Clean motel/room! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. No reason not to stay here!

Free breakfast was you get what you pay for,it was just a room nothing special.The tv in the room looked like a hd tv without a hd signal.Hotel was quite and front desk people were average,not friendly or unfriendly.

I was kind of skeptical at first because I read some reviews and there were many dislikes about the hotel. But when we stayed there over the weekend we had a very good time. Room was perfect for us, staff were helpful and friendly, breakfast was awesome, and we enjoyed every bits of our stay!

Overall very good and I am impressed that they provided a loaner DVD player for free. The mattresses could use replacing since they caused discomfort for both my wife and I. As well, the pillows are too soft and should be larger and firmer.

Pleasant

Right as you come into Seaside hotel is easy to find. Passes were provided to use the Municipal pool facilities which are extremely nice: spa; warm pool; lap pool; slide; rope swing. Great facility for the city of Seaside. Nice, clean; quiet hotel and a pleasant stay. Easy access to public beach within walking distance.

We were told apon booking that we could change credit cards ( VISA TO AMERICAN EXPRESS) upon arrival but were told by manager that we could not. Also requested a handicapped room at booking but hotel desk knew nothing about our request. They did have a handicapped room though

Hotel was in a good location for a good price. Rooms are pretty small but functional. Staff was friendly. Will stay there again when I need a budget friendly hotel in Seaside.

The desk clerk Cyle was very pleasant as well as very helpful in regards to good places to eat. (Pig and Pancake was the best value and food in the area) The rooms were very clean and beds really comfortable! Felt like sleeping on a cloud and had a great pillows including a round knee pillow. Felt like a higher end hotel got a great deal on it and was a great change from the normal hotels that are within our budget. I would love to stay in this type of hotel more often for sure!

Overall good stay.

The hotel offers a place to land at night for a good night's sleep - and yes, the bed is comfortable. However, the room was tiny with barely enough space for two to maneuver. The television was old-style and did not have a good picture. The room was noisy from pipes, presumably because of others' heat or water use.

Everything was pretty good (for the price) except that the heater in the room and refrigerator were extremely noisy. The pillows were pretty bad, too.

You will not have any trouble finding this place because it is literally the first thing you see as you are rolling into town from 101. (Right hand side of street, assuming you took Hwy 26 from Portland.) The beds were super comfortable with nice crisp whitel linens and comforter encased in fresh white sheets. (No icky, tired looking blankets here.) The breakfast was much more extensive than I thought it would be. Coffee and tea and juice are available all day, which is a nice amenity. Small coffee maker in the room too. The staff was friendly and helpful. It exceeded my expectation and I therefore am giving it 5's for the rating.

The facility was clean and comfortable but understaffed. They need to have someone available to address noise complaints in person rather than by a phone call from the front desk. We were kept awake until midnight by noise above us and partying in the room next door and the hall outside our room.

The hotel was easy to find and check-in was hassle-free. The bed was great, the room was clean, and the free breakfast in the AM was much appreciated and very tasty. Fun to make our own waffles! A good location for those with a car - it's a longer walking distance for those wanting to spend most of their time downtown.

Very convenient, great value, nicely appointed room. Very nice breakfast amenity. Only quibble: no bedside lamp. Room lighting a bit harsh. Other than that, wonderful overnight. Thank you!

Excellent place to stay for convience to things and points of interest. After all you're not booking a stay at the hotel to be totally engrossed in the hotel but more as a place to unwind and relax in comfort after your day or evening activities. With that in mind this was a perfect place. Only thing to make it a five star would be if it had a fitness room/hot tub.Thank you.

skip the breakfast. it is worth what it costs

The rooms were nice and clean, the overall hotel is somewhat dated, but overall, for the rates, it was a satisfactory hotel.

Even though we were a bit away (maybe a mile) from the downtown core we were fully satisfied with your stay here. The room was a good fit for us. Having breakfast in the hotel was great! The staff was incredibly helpful -- got a great recommendation for a dinner spot, was told that for a pool we could get a pass to the local aquatic center, and, overall, they were very kind and served with a smile. We will certainly return to this hotel!

Horrible........It was the off season. 75% of the motel was empty, but thet packed us in like sardines on the third floor. At 11 PM a school bus arrived with screaming teens and the staff packed them in right next to us.....They screamed all night......Most unthoughtfull.

this was a budget weekend getaway and Seaside was the 1st leg of our weekend. I honestly can say I wish we would have stayed both days at this location. The woman at the counter was nice enough and the room was a little small but everything was clean and they offered fruit, coffee, tea and juice at night. This was great because we still had not had dinner (nice touch)

Easy check-in, staff is friendly, rooms clean. Great place to stay!!!

The carpet in the halls did not look clean and there was an odor when we entered the room that did go away after we opened the window. The air conditioner did not work very well and we were intermittently warm and then cold. We chose this hotel mainly so we could watch ESPN and the game that night and most of the other hotels did not have it available.

It was a great stay..The room was very clean and it was just perfect.

A lot better then expected for the price! Breakfast was sub-par, but you get what you pay for!

The room was very clean and decorated nicely. The staff was friendly and helpful. Wish there was a fridge in each room for the price, but they gladly made room in the hotel fridge for our things. I love the location, as it is right at the edge of town. Not too crowded but just a minute away from the hussle and bussle. Also, just a minute drive down to beach access.

It was a nice place to stay and if I was to go back that way I would stay at Guest House again. The room was roomy and the breakfast was OK!

When we go back to Seaside for a Bridge tournament we would stay at the Guesthouse again. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. I do wish they had a small refridgerator in the room.

The room, although fairly small, was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and professional.

the rooms can be more spaceing and tv should be updated to flat screen. The room can also use coffe tables in front of sofa.

It was spartan as one might have guessed from the price. Room only had one chair. Breakfast a minimal continental. Over a mile from downtown so it meant driving to all location for shopping, dining or strolling.

I'd stay there again, great for dog owners - good set up - great staff.

We travelled to Seaside to attend a family wedding in Cannon Beach. The hotel was clean, comfortable, very accomodating to our needs. Location-wise, it was within walking distance to the beach (which I did one morning), and only a short drive into town or to Cannon Beach. The only negative comment I can make is that the coffee in the breakfast area was not very good...The price was right and the room was great!
