Pleasant stay. Convenient to most places. Safe environment

It was OK. Since I was attending a conference there it couldn't have been more convenient. It was clean and cheaper than most of the other hotels I looked at. But the "restaurant" on site was pretty pathetic but expensive. With as sketchy as the neighborhood is around there they know they have a captive audience unless you want to drive somewhere. If you are at a conference at Kellogg by all means it's worth it. Not otherwise.

The place isn't anything to write home about, but it isn't the worst either so...

My stay was just fine. We came inn for the Avon walk for breast cancer. We (3 couples) chose this hotel for convenience of dining but found the dining room never opened on a FRIDAY night. Very disappointing! There were other couples here for a Baseball tournament and found themselves having to order out as well.

Got great sleep at night, quiet and comfortable. Continental breakfast was tasty too.

Hotel was fine. However, the location is in a blighted area (Outside the college grounds). A suggestion to the hotel would be to provide directions and maps of area eateries and shopping areas. Since we were part of a group of parents attending a college sporting function, many of us had no clue of where to go to eat or shop.

Great location and Gallaudet University Shuttle Service to Union Station makes this location ideal to connect to transit, tour buses, etc. so you don't need a car.

The Hotel was located 1 mile from Union Station. The hotel provided shuttle service to and from union station which ran every 20 minutes. From there we were able to walk to all the major documents and take tours from union station. The hotel is located in the perfect area if you want to see DC. Over all we were pleased with everything,

The front desk was very slow and kinda rude.

A very nice and modern hotel, with an excellent shuttle service that takes you right to Union Station. Definitely the best value of any hotel in Washington.

It is a very nice hotel, very beautiful there, I would like to stay there again if I will be there again.

I stayed at this hotel when I came to D.C. for a conference. My room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. The shuttle from the hotel to union station was very convenient. Also, the continental breakfast had several options and was reasonably priced compared to other D.C. options. Overall, great stay and would recommend to anyone.

Went for a romantic weekend getaway in DC. Room was clean, quiet and well stocked. Beds were comfortable. Being in the historic setting of Gallaudet University was a plus and we enjoyed the beautiful campus with its diverse student body.

The hotel is on a beautiful University campus and the environment is exceptional. Staff was attentive to guests and resolved any issues our large group faced. The breakfast is great and the free shuttle to Union Station metro makes this a great place to see the DC sites. I would highly recomend this hotel.

located on the campus of a college that has been there for over 120 years, the college itself is place to see when considering DC. Ad to that the fact that the hotel was what I would consider 4 star, clean, quiet, comfortable and reasonable and that should be enough. Include the every 30 minutes of scheduled shuttle buses to and from the metra and this made any part of DC a 15 minute trip. The college is steeped in history and great architecture as well. It was half the cost of the big name downtown hotels and was available at the last minute. It sits on a gated campus within viewable distance of the capital building. The staff is over the top friendly and helpful.

I chose this place because it was the least expensive place I could find with the highest rating and it did not disappoint. The hotel is very nice and modern, the rooms are very clean and cozy. I would stay here again in a heartbeat if the price remains the same.

Hotel, overall was nice, but getting to and from it was a total pain in the ***. Evidently, the school campus is in a bad part of town so it's completely fenced off around the whole perimeter with only one entry point. We figured that out the hard way... On foot. Once you get in, then the hotel itself is like another 1/2 mile to the other side of campus so very frustrating when you are walking.

This hotel is lovely place and very good food. But dining hall Was not good food. But this hotel is lovely and wow it is first time we went to that hotel. Wow. And get to see u.s. capital and monument too

Our stay was excellent, We had a medical issue and one of the staff (Lawrence) was on that evening and personally guided us to the hospital. We are forever grateful to him , Once again a great stay and Thank You

Love this hotel. Got a great price for stay so that made it even better. Complimentary Shuttle service to sites was invaluable! We didn't have to take metro or anything to get to National Mall. They dropped us off and picked us up! Great proximity to sites. Wish we could have stayed longer than one night. Would definitely try to stay there again when we go back to DC. Service was courteous and friendly. Free Breakfast would have been the icing on the cake!

Walk from NOMA station is sketchy at night, but OK in day. Shuttle is convenient and nice. Room was a little crowded with two beds and desk, but fine for family gone touring all day.

It was okay but we were in a questionable neighborhood protected by the college campus. When the campus closed at night we had to walk an extra couple of blocks to get inside the grounds. The cost was a little high and the included Continental breakfast did not include the "Hot American Breakfast Buffet" that was being served at the same time.

Hotel Was Very Clean And The Service Was Excellent. AlthoughThe Rooms Were EXtremely Small, They Were Clean And Comfortable. Wonderful Place To Lay Your Head!!!

Excellent hotel, the shuttle to Union station made it comfortable. I recomend it.

We were looking for a last-minute place to stay when most everything else was well over $500/night. We were very pleased with the rooms and the service at this hotel. Only used the shuttle to/from the metro couple times, and it was very prompt. The area around the university is a bit questionable for walking late at night, so if we hadn't had a car (which we usually don't have in DC), we would have relied on taxi or the shuttle to/from metro. We didn't spend a lot of time here - arrived late both nights and left pretty early both mornings. But everything was great.

Staff were very friendly, especially Stephanie at reception desk.Room was clean , sink in bathroom was cracked but did not bother us for 1 night stay. The pillow was not comfortable.Lawrence the shuttlebus driver was very friendly and helpful.Location was excellent as we were visiting family member at gallaudet university.

Nice place to stay... convenient bike share located on campus and free shuttle service!

Most important to me is cleanliness, quiet, and comfortable beds. It met all three. The staff was nice, being on a campus we didn't hear any traffic noise.

The shuttle to union station was a real life saver. Staff was great. Would def stay here again.

For being almost in the middle of DC this was a very quiet and relaxing hotel. Parking is reasonable and free if your able to get the package through Hotel.com and free breakfast. The staff is very helpful and the free shuttle is a big plus, I never had to drive the three days we were there.

it was a good stay ..but i5 wud have been betta if they didn't have a $50 policy

I enjoyed my stay tremendously because the event that I was attending was on the Gallaudet campus. My hotel room did not have a refrigerator. Otherwise, everything else met or exceeded my expectations. I would stay there again and I would recommend it to my family and friends. Also, this location is a well kept secret to walk or shuttle to places close to the capital. You can shuttle to the train/bus station.

The hotel was excellent, the service was spectacular, the campus was beautiful and the dining was exquisite. I will definitely stay at the Kellogg Conference Hotel at Gallaudet University again. My family really enjoyed their short stay.
