Kids pool was excellent for our small kids. We enjoyed our stay very much. Will defiantly stay there again

People are friendly. Hotel is old but room was clean. Bed needs replacing.

Our stay was comfortable. I did not use the bathtub as there was a ring around it. A definate indication that it had not been scrubbed out thoroughly.There were also several black hairs in the bed that I slept in and the sheets were very wrinkled. I had an uneasy feeling that the sheets had not been changed.The front desk staff were very nice and they recommended a lovely Italian restaurant down the road that was excellent. Close to many restaurants and shopping.

We appreciated the continental breakfasts. Your pool and exercise rooms were well used and made our stay a pleasure. Unfortunately, the bathroom was close to non-functional as the choice to place the toilet opposite the sink left no room to stand.

Bathroom was a little small for our liking but hotel was quiet even with a full house. Staff were friendly, efficient and prompt when needed. Great access to major routes so getting around town was easy. Lots of food and shopping options close by. Would consider staying there again.

we had a lovely time...the young man at reception was super friendly and helpful the room was clean ..even the stair wells were clean !! the swimming faclity was great !! all in all although a bit older hotel it was done in the new retro look I liked it and continental breakfast was basic but the price of hotel was so good we would never complain.... keep up the good work were coming back!!!

Hotel had great location. Our room was upgraded free of charge. Continental breakfast was great. The bed was a little on the hard side but the rest of the room was nice.

The hotel was a bit of a pleasant surprise. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating and access from a major thoroughfare was fairly easy.

Stayed at the Econo Lodge for two nights during a recent stay in Calgary. The hotel was an older building, but the rooms were clean and actually very quiet considering that the hotel was located right on McLeod Trail. It was very conveniently located for everything we were doing in SW and SE Calgary and getting to downtown was very easy. The only think I was a bit disappointed in was the state of the pool area and the exercise room. The exercise facility was very small with only three pieces of equipment, one of which..the recumbent bike was broken. The jacuzzi hot tub was only luke warm, but this may have been because it wasn't used much and was off for a long period of time. It took quite a while to warm up and never did get really hot. The continental breakfast was just the basic fare, although not much different from what is offered in most other budget hotels. All in all we had a pleasant two day stay in this hotel and considering the lower cost of our room, we would certainly stay here again in the future.

This is an older style hotel. It's not perfect but the staff was excellent and we had absolutely no problems. There is plenty of places to eat within walking distance from the room. There is also a grocery store just up the street. It is a straight shot up the street up to the Calgary Stadium(under 10 minutes if you hit the lights wrong). We will stay here again when we come back to Calgary.

Hotel was ok. Good for an overnight. The location for us was the most important. Pillows did smell of smoke in a smoke free room.

Room was clean and comfortable but bathroom could use some updating. Staff friendly and helpful. Overall still a good stay

It was very good for my purpose. They were renovating quite a few rooms, but it didn't affect me at all. I did notice that the carpet in my room was badly stained, but again I didn't really care. The bed, couch, bathroom, and hot tub were all great. The front desk service people were awesome! I didn't get a chance to sample the breakfast b/c the front desk person told me it was served until 10:30. However, when I got there at 10:05, it was already over. Didn't matter, there's a Denny's right nearby.

Was a great stay... Beds were hard but was only there one night. Some of the staff were rude and arrogant as we were young girls going out, he targeted us and treated us very unfair. Would recommend to anyone looking to do shopping at chinook as its just down the street. parking was no problem, and rooms were neat and tidy!

Stayed here the night of our company Christmas party. The room was comfortable and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast even included some protein in the form of boiled eggs! Definitely good value for the relatively inexpensive price. I will stay here again.

I don't recommend this hotel for the average traveler. Seems to cater to field workers needing a local place to stay.

This hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. We had a good swim in their warm pool and the soaked in the hot tub. The beds were average for most hotels. But the room was very clean and comfy. The breakfast was nothing special but good enough to get the day started.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was a bit noisy in the morning because of people in the hallways. We forgot our toohbrushes and had to purchase them from the vending machine. They were worse than a dollar store brush and much more money... I would consider staying there again if he price was right.

My husband and I were only there for the one night and it did meet our needs. The location of the hotel was perfect for the stores we wanted to go to.

The hotel was very nice and clean, we had our small dog with us so we were in the older motel section. The carpet wasn't clean and the beds were old but OK. The room had a stove, fridge, microwave and sink in it which is good for anyone staying for a few days. Nice breakfastt room over the pool area with the usual breakfast items. I would stay there again if we have the dog with us.Diane

Was ok. Clean. I tought it was pretty noisy early in the morning, at 6 am you can hear lots noise.

Room was clean and had the usual amenities. Wifi connection was good, as was the continental breakfast.

we felt wecome staff was very helpfull .we enjoyed our 4 day stay

The hotel was very easy to find. The beds were really nice & compfy. The breakfast was nice to have even though it was nothing special. I love having a fridge & microwave in the room. The only thing not so good was that the carpet needed a good cleaning however I have seen way worse carpets. We plan to book 3 rooms here next Spring for the Comic Convention. It was really nice having the indoor pool too.

when we arrived the comforters had hair on them. When we told the front desk the evening manager immediately replaced the bedding. was quite happy with other parts of our stay enjoyed the pools and complimentary breakfast.

The stay was wonderful and things that were needed were fullfilled

Room was clean. Beds were comfy. The only thing we don't like was that you had to flush the toilet like 3 times before the toilet paper went down all of the way. We told them twice they said they fixed it but they didn't

The morning clerk was most helpful about giving us directions to the places we were going for the day. We were happy with our stay.

My room smelt like a smoking room even though it was non smoking. Very hard beds and the rooms were not comfortable. The service at the front desk was excellent and the location was good.

Rooms are on the small side, beds uncomfortable .service. Is excellent good breakfast good value. Ok for a one night stay!

The hotel was clean, as was our room. It had a bar fridge and mircowave which is always handy to have. The front desk / check in service was great, the gentleman we had was very pleasant and was joking around with us. The hotel featured a pool / hot tub, and continental breakfast. The location was perfect. I was with my friend on a shopping trip. We were a block or two south of Chinook Centre, and ended up being across the street from the Cheesecake Cafe...yum! I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends, family....and you.

The main part of the hotel is decent and they say they are pet friendly, but when I told them I had my dog with me, the price increased and I got moved from the main part of the hotel to the motel portion. The traffic and the 3am parking lot arguments were loud, the marijuana smell was overwhelming and the room was not clean. I was grateful I had my sleeping bag with me, I will never stay there again!

Loved the wood floors and decor in the room. The rest of the hotel seemed a bit dated but nice enough. Beds were comfortable and the body pillow was wonderful. Enjoyed our stay.
