No front desk so not good from the start. Rooms are decent, but very small, only a foam mattress for a bed, see through bathroom door that is only for show because you can hear everything inside. Not conveniently located, takes many subway transfers to get to main tourist sites.

The room is too small, instead of mattresses on the floor, there should be two single beds with mattresses.

To start, the staff were friendly.and helpful, hotel was clean and location was great, close to metro and bastille. But the room was a joke, tiny room, with our shower and toilet in the room, the shower only had frosted glass and thethe toilet was a made of wee bits of wood.and glass and was open at the top so any smell from the shower and toilet wafted around the room. It made our stay at the hotel very awkward. The bed took up the whole floor, had to walk on it to get to the window or seating area and when.you managed it you were so squashed that you shouldn't have bothered. Endow our bags got wet from the door of the shower dripping on the floor and i almost slipped on a bit of wet patches the floors were vinyl type. Too much designer element and not enough practical elements like one basic need...a wee bit of privacy...especially if you and your fellow traveller do not want to witness each others every mover

The bed is horrible. Nits just a mattress on the floor, so if you're older than 30 I wouldn't recommend it here. Room is extremely tiny along with the bathroom. The hotel is right around the corner from a strip of bars but far away from shopping district and all the great views of the city. I will not be staying here again.

Great but bit tricky using computerused check-in. And checking out didn't understand €4 extra? having thought I had paid in full & no one about to ask...shame as otherwise fab my teenage daughter loved it! it was fun :)

After reading all the reviews I had set myself up for a matchbox sized room, so I actually found the room quite fine. It is small, but I knew that before booking. The breakfast was great, the rooms very clean. I just had one problem that didn't get sorted during my stay - the shower leaked quite badly I.e. all over my room floor and out the door. I let the man at reception know and he just said ok and that was it! Hopefully fixed before the next people come in!

This place is great if you know what you're getting into. It's ultra-modern, very recently renovated, and very clean. The rooms don't have much in the way of comfort space (and the bed area is right on the floor). Privacy within the room could be an issue. Very quiet premises, and an absolutely charming, non-touristy neighborhood brimming with cafes and restaurants. Convenient to multiple metro stops. Breakfast was OK, on the small side.

The hotel itself is quite unique. I actually liked it a lot. I stayed in a mini cabane. The only real problem I had was that there is no sitting area. When I got on my laptop, I basically piled on the pillow against the wall and used my laptop in that fashion which eventually started to hurt my neck a little. At one point the elevator was broken for a day which was really annoying when i had to go up and down 5 flights of stairs quite a few times a day. I cant imagine if you had a big suitcase to carry.. but they did fix the elevator the next day. The elevator is super tiny. It can fit two people very uncomfortably. The breakfast was great. The neighborhood is great. I felt as if i was a local living there. It was away from touristy paris which was a nice change but conveniently located between two subway stops. I would definitely stay again but this time i would get the bigger room for sure.

We stayed at the Hotel Hi Matic for 3 nights and were extremely satisfied. We got there before the check-in time and they held our bags for us. They use a self check-in/check-out so everything is quick. The rooms may be a bit small, but they are super clean and very cool looking. Every time I go back to Paris I will be staying here!

Hotel Hi-Matic was nice place to stay, The room was small yet cozy. Breakfast in the morning was a nice touch, and they have free tea and coffee until 6 pm. It is about a 10 minute walk from the Bastille metro, which isn't a bad walk. The staff was very appeasing. Overall, it isn't the best hotel you'll ever stay at, but it is certainly worth the price.

The Hi-Matic works best if Eco and Green, the name Matali Crasset and the idea of the Paris beyond the tourist brochure means something to you. Yes, the rooms are very small but they are oddly beautiful and super-clean. Yes, there is no traditional fawning front desk service but if you love privacy then this is not a problem. The Hi-Matic worked for me because the Bastille location was brilliantly convenient and for a few days I really felt like I was "living " in Paris. Not recommended for first time visitors to the city and not the best choice for the conventionally minded. I kinda love the reverse snobbery of this !

Mini Cabanes have no real bed, just a mattress on a plasticized foam baseboard on the floor. Shower is inches away from your mattress, no writing area, no sitting area, showers have no place for you to put your soap or shampoo. BUT, it's clean and the location is great, the neighborhood very lively with wonderful ethnic restaurants all around. Breakfast is included and it's very good (not eggs though).Very convenient to the Metro....it ain't cheap but Paris ain't either. Not recommended for anyone over 6 ft. or weighing over 175 lbs. You'll be strapped for space!

The hotel hi-magic is a self check, self serve mini hotel with very small rooms. The mini cabana is basically a mattress that covers almost the entire floor space of the room. The shower is right in your room as is the wash basin. If you weigh more than 175 lns and are over 6 ft tall you'll have a hard time in the shower. The room had a safe but placed way high that you'll need a ladder to get to it. There was hardly any place to place your luggage nor a desk to write or a real chair in the room.but breakfast which was inclded was very good and the usual solitary caretaker very helpful and friendly. If you're not planning to stay in your room, it's a great little place to crash, it'll force you to go out. Hotel is located in a working class neighborhood with great little ethnic restaurants nearby, very safe and charming. Though not terribly comfortable I would recommend it; think of being back in kindergarten with similar decor & furniture.

It is located near Charonne Station (line 9). It takes about 5 mins walk from the metro to hotel. Friendly staff. Most of them will communicate with you in French(of course, you are in France). I liked my stay in this hotel, but the room is extremely small. You don't have space to walk around your room (at all). I booked the mini cabin. So I'd say if you want more space, you should book other type of room. Bed sheets are really clean but room is a bit dusty. I think some windows do not open that's why. Breakfast is very simple. Bread,Jam, butter banana, tea, fruit juice, yogurt, water and other drinks like coffee and hot chocolate. I liked it because it seems very healthy. Overall I'd give 4 out of 5.

The room was clean. The location was excellent: lively and conveinient. The breakfast was very good and generous. The room was quiet. The disadvantages were that the room was very small. There were no curtains on the windows. The door to the toilet was transparent. There was no telephone or intercom to the reception person at the desk. The good out weighs the bad, so I would recommend this hotel, - certainly for short stays it is very conveinient.

A unique and colorful hotel. Self checking in and out system. Eco-friendly hotel, Organic breakfast and modern design. About 8 minutes walk to train station, Charonne, not on very convenient line. Not friendly if travelling with heavy lugguages or backpacks. lifts can only fit two standing person with minimal luggage of backpack, corridors are really narrow. The concept is pretty bold, minimal facilities, no fancy hotel sort of services, bathroom is not private, person sharing same room will be able to watch you bath. Toilet is in room with insufficient ventilation, so must pick a good time to poo... room so small you can't poo in private. Have to step over bed to reach bathroom. Its a very modern and pretty hotel but rooms are really small,

Des chambres petites mais très fonctionnelles - des nuits très calmes malgré une rue très animée - un très bon rapport qualité prix

Très bon emplacement dans le quartier de la Bastille - animé et sûr même tard le soir. Beaucoup de restaurants dans le quartier, un petit supermarché juste en face, boulangerie à côté, métro et bus à 2 pas. La chambre bien que petite (surtout les wc) est originale et fonctionnelle. Très propre et très bon état. Un peu mal au dos à cause du matelas pourtant à mémoire de forme. Le petit déj fourni est très bon et copieux car pain et boissons chaudes à volonté. En bref, c'est l'hôtel que je choisirai lorsque je retournerai sur Paris. Très bonne expérience.

Très calme, concept innovant, petit déjeuner sympa, accueil chaleureux. Il y avait quelques cheveux dans le lavabo à mon arrivée. Le "sous" mattelas prenant toute la largeur de la chambre il est nécessaire de se déchausser pour la traverser. Impossible d'ouvrir les fenêtres qui sotn condamnées. Chambre très petite. Néanmoins intéressant au tarif promo (j'ai payé 85€) mais le plein tarif est sur-évalué par rapport à ce que l'on peut trouver sur Paris (Ibis...)

Très bon accueil et simplicité originale, on se sent bien immédiatement. Tout petit bémol, la télévision au ras des pieds du lit et quelques petites imperfections propreté dans la douche ... Rien de grave ! L'esprit cabane ludique détend et permet de retomber dans les plaisirs de l'enfance.Le petit déjeuner bio, c'est top avec un accueil chaleureux dès le matin, ça compte. Une expérience nouvelle à recommencer sans aucun doute.

一切自助的酒店，checkincheckout全部自助。正因为如此，checkout时我信用卡似乎被多刷了，回去我还要发email问一下确定，大概是机器的问题。房间真心很小，但是两个人睡觉洗澡还是没问题的，没有洗漱用具，不过在优惠时定的含早餐真是很不错，巴黎的餐点不便宜，我们出去玩至少早上吃的很饱还有水果，这很必要。出门走不到五分钟是地铁9号线Charonne站，坐上地铁换乘都很方便，我们从机场过去，先做机场进市区的线再换地铁，蛮快的。

Un hotel original, trés propre, silencieux, personnel accueillant et serviable, excellent petit déjeuner, bon quartier. A recommander +++

Nous avons séjourne 2 nuits a l'hôtel, nous avons passé un très bon moment. Chambre "cabane" très rigolote, il manquerait juste un placard pour ranger quelques affaires... Très bon accueil de la part du personnel, pas de bruit dans l'hôtel, petit déjeuner entièrement bio très agréable. Très bon séjour.

hôtel original rien à dire là dessus ! Les chambres sont petites il ne faut pas craindre ! Les matelas des lits sont posés sur un autre matelas qui lui même est posé sur le sol. Attention donc aux personnes ayant des problèmes de dos !!! La TV est à hauteur des matelas (hauteur du sol). Point très sympa la station Ipod mis à dispo dans les chambres, qui vous permettent d'écouter votre musique ! Le petit déjeuner est totalement bio, il faut donc aimer les fruits, les barres de céréales, et les yahourts bio, oubliez les croissants et pains au chocolat. Pour conclure, je pense que pour apprécier cet hôtel il faut avoir garder son esprit d'enfance et passer peu de nuit dans cet hôtel sinon garde au mal de dos. Le concept est sympa et original !

Parasta tässä hotellissa oli ehdottomasti sijainti. Aamiainen oli parempi kuin odotin (sämpylää, jogurttia, kahviautomaatti, teetä, hedelmiä) ja kaikki luomua. Kaikki oli erittäin siistiä, ja vaikka normaalia receptionia ei ollut, sai tarvittaessa apua hyvinkin nopeasti kutsunappia painamalla. Wlan toimi muualla hotellissa, mutta huoneemme oli ilmeisesti jossain katvealueessa, sillä netti katkesi ovellamme. Huone oli hiljainen, naapureista emme kuulleet mitään, ainoastaan kadulta kantautuva meteli kuului sisään mutta ei häirinnyt. Huoneeseen tottuminen vei aikansa, ja alkujärkytys kesti muutaman päivän. Erillistä vessa- ja/tai suihkuhuonetta ei meidän huoneessamme ollut, vaan ne kumpikin olivat samassa tilassa kuin missä nukutaan. Pönttö sentään oli kevyillä (läpinäkyvillä ja alhaalta ja ylhäältä avoimilla) muovisermeillä erotettu omaksi nurkakseen, mutta ei tuntunut kovinkaan yksityiseltä. Suihkukoppi oli lavuaarin vieressä huoneen nurkassa, kirkkaissa laseissa oli onneksi sumennettu alaosa, tosin näin pitkällä ihmisellä se nippa nappa peitti jalat, ja kaikki siitä ylöspäin oli kirkkaasti nähtävillä. Eli riippuu matkaseuralaisten suhteesta ja yksityisyydentarpeesta, toimiiko järjestely vai ei. Lisäksi huoneen sisustus oli muutenkin erikoinen mutta toimiva, mutta huone oli pieni (kun kaksi matkalaukkua oli levitettyinä lattialle, ei lattiaa jäänyt paljoakaan näkyville ja huoneessa liikkuminen oli välillä hankalaa). En suosittelisi äidilleni, mutta ystävilleni kyllä.

박람회 참여하려고 파리의 교통좋은곳으로 호텔을 찾던 중 하이매틱 호텔을 알게되었다. 생각했던 위치는 아니었지만 디자이너 마탈리 크라세가 작업했다는것만으로 바로 예약을 했다. 위치는 지하철 역에서는 조금 떨어져있지만 호텔의 컨셉이 너무 마음에 들었고 깔끔한 인테리어가 머무는 내내 기분을 좋게 해줬다. 엘리베이터가 있어서 짐을 옮기기가 쉬웠으며 공항에 일찍가야해서 일찍 체크아웃 해야하는 사람들을 배려한 새벽 5시반부터 가능한 아침식사는 모두 유기농으로 준비되어있었고, 오후 6시 이전엔 커피와 차가 무료로 제공되었다. 컵라면을 가져갔었는데 뜨거운물도 사용할 수 있었다. 호텔앞에는 밤 10시까지 하는 슈퍼마켓이 있고 근처에는 밤늦게까지하는 케밥집이 있어 자주이용했다. 가끔 마주하게 된 스탭들 모두 친절했다. 매우 만족한 호텔이며 파리에 다시 출장을 가게되면 또다시 머무를 계획이다.

Var et rigtig fint ophold med rigtig mange rigtig gode ting ved hotellet (rigtig god beliggenhed, lækker morgenmad, rent osv). Dog synes jeg, at der bør gøres opmærksom på at toilet- og badefaciliteterne inden reservationen (det var to "båse" der var i hotelværelset -begge åbne for oven). Jeg synes, at dette trækker en del ned i den samlede vurdering, som ellers ville have været helt perfekt!

Hôtel très agréable. Les Mini cabanes ne sont pas très grandes mais tout y est impeccablement ajusté.

hotel original situé dans un bon quartier très proche du centre touristique. Espace restreint dans les chambre. Excellent petit déjeuner.

Personnel attentif et tres disponible arrivee tardive avec accueil personnalise. Ambiance tres specifique .

Pas très agréable, pour un long séjour (plus d'un mois) l'accueil agréable de début de séjour s'essoufflait, la connection internet inexistante, nous avons été obligé d'annuler la fin de la réservation pour ces raisons. De plus aucune table pour y poser un ordinateur et donc travailler (de toutes façons pas d'internet dans les chambres) : Conclusion en aucun cas un hôtel pour y faire séjourner des collaborateurs. A réserver pour des jeunes qui aiment le côté camping, le fûton, etc...

Concept original, des chambres pas très grandes mais ce n'est pas ce qu'on recherche dans cet hôtel. Cela vaut le détour si vous avez l'impression que tous les hôtels se ressemblent. Le petit dej bio de qualité est très bon. Je reviendrai.

Une très petite chambre, mais parfaite pour une nuit, intelligement amménagée. Vraiment à recommander... Et le petit déjeuner buffet bio est excellent...
