and it was noisy at night.

This was the worst hotel experience that I've ever had. Extra charges for a crib, early check-in, baggage scale. W finally got into our room after 3 and went to put our kids to bed but the room wasn't clean yet and housekeeping was still working. At 9, we got a knock on the door from some people who were assigned to the same room; an apology call followed; then the manager called - unfortunately our kids were woken up by the continuous commotion. Once the rooms were worked out, the people next door started moving their luggage in - the walls were so thin that we were kept up until after 11. In the morning, I went out for coffee with one of the kids and when we returned i struggled with the front door while the hotel clerk just sat and watched. I will never stay there again.

Staff offered great suggestions for food. Rooms were big and spacious. Great location. The bathroom shower did not have water hot enough for a long shower. Toilet broke.

our stay was overall a good. The room is clean although could get a bit noisy at night. The bed was very comfortable. Overall worth the bang on the bucks.

They took down the drapes so now when the sun comes up the sun comes right into your room and wakes you up. We stayed early May and the sun came up around 5:15 waking me up. Who wants to wake up at five in the morning when you are on vacation??? Also, they are now charging for parking - they didn't before. I was surprised by this change. In addition, some of the hotel staff are completely clueless and have no idea what they are doing and take forever to get it done. You wait around forever and ever when you want to check in.

The hotel rooms are very nice. Comfortable, quite large with enough space. I had to book it due to the fact that I needed a place to stay along with a friend. Robson street is a great place to be, pretty close to most shops, cafes, pubs, etc. The only complain I will have is that the kitchen furniture was sticky and that the location can be a bit noisy in late night because there is a lot people transiting and traffic around that zone. Beds are quite spacious as well, though they are a bit old.

If staying for more than a few days, this hotel is a great value: the suites had a full kitchen, balcony and were very roomy. I totally recommend it if this is the area of choice.

The price for the hotel was awesome as well as the location, the only thing was the service was a bit slow in the evening. Suite didn't have more toilet paper, which wasn't good. I would still recommend this place for anyone to stay at but always make sure there is extra towels and toilet paper.

This hotel is within walking distance to almost everything. Great value for price. Our room was spacious, free wireless internet worked well, no downtime. Secure parking. It's an older building, but has been updated. The full kitchen was very convenient. We will definitely stay there again.

Friendly hotel. Renovated rooms with brand new furniture size. Some rooms are full apartment. I definitely recommend this hotel for both business and leisure trip to Vancouver.

It was good, has room 902 beautiful room, kitchen, dining room, living room seperate bedroom, an bathroom, great place to stay for a long period of time with a full dinette, amazing deck overlooking robson street, but my nieghbors were slamming doors late at night. other than that good, no pool or workout room but it was ok place to stay.

Nothing fancy but very clean and spacious room, friendly staff.

Located in a great neighbourhood in Vancouver. Tons of restaurants, shopping, pubs. Central. The hotel room was so BIG. Actually more like an apartment with a full kitchen, great view, balcony and separate bedroom. The staff was so helpful and friendly and professional.

Upon our arrival, there were 3 people behind the desk helping one person, we ended up waiting roughly 10 mins to be checked in. Once we finally were taken care of, the staff were attentive&had mentioned they had done renovations the week prior. The parking was free which also caught our attention when booking but sadly the parking garage was VERY small (roughly 10 cars max)&the old renovations rubbish was tossed in a giant pile in a few stalls. Gross. The elevator was VERY slow&only could carry 4 ppl. Once we got to our room we noticed that there was candy covered chocolate in our sofa&bed, blinds were dingy&had some dark stuff on it(mold stains perhaps),kitchen was dusty,floors were poorly swept&the tables werent cleaned well.Other than that the size of the room& the views were great.As mentioned earlier this hotel did renovations and very poorly to mention. The walls were painted over the old wallpaper&some parts were peeling. The room did not have a typical directory of the city(i.e: restaurants, sight seeing, etc.),hotel policies and features nor did we have what TV channels we receive.They also do not have bathrobes&down blankets/comforters as stated in the Amenities section. Pillows were on the lumpy side,the two thin sheets&thin blanket made it hard to sleep comfortably.Dont expect much,BYOBathrobe&Blankets. Wish we could have booked at Empire Landmark across the street where we could have expected a little more for the same price

The room had a bed room, a living room, and a kitchen separately. The cost was comparative with ordinary hotel room, thus it was very reasonable!

このお値段でメインストリートなのは本当にありがたいです。 お部屋も、日本人の感覚なら広い！と言った感じです。 クイーンベッド2つにキッチンもついていました。 シャワーは若干弱く、アメニティも必要最低限ですが、スタッフの方はみな優しくフレンドリーです。 また是非泊りたいと思います！
