Punthill Little Bourke - מלבורן

Only thing missing was a view!!

Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly, queen spa apartment was roomy and very quiet, especially given the busy location. The furniture, especially the bed and lounge, had seen better days, but all-in-all, a comfortable and very convenient place to stay, thank you.

Hotel is in a close location to most attractions, places to eat, supermarket, shops and Her Majesty Thearter around the corner.THe room was small but comfortable. Three things need improvement, 1. For eating purposes there needs to be a table and two chairs. (do away with the coffee table and seatee) 2. The full length miror is on the wrong side of the cuboard. 3. The glass section for thw bath shower needs to be doubled in length to stop the water going allover the floor. Good value for money.

Although i wasn't impressed with the smell of smoke on entering the room, everything else was perfect. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was so comfortable!!! Staff were friendly and helpful

Punthill on Little Bourke Street is a great location in Melbourne, walking distance to all main areas and sporting events. The Hotel is very clean, quiet and well equipped. The staff are Friendly and helpful, we will definitely look for this Hotel's availability when visiting Melbourne again.

We had a comfortable stay in a one bedroom apartment. It is a central location allowing easy access to live theatre, the Museum, city centre and restaurants. The apartment was very quiet and clean and well appointmed. the only down side was the very tired mattresses that were more of a u shape from use. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful.

Very comfortable and convenient location. However we were on the third floor and were disturbed every night by bottles being loaded in rubbish trucks and drunks nearby in the streets near the hotel. Next time will ask for a room higher up.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. It was comfortable, clean and quiet and in a convenient location to walk to the main shopping and restaurant areas of Melbourne CBD. It was also close to public transport and within nice walking distance of Federation Square, Southbank etc.

You can't stay closer to the centre! Surrounded by restaurants, it is bang in the middle of the Chines Quarter, shops, river area, theatres, National Galleries all a short walk. A good 3 star accommodation, good size studio flat with washing machine. The cleaning could have been a little more fastidious but all was acceptable. Booking an airport pick-up on departure proved a little taxing for the reception person but in the end it worked out. On the whole a good value accommodation.

While the location and front-of-house was good, I found the condition of some hardware below standard. The mounting rail for the shower head was very loose & appeared as though it could detach from the wall at any moment. Also, the handle of the mixer tap in the kitchenette was very loose (this was reported to the front desk upon our departure). We found that the bed making was only cursory and on two occasions we had to smooth out the under sheet. It was thought that there should have been an extra dining chair so that 2 people could sit at the table for meals. Finally, the sofa seemed to be facing in the wrong direction; the only arm would have been better at the other end of the sofa. After the above experience, I would only rate the accommodation we were provided at 3 to 3 1/2 stars.

Too short...

Had some issues with the room - we booked a queen but were given a double. Had to insist on getting the queen as my husband is very tall and the double would have been uncomfortable for him. It was a bit noisy at night an the room had a peculiar smell.

Our apartment was well set up for a 4 night stay. The small kitchen had everything we needed for making breakfast or making a snack in the evening.Though we were in the middle of China Town it was very quiet. Highly recommend for a city stopover.

Great location within reach of most places of interest, restaurants and transport links. Excellent facilities in well appointed rooms

Loved our stay close to everything, especially great food, could walk to MCG, Victoria Markets. Rooms were nice, staff were very helpful.

The hotel is in an excellent location, staff were friendly and helpful. Surrounded by great places to eat. Walking distance to MCG, Victoria Markets, Federation Square and Theater. We will be staying again.

The location is fine,the room facilities are adequate but the queen bed we had was the most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept in.When we complained about it we were going to be moved to another room but then it was decided to replace the bed.IF it was replaced it made no difference.So a wonderful 10 day stay turned into an average experience & doubtful if we will use Punthill hotels in the future.

Its valuable hotel. Good location. Clean room. But washing machine doesn’t work, manual is crap and staff doesn’t know how to use... That was one disappointed point.

We spent four nights at this hotel and were thoroughly satisfied. The location was great and the apartment itself was roomy and very well apportioned. The kitchen has all the facilities you would require for a short-term stay and there is a combination washing machine-dryer in the bathroom. Overall we were very impressed and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in the vibrant Chinatown district of Melbourne city.

Great location. Good amenities. Only issue - it was impossible to open windows as we were right next door to very very noisy airconditioner from adjacent building. The airconditioner in room was also very noisy and not terribly effective - I would not like to be in that room in summer heat!

Fantastic location for short visit to Melbourne. Close to the main shopping areas in the city as well as various tram stops. We stayed in a studio room and thought the size of the rooms were quite big.

The Punthill Bourke has much to recommend it and little that doesn't. We had a spacious, clean, and altogether useful apartment--the one-bedroom "Spa" apartment--which provided a separate sleeping area with ample closet space, a usable kitchen with 2 burners, a convection oven, pots and pans and plenty of dinnerware, and a living-room area with a desk and coffee table. The only thing missing was a table to eat on (apart from the coffee table) but since we had little reason to eat in (apart from breakfast), there was not much to complain about. The Bourke is in the midst of Melbourne's Chinatown, which is lively (though not especially noisy) and filled with good restaurants. In fact, there are great restaurants all over Melbourne's downtown. All in all, an excellent deal.

Great location in the middle of Chinatown and the Mebourne CBD - if it's not a short walk to where you want to go, it's probably a short tram ride away. I had a standard room and my folks had a one bedroom apartment and both were comfortable and spacious with a great little kitchenette. Staff are helpful and friendly.

Located in the heart of China Town, which is locaed close to everything. Great opportunity to eat all types of good Asian food. Great staff and friendly service. We enjoyed our stay very much. Not fancy, but good and confortable.

The studio was ok but looked out over the back alleys and roofs and there was continual noise from fans and ducts on surrounding properties. The receptionist was very helpful and offered other rooms but their aspects were even worse! The best thing about it was the ease of getting to and from Melbourne Park for the concerts at the Rod Laver Arena.

Friendly staff. Nice venue. Convenient location. Would recommend to others and would definitely stay again. A little bit noisy at night from party-goers outside on the streets but otherwise we had a really good stay.

Cool place to stay with all the facilities and comforts...centrally located,.. connecting various sight seeing place at ease...Walkable distance from findlers street and station...

Walking distance to centre of town, transport, dairy pub hair salons medical centre chemist. Most importantly the Service and Friendliness at Reception Counter was excellent. A Dining Room to the side of the Hotel entry provided take-away meals which Reception delivered to my Studio Door. I was well cared and catered for and the Studio Unit was modern afordable and very well equipped for a very comfortable stay.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Punt Hill Hotel. We found the staff very helpful and informative regarding sight seeing and transport. The room was very spacious and contained all the necessaries. The only point I would raise is there was no hand rail in the bathroom to help access the spa bath.

Clean, well appointed 1 bedroom unit with a bedroom that could be closed in at night with two sliding doors which blocked out the noise that was audible during the day from roof air conditioning units. No street noise as hotel in Chinatown opposite the museum and behind a theatre. Lap pool and gym for guests use and chinese restaurant through lobby door. Would stay there again. Only problem was we had trouble finding it initially- our GPS got very confused with the tiny lanes.

it was in the heart of china town and was very loud... so if you dont mind hearing a bit of outside noise then its ok. but if you are planning a long stay i wouldnt considering staying here, as the noise on weekend was alot and very clear to hear

Lovely apartment. Excellent location - within 30 sec walk of many eating places in China town. Very quiet also - off the main thoroughfare of Little Bourke Street. Good kitchen and laundry. Quick walk to Elizabeth or Swanston Street Tram lines. Several Shopping centres within walking distance. Will stay here again!

对于华人旅行者来说，很适合住这里，有吃的~热闹~~其他地方7点以后就都木有人了~~~~

キッチネットが付いており、近所のスーパーで買った肉を自分で焼いて食べたがとても美味しかった。オーストラリアでは、私が行くような安いレストランのステーキは大体において硬い。スーパーで薄い目の肉を選び正解でした。焼く時使ったバターは機内食に付いていたもの。

sehr zentral, mitten in Chinatown und alles zu Fuß zu erreichen, gerne wieder

L'appartement devait avoir 1 sèche linge, il n'y était pas, les 2 fenetres donnait sur 1 mur à 1m. La cuisine était réduite à sa plus simple expression, il manquait beaucoup de chose. Pas de rayonnage pour ranger nos affaires que de la penderie. Point positif, le personnel était aux petits soins.
