Moevenpick Resort & Residences, Aqaba - עקבה

The staff was very nice and helpful. They upgraded me to a beautiful suite and soothed my nerves after a difficult trip to Petra. I had a truly WONDERFUL time at the Movenpick and very much wish I had spent more time there. The facilities are incredibly beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The staff is accomodating, polit, and helpful

The staff at this hotel made this trip. The service is incredible. The chefs in the Palm Court took the trouble to explain all of the foods available, the pride in their cooking was so evident. We were spoiled by the staff at the Red Sea Grill as we ate with fantastic views. We never go to the same place twice but may make the exception here! The levels of cleanliness were fantastic and the trip out on the glass boat included a BBQ on the boat-thats a 1st. Loved Jordan and loved the hotel.

This Hotel is just excellent! It does deserve the five stars it has. Cannot wait till we go back!

As family of 5, with teenagers we were all very happy with our stay here, comfortable, great facilities including gym, easy access to sheltered beach and pools - very friendly and helpful staff, we had an excellent stay

This Movenpick needs you to have a car and you like the beach. Easy access to Neptune boat that has a glass hull.

We stayed at both the Intercontinental and the Movenpick in Aqaba and this one was by far the better of the two. We were greeted with juice upon arrival, service was eerily fast when calling for something from the room. The facilities were immaculate and opulent. The grounds by the pool and the beach were lovely and quiet. The staff has the sense of warmth and hospitality that makes you feel like you belong and they also understand anticipating the little things - like noticing your pool towel is wet from a splash and replacing it without asking. Definitely made the Aqaba experience a delight!

Very good standard, very friendly service - can totally recommend it!

Excellent hotel, service, location with a resort atmosphere. If anything was needed, help was there in 5 minutes. The facilities, even the elevators, were beautiful designed with a luxury feel. I will stay at a Moevenpick hotel again, and again. January was a good time to visit Aqaba. Weather was sunny and shirt sleeve comfortable.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Heated pools which made a difference in December! Great breakfast. Good kids facitlites- playground, pool, kids club. We are already planing our return trip just for this hotel!

We enjoyed our stay at Movenpick. It was a very nice location and everything was as expected. Great Service as well as good food.

The Moevenpick in Aqaba is nice ... but that's about it. The private beach is very small, and due to its location on the Red Sea, your view consistently includes two to three barges and/or oil tankers. Not the most pleasant sight. Also, the housekeeping was not satisfactory - did not restock my coffee/tea, my towels or my complimentary water each morning. They barely even tidied the room. BUT - what saved the trip is the chance to use the facilities at the other Moevenpick in Tala Bay. About 20 minutes away, but amazingly beautiful and relaxing - exactly what a vacation on the Red Sea should be. I wholeheartedly recommend spending the extra money to stay there, unless you absolutely have to be in Aqaba for some reason. You will not be disappointed.

Hotel idéalement située, pas tout à fait le grand luxe 5 étoiles mais largement siffusant. Mention spéciale au petit dej très très copieux, la chambre correct avec qlq défauts, personnel très sympa et hospitalité locale garantie, seul point négatif le wifi payant dans les chambres (incompréhensible pour un hôtel 5 étoiles)

Great hotel,amazing service,friendly staff,couldnt get better!

goed hotel, met heerlijk zwembad en eigen strand. Personeel is gedienstig en vriendelijk. De taal blijft een probleem te weinig en slecht engels wat vooral storend is bij de roomservice, ontbijt en algemene vragen.

Mit bedste ophold på et hotel 5 stjerner har de fortjent, men det kunne blive endnu bedre hvis de næste gang havde en top-madras på seng, ved ikke om jeg selv er for godt vant, men forbedringer har man altid plads til :-)

Hotellin sijainti hyvä. Aamupala oli todella runsas ja palvelu pelasi hotellissa todella hyvin. Olimme varanneet standard-huoneen, mutta saimme 83 neliöisen sviittiin samaan hintaan.

Det var dejligt. Restauranten var dyr.

excellent hôtel situé idéalement au bord de la mer et à proximité du centre ville ; une piscine chauffée très agréable et un petit déjeuner gargantuesque de très bonne qualité ; personnel très attentif ; chambre spacieuse et très propre.

Gedateerd hotel. Straalt luxe uit maar is in zijn catering niet veel meer waard dan een upgrade van een gaarkeuken. Grote refters zonder enige vorm van privacy of sfeer. Koud, kil en onpersoonlijk. Vriendelijk personeel. Begrijp goede quotering niet zo. Zou beter scoren dan het zusterhotel in Tala Bay terwijl deze Moevenpick van een heel ander niveau is. Jammer dat we deze niet gekozen hebben!

Bästa tänkbara service, både vad det gäller rumsstädning, frukost och personalen i receptionen. Fint poolområde. Restaurangen är lite dyr jämfört med andra ställen i staden, men trevlig.

Ikke specielt imponeret

Sentralt beliggende og fint utgangspunkt for besøk i Petra og Wandi Rum.

Siisti hotelli, palvelut toimivat suhteellisen hyvin. Merenranta- alue oli hieman vanhanaikainen. Saunaosastolla oli ( miesten saunassa ) ummehtunut haju. Hyva ja monipiolinen aamupala. Janoisille oli tarjolla myos muita virvokkeita. Toiseen alueen Moevenpick hotelliin oli toimiva kuljetus. Oppaat olivat asiantuntevia ja ystavallisia. Pikalinjabussit esim. Ammaniin lahtivat aivan hotellin vieresta, suosittellaan muillekkin.

Tolles Hotel, super Service (eine Ausnahme in Jordanien), schöner Hotelstrand, Preis-Leistungsverhältnis super!
